This is one of my favorite Heart songs, and this is actually the first time I'm hearing a cover version that does not let me cringe. You did it justice.
What always impresses me about Floor's performances is they look so effortless. You never get the impression she is straining, and could go higher if she wanted. No fluke, though. Years of training, dedication and practice.

Ann Wilson has been my favorite female vocalist for 40+ years - such power, vulnerability, and grace in her voice. Floor is on that same astral plane - legendary.
First: she's dutch and not american or british. Second: when she was younger and starting her career people around her suggested she should sing commercial pop music because she had a lot of potential, but she said no: she liked metal and rock and didn't want to sing music she didn't really liked. Third: even dutch people doesn't know who she is, metal is not very popular in the Netherlands. Fourth: metal is not really mainstream around the world, only a few bands are "popular". Maybe things will start to change now, for some strange reason "Nightwish with Floor Jansen" has become some kind of trend in TH-cam and a lot of people is "discovering" her.
JFL I hate to say it but for a few generations who have had their ears calibrated listening to rap, hip hop and pop they probably wouldn’t get it. They have never heard Anyone with any talent so they would probably thing she is terrible.
Now. nov. 2019 most of the Dutch know her and are proud. Because of the "Beste Zangers 2019" tv-show, which led to manay many Reactions of Floors singing, mostly ending in tears and no words left.

What great musicians they all are :) I think this moment at 3:25 shows how much fun they just have making music together. You can see the same 'effect' at the Wacken 2013 concert. They are just having a good time and I'm sure thats an important fact why listening/watching nightwish is such a joy. Aside from the fact that they all are very skilled professional musicians :D
I love tarja when i hear NW songs especially her era songs BUT i really love floor NW when i go to their concerts..definitely entertaining and GREAT VOCAL too 👍👍👍👍
On 28 Sept. 1994 the ferry M.S. Estonia, crossing the Baltic, sank with a loss of 852 lives. Similar cruise definitely not the time and place to sink or say anything in re the Titanic. On the other hand, I'm still trying to wrap my mind around being able to see these performers in such an intimate setting. How wonderful for those who were present, and to Susitar for documenting it so that we all could enjoy.
