My friends grandmother had a 2007 a4 sedan 2.0t and it has 257,000 miles on it when they got rid of it. And like you said as far as the window switches pealing, you’re exactly right because that’s exactly what hers did and then the glovebox hinges broke. Center console hinge broke. The car feels solid for sure but it obviously isn’t without its quirks. For the most part it was reliable but like all German cars when they break, they cost a lot of money to fix and finding a good mechanic that is knowledgeable on these cars is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Still really liked the car though even though it was a money pit.
