The serrations are for corrdige or straps. Try cutting either with a traditional blade. An EDC knife should be able to do everything. Hybrid blades all the way!

have plain edge in black with green scales, plain edge steel with black scales, ordered this combo edge with black blade and scales and it looks absolutely gorgeous and like a much more expensive spyderco, love it, also the tenacious is around $60 rn during 2022

I agree. The Spyderco Tenacious is one of my favorite knifes. I think I like it even more because it's so affordable. :)

I generally opt for a plain blade too. Serrations are a pain to sharpen.

Do you know how to sharpen serrations properly ? Pretty easy and i hope you don't find yourself in an emergency where a serrated edge is required
