Awesome review!.. I've used this racquet for about 1 year now. I think it's one of the most underrated racquets out there forsure. In my opinion it feels is a blend between a Wilson blade and a head radical. My customize MPL: -Wilson leather grip -yonex overgrip - Wilson Dampener -2g of weight in the throat -extended butt cap .5 (but I customized it to .25 Static weight 332g
@@raytrace2014 mid plus doesn’t really make sense to me though, a lot of pros are the same size as the MP. I’m not saying you’re wrong, it just doesn’t sound right to me
@@willfaust471 but that's literally what it means. For a very long time there have been essentially three (possibly four) head sizes: mid, mid plus and oversize (sometimes a super oversize or oversize plus category is talked about too). It's changed over the years but a mid is roughly 85-95sq in, mid plus 95-105 (ISH) and oversize over 105 (ISH). MP means mid plus, not main performance. Trying to pretend that's what it means insults customer's intelligence (it means mid plus) and it's meaningless. If an MP is a 'main performance' racquet what's a Pro or Tour? Secondary performance racquets? Head should just stop using the term MP if they're going to pretend it now means something else. Imagine if Volkswagen started claiming TDI doesn't stand for 'turbocharged direct injection' but 'tremendous Deutsche ingenuity' or some other made up nonsense. It would be ridiculous and no one would take it seriously. MP means mid plus.
Great Review! Probably one of the least covered racquets so nice to hear your thoughts
@@28mcavanaugh thanks 👍

Love my prestige tour
Nordicdots are 99si. Wilson Steam 99si. MPL = Main Performance Light. MP = Main Performance. Very interested in this MPL. Good for customisation.
MP stands for Mid Plus. "Main Performance" is some recent marketing nonsense and it makes no sense.

@@raytrace2014 I haven’t been around tennis for very long so I’m not super informed on naming conventions, I appreciate the education
