Dregs, keep doing this shit bro bro, I know this is a lot of work and I am sure you got a family and life. As someone who has been running 2SiccAudio since the 91siccness days, I have a huge respect for someone else doing a platform like this with so much content! Good job, flowers bro!
Much love 2 Big Tone and Waxx OGs & legends in the game shout out to the podcast for hosting the real ones Rest in Peace Ryan "Woodie"Wood 🙏#TenToezDowN #Northbound
Wax real smart for mentionin UDI n the all the album notes info being a backdoor key. Late 98 - bought UDI self titled album HMV Oxford UK on a whim and got hip to EVERYTHING from that. Got online at a local place, and put it names n remember 50 50 Chances comin up and that was how it all started. N then knew it wasnt just 40 Water, 4 Tay, Richie Richie, Paris n Spice 1 etc.!!
That's exactly the vibe I felt with nostalgic days. Literally had that nostalgic vibe from the beat to the rhyme patterns. 💪💯 Real fans appreciate thats Big Dawgz 💪💯
Wise words spoken Wax. Wisdom and direction. All love. Pittsburg on the map. Real rap. We look up to you Wax. Thank you for you perseverance! Go getter! Bro in the hood central / 12th street. MO’s market! Remember all of us looking up to A-WAX!
No one made music like Woodie. Around the 20 minute mark really match my feeling. The Patriot Act by Woodie is one of the hardest songs ever. Woodie warned us of what was to come and he predicted correctly. Woodie was so much more than a gang banger, he was extremely intelligent on not just the streets but political and class struggle. I don't mean to sound all deep or woke but to Woodies music espoused values. His music was revolutionary in multiple senses. Rest in Peace Woodie, and shout out to Tone and Wax. Had to edit and add "Woodie is like beer", as a white dude who heard Woodie living in Oregon Woodie was the craziest shit I had ever heard when I first listened to it. A lot it I hated but the more I listened the harder it was to put down. Id argue when it comes to hustle, flow, rhyme, story telling, all that he deserves to be up on lists with PAC
I like how they said secret society in the bay area. They named alot of great artists. There used to be levels to the game out here. Who does deeper than Two-Illeven and UDI are artists like Dush Tray, 380, 5150, Black Dynasty, SK-1, and even if u wana go to DEEPEST side check out Mc2 & Jdog, Young Dre D, Kreep, Marv/Mitch & LeMay, Yun-Gun, Skanless, Lil Pigg Penn, Bee-Gee, G-idez. Alot of those are Sac rappers but there were levels of depth to the underground scene back then. It was pure art. Nothing less. The game is 100% percent watered down nowadays. Awax n Tone are some real legends. I just don't feel how some of these rappers change they style with the times. I understand it but i fucks wit that early 90s to early 2000s shit. RIP WOODIE THE LEGEND. AND MUCH RESPECT TO AWAX N BIG TONE. REAL FACTORS
@Matt Mangante_925 And that just goes to show you right there you could still get put on after all these years. I just listened to that whole album that shit goes so hard front 2 back. I've heard the name but never listened to it until now. There are so many talented artists that I'll ll stumble across till this day like how tf was I sleepin on this back in the day.
I grew up in Tulare in the 90s 43 years old stll jamming out to Cold World Hustlers and dre dog this morning. About 12 hours a day on the road though for work
21:15 I’m glad you guys mentioned Sir Dyno. His DarkRoom Familia is like a movie company where they make films and they make their own music for their films. I grew up on listening to Sir Dyno before I started listening to Woodie, I’m from the 209 from Waterford but Dyno lives in Modesto. I also remember the deep south side rappers.
