- Adopt don't shop!!!!! So everyone says, in our swearing videos that Pebble is mad, or oh boy here's an angry cockatoo!!!! Lmao no she's not mad she's just expressing herself! Here is a video where she is in, just about bite mode. If I would've pressed her ANY further, I would've been leaking all over the place. People say Pebble is in such great feather condition, she's beautiful, but, She barbers her flight feathers. I don't clip her wings at all, to the individual that's asked many times now if I clip her or not.
She's hilarious the way she waddles around when she's running on the cage, so animated and funny

I love this little character. No matter how depressed I feel she always brings a smile to my face. Kelly should create a counselling service and just subject his patients to Pebble for 30 minutes a week. After 10 minutes of Pebble’s antics my woes seem to disappear 😄
Any person that says humans are the only sentient creatures are overlooking nature. Pebbles may not know what the words mean, but Pebbles definitely knows the passion/happiness/anger behind them.
Jason Woods we can’t say that, I wouldn’t say there are other sentient animals besides humans except for other apes possibly, but that’s not saying they aren’t intelligent.
Imitating a sound the same way it was heard is not understanding emotion, it’s just reflection.
I believe these birds can feel attachment and affection similar to love as well as fear but that does not create sentience either
Of course they're. The ones saying the oposite are illuminated religious, or people influenced by their paradigm. If the parrot doesn't understand meaning of words, that's because he hasn't been educated. A human without education would be the same, and wouldn't be able to understand a word only by hearing it. Not the first idiot can judge what intelligence is, and how to measure it. There're plenty exemples of languages towards animals species, and the ones who think they could judge them wouldn't be able to translate a 'word'. And some animals understand many of our own words, because they were educated correctly. Like, if you want him to understand, don't repeat stupidly the word without assigning what you say to something, but point the concerned object. And every dog I know understand at least several words, starting by their own name... And sentient is not the best thing some species have, since they can have complex reasoning. They have notion of time and space, cry their deaths, invent new languages different from tribes to tribes, recognize us as the smartest creature on Earth, etc. The rest is bullshit, pretending we would have a 'soul', at the exclusion of other species, all that to justify old books which consider humanity should be the center of existence. Fools who deny intelligence where it is : all is normal :-)

I had a roommate once who had a bird exactly like this one and we lived in an old apt with no carpet in halls, and the bird hated when we left for work he would scream “come Bach come back came back” and you could hear him all the way to the elevator bahaha I’m surprised we never got kicked out.

I love this bird😃 I wonder however, as she has had numerous owners prior to Kelly, if THEY are all ok... as her language and actions are mirrored from a very volatile relationship. At least one of her previous owners laughed, swore and carried on like Pebble does. She learns from what she sees on a regular basis...this kind of environment is not good for anybody. Thank God she is now in a stable happy household with a family that obviously knows how to look after and love birds that are with the family for a long time💜she is such a diva😆Thank You for being such a great parent/owner💜🥳👍
I showed this video to my parents..(in their 70's) and we all giggled for the entire video. Then we watched it again. She is such a special bird. You two are quite a pair.

I wish I knew when I was younger how amazing these birds are. I started you tubing them when our son complained about his apartment neighbors bird. Turns out the bird was caged constantly and then put in an outside cage when they went to work. Beautiful compassionate social creatures. I had no idea. But I’m led now so I guess I’ll just have to work at a parrot sanctuary. You so love this bird. Thankyou

I was introduced to Moluccan Cockatoos some years back at Nancy’s Secrete Garden in Key West FL she rescues exotic birds and keeps them on the beautiful grounds where people interact with them they were very vocal and funny I then started watching them on YOu Tube and found Pebble and have watched her ever since.
