      The funk-metal was an hibrid funk+metal(hip hop,rock and soul mixed too).These bands(RHCP,Infectios Groove,DRI,Suicidal Tendencies,Primus,Faith No More)were a great influence for the posterior nu-metal genre.!!!! Without them,there wouldn't have existed nu-metal.

Thank you guys so much for being my rock!! By the way, saw suicidal 4 times, met a few of you in Worcester, best day, but I was shy haha. • @Oqualquer
    @Oqualquer 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

Infectious Groove is like Primus, the bass is very audible and loud with the bassist player Bein very high skill (both Les Claypool and Rober truijro are very skilled bass players), but the difference is the song style, and even though both bands are from different genres, they are the same in the lyrics and humor of the songs: very goofy and silly while being really serious at the same time (with Infectious bein more to the silly part than the serious part).
Also Infectious Grooves kick ass alot, probably the most badass funk Metal band ever!

Infectious Grooves is on the house
Diba daba doba daba hey hey hey
Straight from another world another time another thought
We've come to save that beat to free the groove and watch you rot
Sweet feeling-can't stop it no! no! no!
We're gonna punk it up and funk it up!
Damn right we got the ways we got the means we got the feel
We've come to bust the grooves that everyone will want to steal
Sweet music-can't stop it no! no! no!
We're gonna punk it up and funkt it up!
And then the day will come when all the world will come to see
The knighting of the sound that's spreading infectiously
Sweet revenge-can't stop it no! no! no!
We're gonna punk it up and funk it up!
Well I'll punk you up and then I'll funk you up
Go cyco go cyco go cyco
Kick you with the beat kick you with the groove
Kick you in the butt now you're booty's on the move
Hit you with our feel hit you with our sound
Hit you with our zak how your booty shake around

+♀A♀ I dunno, it's all very well putting out stuff that is to your exact taste (Assuming Metallica isn't to his exact taste..), but at the end of the day it's nice to have a house and a car and a bit of money stashed away to help your kids do the same and be able to eat whatever food you like and take a couple of holidays here and there and help your friends and family out with money if they need it. He wasn't in the situation to do half of that stuff before. Plus he makes Metallica sound way better than the previous guy did, so it's good if you're a Metallica fan, their old songs now sound way better live. Kurt, Krist and Riki Rachtman brought me here.

@@xhellabentx I think it really just comes down to what kind of music you listen to, I love metal, mostly thrash and that is why I love early Metallica and Death Magnetic a lot, their 90s stuff is also pretty good to me mostly for the lyrics and vocals and bass, but then they had a lot of filler in my opinion. Hopefully their next album is great, and I hope Trujillo can add something cool there.
