Heating up the grips with a blow dryer will also help. Great vid. Looking forward to a P2000sk with these grips

Yep hair dryer works great with all of these grip tapes. There is nothing wrong with these Handleitgrips and a great cost alternative or if you’re not planning on heavy use, they’re great , I will give the high end version to Talon.

The P2000 has different backstrap sizes. I wonder how this kit would work with the L or XL backstrap. Looks like yours might be the S or M.

Best would have been to start the tape from the middle of the front of the grip keeping it symmetrical then pulling to each side.

Nice grip install video. Will be anxious to see how long they work as advertised.

Thanks , agreed. So far they are a winner. Amazon seem to have limited versions but good pricing. eBay had more options but a few bucks more. Still almost avg 2 for 1 over Talon, but we’ll see. I did also see that even for the USP version (which has no grip panels or removable back strap) they still use a two piece concept, so I think this is simply their normal product set up.

Looks Good! I’m a longtime bicyclist, so handlebar tape gets changed often. Same with pistol tapes. When I use Talon grips, I wear a heavy glove to help with the heat, and to also squeeze the tape as hard as possible. Happy New Year!
