Great video, the P2000 is a hidden gem of a concealed carry pistol especially with the LEM trigger. The long take up and reset of the LEM can take some getting used, especially if you learned to "ride the reset". There are only two upgrades I strongly recommend if you are interested in the P2000 (and HK45c for that matter). The first is a set of Talon Grips Rubber Pro grips to improve your grip on the pistol in cold or wet conditions. I carry my P2000 in both strongside IWB and AIWB holsters and found the rubber PRo grips provided better traction without tearing up my cloths or skin like the sandpaper grips. My second upgrade is strictly a matter of preference. I hate HK's OEM 3 Dot sights and prefer a hi-viz front sight with a blacked out rear on all my pistols. There are not a whole lot of choices for the P2000 platform, and my go to is Dawson's fiber front/black rear Charger sight sets.

Changed my sights to the Dawson as well! Original sights were trashed on mine.
I had a Gray Guns short reset kit installed on my P2000 LEM and some other springs to bring the trigger pull weight down which helped tremendously.
For the competition gun, excellent idea!

Bought a used P2000, a 2012 9 mm model, it is the V2 LEM model. I like the SA/DA trigger better than my S & W single action full size model. The P2000 does not like steel case ammunition, it jams on ejection. I carry OTW but try to cover with a shirt or jacket.
If you read the manual HK recommends against steel case ammo. I found out the hard way during the height of the pandemic ammo shortage Fall 2020. I ordered a case 1000 of Wolf Steel case 9mm and had my V9 eat through it. While it did not like it and gave fits, I found the only way to run is make sure it is run wet. The steel case with lacquer finish is not as lubricious as brass and will stick in the chamber.
All the ranges here in California frown upon the steel cases. Something about starting fires. Maybe a good thing for me.
@@PaulGee well when I bought it, I ask for some 9 mm ammunition since it was my first 9 mm gun. They happened to give me some Winchester steel case ammunition. Since then switched to the Winchester white box target ammunition. Got Harmony critical defense, for EDC.
If I may ask you a question, I carried that exact model before I retired from LE, what mods did you do to it for match shooting? Again super video
