Sorry again for the lack of content, the move went well and we are settling in well, but still lots to do!
In this video I do a quick walk around of the new workshop and other areas, but the main content is re-wrapping the field coils from the Dynamo. Most people would simply purchase a replacement Dynamo, but this one just needed a little bit of a spruce up and I’ve always wanted to have a go at wrapping coils, so I decided to give it a go!
Hope you find this interesting and I hope to get back to regular filming soon!

very useful. going to do that myself. one question though :) for my generator, the cable that comes out of the coil is holding itself by a couple of threads only. once I get the coils unwrapped, should I solder the cable to the coil? any other advice? million thanks :)

Hi yes you should be able to resolder the cable to the coil wire. I will be re-assembling the dynamo in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for that! 😉👍
