    what ppl are calling "quiet quitting" is called "work to rule" in unions & the labour movement. It's a long-used form of job action that is regularly used to slow down production and show that bosses are nothing without workers. if you're ready to 'quiet quit' def look into unionizing (or getting involved with your union) - it makes a huge difference

    • @33up24
      @33up24 2 ปีที่แล้ว +37

      Yeah it's the ethernal struggles between the working class and the parasite class. One would have you work for free if it legally could, while the other one as a response tries to do as little as possible without getting fired. That's why capitalism is bad for productivity. Just imagine how much more productive a society would be if they actually enjoyed doing what they do, however mundane that task might be, instead of doing what they do cuz the alternative is starvation.

    • @likemysnopp
      @likemysnopp 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No it doesnt 😂 all it does is ruin the production. And they will replace you asap and should as well. Doing nothing in a store is fine but at a factory.. no

    • @snoot_mcgoot
      @snoot_mcgoot 2 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      @@likemysnopp my guy. sweet pea. slowing down production on a factory line is a classic job action tactic that workers use together. you don't do it on your own, but as a part of a coordinated effort with your fellow workers. if you just slow down on your own then yeah, there's a good chance you'll get fired. but when you do it in coordination with your fellow workers this can be considered job action (which is legally protected under some circumstances) and can be used to provide unions and worker's groups with leverage to negotiate better conditions, pay, benefits, etc.

    People need to stop spreading this misunderstanding of what quite/silent quitting is.
    It is NOT being bad at your job and doing as little as possible.
    It is NOT being a horrible employee ON PURPOSE and not doing your work.
    It IS doing the job competently. No more, no less.
    It IS not dedicating your life and time to the company/business/corporation you’re working for.
    Because going above and beyond/doing the most and best in your department will not get you more pay.
    These days it will, instead, reward you with more work, more responsibilities, and expectations to always do better than the day before, with no compensation for it.
    This is why quite/silent quitting is happening and NEEDS to happen,
    so that workers realize they don’t have to accept this vicious cycle in every/any job that they take on.
    Let’s stop this idea that being taken advantage of in the workplace is normal.
    P.s …Sorry for the word vomit.

    You guys should do a bit one week when the next show is ready to be presented where yall switch sets between shows. Like drop tmg on Tuesday but its the new show then drop the name of the new show and its Brooke and Connor, then trill but its Cody and Noel, then BNCMP and its Ben and Emil. After the week drop the trailer when you introduce the new show like the Cult promo. back to normal the next week.

    Honestly, I woulda fuck with those annoying people with their questions. Be like the reason we dont have cd players is because they need a rare earth metal and due to import taxes and major floods that disrupted that minerals excavation CD players aren't profitable anymore and to look it up in the Taiwanese export annual report on page 2354 to 2434
