Super awesome video and match up between those Inline six engines The TB48 engine has the largest displacement of all inline six engines 4.8L !Not including diesel engines i might be wrong but thats what i know. It is verry common In Australia and Middle East ! From Factory its like 280hp N/A but it can be modified to what you just witnessed, a masterpiece.

Kind of surprised the Patrol didn't crank up the power a bit more, but it still got the job done. Great racing, that Barra runs plenty strong too. Really appreciate the fully finished quality of the Australian builds, great attention to detail.
It's a cultural thing in Australia, we don't like driving cars with miss matched panels and we don't usually take a car to the drag strip or the road until the paint job is done. We usually work on getting the car looking good while the motor is out getting built.
If you look up street machines drag challenge from earlier this year you can watch the patrol snapping some violent wheel stands and some other cool builds.
He literally said it was capable of 2000 and he could turn it up as needed and may even use the nos you think he made that much of a difference on the last race by not changing anything that's how racing works
My first cool car was. 71 510 sedan. Wasn't as fast, but it had a rebello lz22 with dual carbs making about 190-200hp. But it was only about 1970lbs. Super fun little cars. Very cool vid.
That datsun is insanely clean for an all out custom job, his trunk full of weights for traction seemed to work pretty well but its gotta be a handful to drive with that power to wheel base
They ran low boost because they never raced on that surface before. Probably closer to 1000hp vs the 950 in the datsun. Not only that, the weight difference and aerodynamics comes into play.
Wicked race. Love to see them have a GQ vs a Pajero cause there are built ones out there. Def one of those series they could take around the world without much problems
