I have just finished the final draft of that book, as you can see in this video. I did self-publish a book about bullying when I was seventeen which is available on Amazon (amzn.to/3mdJKLm), but I'm slightly embarrassed by it now!

I don't have merch in the traditional sense (I can't imagine selling something with my face or name on haha!), but I do have a stationery company where I sell planners for students. I added a reminder on my phone for the release of the Academic Planner. I used it this past year and it was soooo useful, I couldn't see myself going a day without it. Also, my friends were always so impressed whenever they would see it! It earned me the title of the most organized friend of the group ahah!
I got out of the habit of diary keeping and watching Ruby getting excited over stationery is somehow motivational haha. I want to get back to writing an entry everyday because we all know how it helps with our mental health :)
It’s inspiring to see you value old technology mixed with the new. A typewriter is a most handy tool for filling out forms, writing on non-standard paper, and keeping your keyboard skills sharp for making fewer mistakes that are much harder to correct than on a pc. Notepads, fountain pens, and colored ink are the eclectic items needed by multi-dimensional folks like you! I loved the ipad, too!
Love how you are so openly comfortable with the old fashioned way of doing things, even the way you dress, etc. and for one so young too.

I really appreciated you posting an academic supply list for a master-level course. So many are for high school/ early undergrad that are full of supplies one rarely uses in later stages of post-secondary education.

Hi, just be really careful using acrylic based ink in a fountain pen. Drawing and calligraphy ink is made for dip pens and is thicker and heavier than fountain pen ink, it can really clog up the feed and if left to dry can permenantly block the nib x

i would recommend getting a leuchtturm instead of moleskine! the paper quality is more consistent and fountain pen friendly
I haven't ever tried them actually - but I've yet to buy a mini pocket notebook, so maybe I'll give it a go just to see :) thank you for the advice! x

Such a beautiful language (at least in the original) and a perfect mix between psychology and history. Both of which I´m very much interested in. Hope you like the book. I used a total of 3 notebooks throughout my bachelor's and master's: Two spiral bound A5 subject notebooks and one thin, sewn A5 notebook for field trips and excursions. I use Pilot Frixion erasable pens in multiple colors for taking notes.

I really love the Moleskin brand as well for notebooks. I made up an academic planner for the upcoming University year with one and am in love. I chose the Harry Potter Weasley Car Royal Blue Moleskin. I absolutely love the themed ones as there are some illustrations in the front and back of the book along with some stickers or a leaflet in the back folder. I have a Mandrake pamphlet from one Moleskin and my Hogwarts school supply list from another.

LOVE STATIONARY! Best part of going to school in my opinion lol.
I’m a geology student and there is a brand we love called rite in rain. We do a lot of field work so that means drawing and writing in the rain. The paper in the rite in rain books are actually waterproof it’s amazing. You can only write when it’s raining in pencil not pen but the brand is amazing.

@@RubyGranger8 the paper is made from a mix of materials which are water resistant (I looked it up and it’s polydura, field flex and fabrikoid). The materials are recyclable as well so it’s can be recycled like normal paper. I know some water resistant papers are made from very fine grains of rock dust and plastic but that’s less sustainable.

This inspired me to organise my iPad! I’ve had an iPad for almost a year and it had been really unorganised and I feel like I took it for granted.
Little tip: if you rip your sticky note sideways (not up, but from left to right) it'll hold on paper better

hello, I want to recommend a tip to be able to write on paper without getting too tired, you just have to place a piece of eva foam sheet, or cork, under the sheet where you write, this will make the surface softer when writing, and it will reduce the fatigue when writing for long periods of time, I hope it will be useful for people who will be going back to school and will have to write for long periods of time.

I thought of you yesterday Ruby. Cambridge utd vs Oxford utd in the football 🙂 battle of the universitys. (Cambridge utd won - thankfully, as that's my team) I love your videos. They have helped.distract me from my sadness of losing my dog. Tomorrow it will be 3 weeks since she passed. It's the most pain my husband and I have ever felt- and he lost both his parents within a year! I've started writing a grief based piece.

Congratulations on Oxford! Random question - how do you use the two commonplace notebooks? Does the information overlap/repeat and are these two notebooks the same as your journal? I’m trying to figure out my own system and I was just curious about yours. Thank you!
Ruby you shouldn't use acrylic ink in fountain pens as it can clog your pen feed, the red ink you got is a calligraphy ink and acrylic so not good for fountain pens it is designed for dip pens. The green Diamine ink is fountain pen friendly, the Diamine fountain pen inks are great.
where are the pastel page flags and stickers from? i’m hopefully starting an english degree in september and they would be so useful!!

Apple products are so magical. I had to replace my ancient iPhone this year. I’m in love with my new phone. It’s so beautiful, and I can organize my life on it.
I like Diamine too. And I prefer the musician series, especially Vivaldi, a colour with light purple and gray. And November Rain is also a kind of beautiful green colour with red sheen.🎉🎉🎉
