I believe the song is about female idol groups who can't speak or act like themselves and feel like the music industries puppets!
Also, that hole they jumped into was a leap of faith because the other person who i think was Simon when he was part of DMTN couldn't escape the industry like he wanted too and exploded, but under the leadership of Simon he allowed XG to jump into the music industry and they made it through.
I believe when their running to the top of the podium it's a sign of their individually and independence. They took their bow like they definitely deserve.
Also, i think the white symbolizes when their dancing on the podium that they're in control of their own destiny! XG worked endlessly for us Alphaz this year! Arigatou gozaimasu XG, SIMON, and ENTIRE CREW!

This song has its message of women empowerment, but paired with the MV we get something deeper. I believe this MV was a visual representation of XG breaking boundaries paired with the song it’s basically them saying we won’t be controlled by outside influences or conform to societal norms of the idol industry the industry’s standards will not control us. They will achieve their dreams and rise to the top how they want.

To me personaly song is not about men becoming puppets to women, I don't think this song is about boys. To me this is more about taking fate in to your own hands and stop being puppets, reversing situation. Not letting anyone holding you by strings. It could be refered to haters also that keep trying to control what the have to say without giving them a chance to speak as maya said in the begginning that she doesnt feel herd though she is speaking. Great video, just wanted to add from my exp; I've always had this androgynous look as ppl in K Pop, but in my case it was fuel for bullies when I was growing up. The sad thing is, I don't even think the song was meant to be a boy-hating anthem. I think it was meant to talk about not allowing ourselves to become puppets to the demands, expectations, ignorance, or projections of others; to instead be the ones pulling the strings for ourselves in order to create a better future collectively.
