Hey Surrey. In the game vs munqst, why do you mobile beacon your mustangs to the back corner only to immediately cancel and do the same thing to the other mustangs? I see this gets them to face the back corner; does this delay them a half square or something?
He does it in case he gets flanked. It's to make sure they path towards the flank instead of the front line. If there's no flank, they go to the front line as normal. If there is a flank, he is protecting himself.
I think fangs have too little hp for it to work, fire will kill a level 3 fang in just a second. Even with mech rage I don't think they move fast enough to survive through it, and ofc they have 20m less range as well.
Honestly it's a great move by your first opponent. You were lacking some big single target damage to take out the spiders and the likely way that was going to happen was with a single unit. I think he played your board.
well carry boat with wasp summon pretty good vs melters. But multimelter very strong vs overlords/wasp combo. Hard to say, the matchup depends a lot on chaff/frontline

Check his video about mobile beacon. It manipulates target aquisition a bit.

Oh I’m gonna think about trying this on carry fang, would be nice to have fangs that don’t lose to fire plays

i think it's harder with fangs since the mustangs move faster so they connect to the next thing fast and start healing

Carry boat is still fairly strong, just not unstoppable since the chin gun nerf
