      Now why would ANYONE want just a "Normal" day? That would be boring...
      That engine still has some life in it, a definite KEEPER.
      Now how about an interview with Mr. Mr. Hewes on how it all happened. ;)

    • @philhawley1219

      A Fastrac is a good tractor? Best thing to do is burn the bugger and get the insurance. A respray for the trailer and some new pipes and as always the Foden does it's stuff. Fair play though, who would believe it started at the end!

      he did say that thing was on fire many times if im not mistaken. so much for a "good tractor"

    Relieved that nobody was hurt.
    In fairness, the fire was so well established by the time you got there, that firing a few BCF's at it would barely make a dent, especially in wind that strong. Well done to the firefighters for getting there as fast as they did.

  • @Hellsong89
    @Hellsong89 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    That is what you get from vehicles made from wire and plastic. Proper old steel construction would not torch except few wires, casual adjustment wood block and loads of grease well as oil that has covered it over the years.
    Least its nice to see it didnt have anything bullshit that prevents engine turning, just needs mechanical injection pump and few bits to get it running if nothing else as generators engine. For anyone that had this happen, remove the injectors ASAP and pour some automatic trans oil inside the cylinders and valves to protect them from corrosion. This way it wont be rusted shut by the time you start looking if you should rescue it, same thing if its flooded, fill with diesel to bring everything you can. Outside can be sandblasted but the inside will corrode when exposed to air after water. Engines are not cheap so might as well, specially if its mechanical injector pump diesel, you just need power for starter to get it running.

    Unfortunate day guys, I feel for you.Think you need to add a Dennis Sabre or Scania fire engine to the fleet, watching the godiva pumps put that fire out. If you get 1 and have any problems I’ve had a few years on them if you need help 👍🏼

      As long as it has a godiva pump, you won’t go wrong.

    Poor JCB Fastrac. We make them at Cheadle. At least there are no injury. Looks like an early one.

    I had suggested getting your own firetruck for washing big trucks and that but it would also come in handy for putting out fires as well.

    That’s awesome can’t believe you got it running ! It’d make a good rat rod tractor 🚜 now ! Shame though and at least nobody was hurt 👍

    Your videos are brilliant. I can't lie they've been a great help, I've just started a job I'm 100% under qualified for and yet using your videos I've developed an understanding of enough brake cleaner and determination you can start any vehicle from a Peugeot 207 to a tank. 😂

    Remember who laughed so well at the harm of others. Go and laugh at him too when the time comes. So sad that this is the fire fighters who did it!
