Edipus Rex in the Southwest. Interesting idea but awkwardly executed. The script seems to be straining to make it work.

I'm in the middle of the story... Doing some calculations here... If Oedipo is (at present time in the story) 20 years younger than his 50-year-old wife, and the murder of her first husband took place 20 years ago, then Oedipo would have been only 10 years old at the time of his father's murder.
