Migraines are a type of headache disorder characterized by recurrent moderate to severe headaches that can be accompanied by other symptoms, such as nausea, vomiting, sensitivity to light and sound, and visual disturbances.
Here are a few general tips that may help manage migraines:
1. Identify triggers: Keep a headache diary to identify any patterns or triggers that may be associated with your migraines. Common triggers include certain foods (such as aged cheese, chocolate, and processed meats), stress, hormonal changes, lack of sleep, and environmental factors.
2. Maintain a regular sleep schedule: Establish a consistent sleep routine and aim for an adequate amount of sleep each night. Lack of sleep or irregular sleep patterns can contribute to migraines.
