    Ed buddy,
    Because your review for 2023 was not available until a day ago, I saw all Canadian reviews on Tucson Hybrid Luxury trim.
    I must admit that your review is the only one that’s truly helpful to have in depth understanding of the features. Your review is also like a user manual. I will save your video to refer how to use my hybrid luxury 2023 thats coming next month.
    A huge shout out to you for reviewing and sharing your expertise. Please keep up the awesome work!
    Cheers!

    Hey Ed, I've watched many different videos on the Tucson, but yours are the best. Lots of others have too much fluff. You get down to the gritty details and explain everything very well!
    I'm in Canada and have a deposit put on a 2024 Tucson PHEV Ultimate. Hoping to get one before the new year. Two questions for you, do you have any 2024 coming in that you could review? Also, I've seen in another video from someone else that the Bottom of the Rear seats actually depress down when the top of the seat comes down, to give you just a bit more room. It doesn't seem to do that in your videos. Maybe in a different market? I thought that was strange. Not a huge deal, just odd!
    Either way, thank you! I don't subscribe to many channels, but I've subbed to you from the other end of the country 😊 Keep it up!

      I was in your neck of the woods a couple weeks ago!
      I'll be back in the office at the start of September so I don't have answers for you at the moment.
      But feel free to contact me at Bannister Hyundai Chilliwack after September 1st and I'll be more then happy to figure things out for you.
      For now, I'm on vacation as you'll see on my channel, lots of videos related to it 🙂

      @@edsgarage001 Haha, regarding the seat question, it was actually your 2023 Hyundai Tucson Trend video that showed them depress down! At the 4 minutes mark. Which doesn't seem to happen for the Hybrid version, I guess due to components being under the floor maybe

    Good morning when pulling into a garage without model, would it be beeping as you get up towards the wall or do you have to go to the ultimate trim for that? And is there a switch that turns out off and on thank you.

    • @edsgarage001
      @edsgarage001  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, this one doesn't have the front parking sensors. For that you would need the ultimate.

    Keep in mind not all of your subscribers are in Canada. Those of us in the USA don’t use the metric system except when using tools like wrenches and sockets. When you give info in metrics, take an extra couple seconds and give the USA equivalent. Aside from that, good review. I’m looking to buy a new car and the Tucson Hybrid is the current front runner.

    • @edsgarage001
      @edsgarage001  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thx for the comment...
      We sell with a small $3000 markup that includes mud guards, wheel locks, rubber mats, paint protection, cargo tray and window ceramix.
      Not so BS really, considering we've actually had people buy them and then turn around and sell them for more money and make a profit.
      In Canada we're barely getting any of these in stock, yet the demand is massive - About 30 times the supply.
      Thanks to the stock shortages we're only selling about half the cars as we used to, so we need to supplement somehow 🤷

    • @59marck
      @59marck ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@edsgarage001 I see various mud guards and cargo trays on Hyundai Canada's website. Do you have more specific on witch models are included in your package? Thanks for your time. Your videos are verry informative by the way. Good work!

    • @edsgarage001
      @edsgarage001  ปีที่แล้ว

      The package varies to be honest. Reason being is that parts are now equally difficult to get. So it's whatever happens to be available.
      We've also reduced our markup/package amounts. Lower end and less sought after vehicles have a $1,500 package now.

      Trailer hitches are available for this vehicle from Hyundai and other companies.
      If you remove the foam organizer under the floor, you see some of the hybrid components. But you Could probably squeeze a space saver tire under the floor still. Though, I haven't tried it.

    the weak point of this vehicle are their headlights. they suck. the rest of the vehicle is great. rest in peace to mine, an Elk decided to play FAFO with mine. the engine is moderately quiet, but it is not the smoothest at idle. but its great when in EV mode, its a very smooth car overall, minimal road noise. i fit a 75 inch TV in its box with seats folded down. great cargo space. i loved it, i beat the snot out of it over 53k miles in 1.5 years. the blue model nexen tires are TOTALLY TRASH, they pickup EVERYTHING on the road....12 road hazards in 18 months and 10 tires replaced!!!!! all from road hazard. but over all its a great vehicle. im not sure if i want another one or not.....

      @@edsgarage001 yea, but insurance paying me more than the MSRP was, and considering the warranty was almost up....guess it did me a favor.
      mecahnically this thing was solid. a few trim issues, and the local dealer by me their service department is worthless, 2 other dealers were fine with warranty work.
      FYI highway MPG over 65 NOT as advertised when following interstate speed limits in the US. but at 60-65 it will get 36-37mpg. considering speed limits in US on interstates if oftern 70-75mph, it will get about 32mpg.
      around town ive gotten as low as 32, high as 40mpg, and some individual trips i would even see 60-70mpg if driven right.
