@@prisregil no one doing this is scraping by. You're an idiot. You have no idea about scraping by. Doing any kind of racing is a luxury. Doesn't matter if it's cockroaches. It's got to be 50k a season to run. You don't get sponsored straight up.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but that 4cyl Buggy was my fav. I usually like fire breathing cubic inches, that that 4cyl formula car was perfectly built, and it only weighs 2,000 pounds!
It was working magic on this American dirt! I can't wait to see the bouncer/formula hybrids; maybe they can figure out how to make buggies that can be competitive in both disciplines,...
chris hamilton if I have the chance to build a buggy it would be pretty close to just that. Low CG light yet a little more suspension travel. Be very easy to limit the suspension travel to complete with the formula Offroad guys.
@@HIGHOCTANEFILMS you build it, document the build and include your design intent and the learning curve elements and you channel will explode. I think it's a fabulous idea! Get enough competitive buggies together, and y'all will have to book passage to Iceland! Lol!
A bit of commentary for those of us that don’t usually watch hill climbing would be great if possible. First time I have watched this kind of motorsport and was fascinated by the power and strength of these vehicles and the driver skill. Thanks.
Thanks sir, I don't like my voice so I won't be doing anything like that and our budget is dirt poor so commentary won't be a thing here anytime soon. just raw horsepower audio.
Oliver Lewin I’d disagree on that, this is the only place in the USA they can run that we know of, and only a few spots are tough for them, while in their native land they have a bunch of different difficult climbs.
Probably different minerals. This seems like dry pressed mud. Whereas in Iceland its often more of a volcanic sand. Its like taking a F1 Champion on a Ice track in Iceland. Must b e harder.
@@Zoonjse I'm not complaining at all. This is my 2nd favourite motor sport to Rally. Been watching a bit of the US rally lately too. I'm bloody impressed at that too!
Ok the point system is so; 350 points for finishing, then the penalties, - 20 for touching a marker, - 40 for driving over a marker, - 80 if only one wheel is in between the markeres, - 40 for reversing accumulates, final gate halfs the penalties....hope that clarifies something
Great vid, no bullsh!t music or unnecessary commentary. Just the roar of the engines and flying dirt.
Just the way I like it. Thanks for watching and commenting!
I am so glad these guys are coming to the states every year. I need to get out there and witness it myself!

Finally a method for removing kudzu that works!
it'll grow back, lol
Yes ewean
next year they need to send em up some rock hills, get em outta their comfort zone.
MrWest434 the formula Offroad guys picked this park for the dirt hills. No rock here at all.
These cars are not buildt for rock crawling. Just sand.
Tim cameron the champ.
GREAT VIDEO MAN!! I HATE IM GONNA MISS IT MY CAMERA IS DONE!! LOL SO IM DONE UNTIL THE 2020 RACE SEASON 😭

As much as I love the original, the US version seems more hard-core to me. I enjoy it more. Non-biased UK fan.
Oliver Lewin I’d disagree on that, this is the only place in the USA they can run that we know of, and only a few spots are tough for them, while in their native land they have a bunch of different difficult climbs.
The only difference I see is that these track seem to be drier, hence more material for the tires to scoop.

Do they ever run these in the snow over there ?

Not snow. That is too soft, but they drive on water :)
@@originalrcfun7368 Ive lived in Wyoming and Colorado, not all snow is soft, especially in Iceland. Those paddle tires would rip on hard snow pack.
