I used to work in a long term elder care facility. We had similar gerri-chairs, but this one has better padding for the back. Frequent repositioning, incontinent care, and proper hydration are key to prevent decubitus ulcers. You’re doing a great service here to inform and instruct everyone. Thanks guys. 👍
This chair seems amazing! I am a nurse working at an upscale ALF and memory care facility/retirement community. It breaks my heart to see the pressure ulcers that are an be caused be the standard wheel chair design today. Please email me more information that I can give to the residents. Thank you both so much for thinking of something so important for quality of life for people who really need it.
Hi Bob & Brad. You guys are doing a great job, teaching people important clinical facts in a fun and informative way. Congrats on 1m subscribers - that’s 1,000,000 you are helping every day with your videos. You’re having a great impact on the world. Also, thank you from me and my family for the kind review on the Milano. I’m glad to hear the lady in the care home enjoyed it so much. All the best to her and to you both. Regards, Martina Tierney OT
I’m under 50 and I want to enter my next years equipped with good habits. For everyday activities that we all do, what is the best posture and what should we pay attention to? Brushing teeth (leaning over), loading dishwasher, shoveling snow or digging with a shovel, vacuuming, sitting on a soft couch, bending over washing machine unloading laundry and broom sweeping....etc. sometimes I feel a pinch in my back doing these things.
Thanks Bob & Brad for all your informative and helpful videos! Bob, maybe it’s me but it sounds like your cold/sinus issue has returned! Hope you feel better soon.😊

I just watched your video, where can I get this and how much? My father is in the Philippines and he is on bed most of the time but by having this chair will help him a lot.
@@BobandBrad Awesome video, as always!!! On a related topic, could you please explain how you would try to rehab Proximal Hamstring Tendinopathy, which is worsening through prolonged SITTING and how exactly the process would differ, if there are signs of neurological involvement (pos. SLUMP Test)? Assuming the lumbar region is free of pain, the MRI doesn´t show any disc involvement and there are no signs of a Piriformis Syndrom. Thank´s a lot in advance!!
Hi guys. As someone who has suffered from sitting pain for almost 50 years, I have found that my sitting pain comes from thoracic spinal illness. Yes, I know the pain is felt in the lumbar. But my problem was in the thoracic spine. I have almost fixed this by doing a great deal of thoracic back-bends and thoracic twists. As an 'armchair non-qualified youtube physiotherapist' :) , I have gone the extra mile of making a video called "Defining thoracic spinal health'... It's really sad that companies like this chair eally want to gouge the disabled American sad.. this chair is outrageous in price.. along with many other pieces of equipment for immobility persons.. just trying to survive...
