Converting my 17' Uhaul box van/box truck into a mobile tiny home.
In part 22, I get basic plumbing up and running. Fresh water tank feeds into my kitchen sink and my toilet. The kitchen sink feeds into grey water tank.
Products used:
Toilet: www.amazon.com/dp/B000BGM8D0?...
Grey Water One-way valve www.amazon.com/dp/B00NLMPLDU?...
Water pump: www.amazon.com/dp/B002XM5G70?...
Sediment filter: www.amazon.com/dp/B000V2W0GE?...
Accumulator: www.amazon.com/dp/B000N9VF6Q?...
Shower mixer: www.amazon.com/dp/B081W6ZL2R?...
Mixing steel wool with the foam that you seal the floor holes with will keep rats from being able to chew through it and get into the truck. ;)
Good luck trying to return this Uhaul truck rental after doing all these changes to it.
On the issue of filling from a stream, I saw a video of I guy that put a pump,10ft of hose with debris filter in a plastic tool box. Had a quick connect electrical connector and quick hose connect all self contained in the toolbox. He would carry it to the stream along with a long hose and power cable from the vehicle. Turns out it's much easier to pump water uphill than try to draw it up.
I always thought a good place to add a fill would be under the hood. Whether it be a truck stop, convenience store or gas station it looks as if you are overheating and adding to the coolant. Use a large mouth as possible with large cap to accommodate different water hose sizes.Run a vent line to a spot where you can see it "top off"
Great job. I'm going to build one of these soon. I love a lot of your ideas
This was so interesting to watch.
Bro, this is a fantastic resource. Im planning out my build now and Im for sure going to use the ideas in your videos. Keep up the great work! 👍
i cant wait untill thie build is done
yes another upload lets goooooooooo!
Good video
You should add a plug to be able to charge the truck at a tesla chating station incase its overcast for multiple days
I was just brainstorming plumbing and a recirculating shower. Good work!
Just occurred to me that you must have spent a small fortune on tools, blades glue and fasteners, nice clean build, you could make good money building these!
Indeed have spent quite a bit on tools!
@@TheTechnoBarbarian I’m down loading this entire build to use as a reference for my personal build, your attention to detail and the stealth is what hooked me thank you so much!
How can i get a hold of the parts you used for your plumbing such as water pump and so on thanks for the advice
I added more of the products I used to the description. If you have any other questions hit me up on Locals!
Dude. I feel like we independently think alike and come up with a lot of the same ideas. I'm also building a box truck with which I wanted a glass sliding door, trailer style fold down rear door/deck, recirculating shower, and REAL toilet. I could never imagine myself being comfortable with a composting toilet and its tediousness plus price (I don't mind having to empty a blackwater tank). Your videos are so clear and clean, with everything well lit and in focus, but I feel they are tutorial-like/instructional in nature. What's your plan to dial in the accumulator? And how many days did it take to film this video?
Good taste. I'm going to try a few different PSI levels on the accumulator and see what level works best. Generally these take about a week to film but I shotgunned these plumbing ones in a few days.
Question, wouldn't it have been better to set up a filter system so the toilet would use gray water rather than drinkable water?
Why no p trap below the sink?
Hepvo valve replaces P trap and takes up less space
Looks like a great product, I’d never heard of it before.
This was broken down well thanks very helpful. Glad to see you made the build playlist. T.B. binge watching beats Game of throwns binging. 😆 👍🤙💪🪓💥
