Thanks for watching! Leave a thumbs up on the video if you want to see me use this for street photography and test more features like zoom, and low light.

To transfer files from an Android phone you literally can plug your usb-c to c cable onto your computer and phone, change the charging option on your phone to file transfer then your computer will see your phone as an external drive. No need to delete the extra jpegs no need to transfer to Google drive.

    • @RanftEvan

Yeah that didn’t work with this phone. Not sure why. You are right tho it’s been that way with every other android device I’ve used

Google was one of the first, if not the very first company to bring computational photography (namely their HDR+ algorithm) to Smartphones. Apple and other Android OEMs were way behind in terms of processing once the Google Nexus 5x and 6p hit. Same goes for their computational raw files.

Most likely will just because doing street photography with smartphones is always fun for me haha

I'm not a photographer or even someone who looks at many images, but it was pretty obvious that image A had much more detail than image B. Image B had a nice, balanced and 'realistic' tone, but there was no fine detail of material grain, etc on that image. Image A was obviously the more expensive camera.

those new smartphones are incredible now for the quality that they produce, like now even if you are a pro photographer and could find it a bit hard to know if the pic from a phone or a pro camera, next phone I would like to suggest to try is Sony Xperia 1 Mark Vi, give it a try, the portrait mode in that phone is way beyond the other phones.

I really like that you're unbiased and always trying out different brands, this content would be of great help to those who aspire to create but don't use a certain brand for any reason, however I would love to know your opinion on the Pixel AI editing, I think it's called "Magic Editor if I'm not mistaken, Great video as always.

I find the colors out the box from this phone are lovely, not overly digital, no crazy in camera processing, just clean shots, and they're a dream to edit compared to other phones iv had, o have a similar issue with the noise in desaturated shadows and in low light

How do you connect a mic to this this phone without a mic jack? Bluetooth? I know it's not Leica standards but would this be a good handset for videos and how is the audio playback for having a clear and voice that be heard well from the internal mic of the 8a?

The main key is good lighting.
Pixel photos are just good enough to use on social media.
For large print or crop or unique look we need pro camera.
