I use to sing in my church choir back in the 90s and we made several concerts like that. It was super fun but a lot of work and rehearsal. We even got the chance to do some set designing on one. It was super fun. I really miss those days. And now u can't even be close to anyone with the coronavirus so sad.
This movie was a great example of showcasing color, ethnicity, true diversity just rocking together….and I love how it was done without talking about it and with just living it in the moment. God I miss the 90s. Plus, it wasn’t about thotting, sexuality, etc…. just talent, hard work, building character, standing up for the greater good, AND CELEBRATING VIBES with it!!!

I was 14 when I saw this on VHS and I'm 43 now. Lauren Hill singing the gospel song solo with the woman signing it behind her is one of the most beautiful things I'll ever see in my life. It was hard being a Christian teen and you have no idea how good this made me feel.
