It’s about accountability. Personal choice to be happy, present and willing to make a difference. I’ve been on both sides of the fence. You said it perfect with working with the willing. I’ve moved the willing who weren’t good fits for one job and moved them to another where their skills are better suited, win-win. However, learning to get comfortable with being open and honest with your team and ask them what their willing to do to us a respectful and realistic approach. You are giving that person the power to chose and not stay in victim hood.
But having a relationship with your team, setting clear expectations and providing the environment for them to be successful is our job at leaders. It’s not to pull people along and make them happy. Sometimes we al have our “emotionally expensive” moments, but not staying there and finding, trying and doing is the game changer.
Those actively disengaged, do you really want that type of person on your team who’s sabotaging the team’s culture and engagement. Bye ✌️

A woman can talk about any subject, make any breakthrough, any discovery, the commentary will still have a comment about her appearance.

Life IS messy is not the same as life's messy. Grammer / syntax/ spell check is in order.

Kursla, you're off the mark, "life's" is a contraction of "life is," not the possessive of life; BTW, grammar is spelled "grammar," not grammer. So much for Kursla's input.

Thanks for not telling us anything!! This is talking in circles. Coaching is becoming old news!
