That baby powder is dumped on the track to slick up the track. Add water to keep the dust down. Many tractors would not have a full pull. Tractor would break traction in moist dirt. Makes me miss my 56 400 diesel. Loved pulling with it and driving it in the parades. That duel fuel was neat too because not very many people new it started on gas and ran on diesel. Pretty neat. God bless.

When I bought a brand new tractor in 2015 it was a John Deere. When it comes to old stuff I prefer Farmall IH 👍
