Love your low(er) $$ approach. My fist pullin' tractor (oliver 70) had the number "62" written on the side with soap stone; that was the out-of-pocket dollars I had in putting the tractor together. Moved on to a pretty hot little Farmall H that I stroked the crank 1-1/2" in my shop... it was class champion in our little circuit until I sold it. Brings back some memories... makes me wanna build another. Thanks; glad to see you enjoying the blessings you have received!!

Quite a collection of iron. Wonder if it's all EPA approved by the DC elite... LOL. Tractor pulling has definitely evolved over the years. Lots of friendly competition and comraderie.

Mornin my Christian brother- question: why aren't you using an air-to-(ice)water intercooler? Air charge density, cool/ rich with oxygen is key to making big HP/TQ Thanks !😊
Hey Todd! You are correct about that, some places don't allow an added on intercooler, but honestly, I get tired of the hassle of fooling with the ice, and in this class, I can get it to run strong enough to win without it. But if I was going for absolute max power, I'd have to have one!
@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 OK, interesting. Then another way 'round would be a LONG charge air pipe between compressor outlet and intake. The air temperature would still be substantially lower, no maintenance with ice / water and still within the rules?
@@ToddsHouseofSpeed-uq5sp Great minds think alike, we stretch out the pipes pretty long, and spray water in several places along the way to cool the charge as it travels through.

It seems to torque ubruptly to the right causing the front to move to the left. Is it because the right wheel spins a bit more than the left or is it the track that does it and causes it to do that? Or are the tires somehow causing it? Seems exciting for sure!!!
@@happyjohn8256 It is exillarating to go on a wild ride like that. The track can cause it, the sled can cause it, the differential in the rear end can cause it, hitting on of the individual rear brakes will cause that too. Don't know, but the track and not being lined up with the sled well enough could have caused it this time.

Just 6,500 and 7,500 lb. open classes, not set up to pull at any sanctioned pulls.
