Wow I didn’t know you could rent out an apartment in peace corps. I thought the only option for housing is to live with a host family. Correct me if I’m wrong ?
It is different for every country. They all have their own guidelines for safety but it was a requirement to live with a host family for the first 6 months after you swear in and go to your site. After that if there was a house available PC came to evaluate the home and make sure it was safe to live in. ☺️ hope this helped!
This is very nice. I am not in the Peace Corps, but I live in Mexico and your place is more luxurious than mine. I am curious to know if you feel like you have discovered a secret living there? I feel like I have. Once you live the simple life and become accustom to it you realize how much money is wasted and resources are wasted. Just a thought. Thanks for the video. Lost and Looking hi! I am definitely more minimalistic now that I’m back in the US. Everything I own I use. I have almost nothing in storage because why... ya know? This was a VERY nice house and I was fortunate to live in it.
