Literally the only cars I drove throughout my whole playthrough once I unlocked them. Jenny for just casual cruising across the map. Javelina for missions that took me out into the Badlands. Avenger (or as I call it in the game, Eleanor) was what I used during the city race missions. And Cthulu was my endgame car as I cleaned up the map before my trip to Embers.
Generally the Nomad versions look the best IMO. They even managed to make cars great that suck in any other version. Shame there is no Herrera Outlaw in Nomad version.
Javelina is great, but I honestly kinda want a Nomad version of the Caliburn. That car drives like a dream, but the handling on it is a little too good, causing me to regularly overturn and overcorrect,, causing annoying spin outs.
Corpo V would lean heavily to the Avenger or a custom, more luxurious variant called the Halcyon (sounds cool/corpo enough, 😐) Nomad V would have the Javelina.. maybe a custom, up tuned up armored version called the Thunderbird/Earthcrusher Street Kid V would go either Cthulu or the Avenger (Avenger is dope as hell, Cthulu sounds the best) I feel the Avenger is let down by its really loose handling and it's muted engine tune.. (I mean, with the massive blower, that engine should be howling loud... But it got a more GT like engine instead)

The typ-66 cars has amazing design, i just wish we could have a non-modded 66 with good street performance. You can't really "ride in style" using a Javelina.
Isn't there a standard type 66 you get during a mission? I remember doing a quest called "gas gas gas" and it awarded me with a dark green type 66 with classic muscle wheels.

Avenger looks futuristic and modern, but javelina is really unique.. I love this 2 cars Problem is javelina cockpit view seems to low that makes me hard to see the traffic
@@Krakire Yeah… It's worse than GTA 5, which was already not great. Can't see shit in CP2077 & immediately get motion sickness. Normally I love first person cockpits, but the camera, fov & layout is absolute garbage. Especially combined with the FPS issues this game has.

I prefer the Jen Rowley. Drives the best in 1.52, imo. I use a mod to swap skins too, and surprisingly, you can put all the other type 66 skins on it, even the Avenger and Cthulu, which are a different model of the car.
Driving it in the city is like driving a big SUV the size of a coupe which I’m sure is what 60s-70s cars were like since the design was inspirational. Even bigger but not as ridiculous as the Alvarado

True, as much as I like the colours you do get, I feel with car customisation, here are some of the combos I'd run Type 66 Avenger: I wouldn't really change, but if I could, I'd run a red/white stripe or Dark Grey or Dark Blue/gold stripe (V's preferred color scheme of you see his Archer hella's colors) Type 66 640 TS : Red/Black or Blue/White Caliburn : Red/Black/White, Blue/Dark Blue/Sky blue (IRL Chiron shades) Aerondight S9 : Kerry's combo was perfect (Dark blue/Matte Gold) or White/Dark Green Herrera Outlaw : Black, Red or Blue Kusanagi : Red/Silver or White/Dark blue or Black/Carbon (stealth look)

I don't know if they updated this later, but IMO the javelina can't turn for shit. The Cthulhu and the Avenger can drift around corners pretty easily but the Javelina can't. You have to let off the breaks completely, hit the gas full throttle and turn as sharp as possible and it still doesn't turn as well. The advantage is that the car looks awesome, and it sticks to the road better than the other two. But for handling I'd say the Cthulhu is best despite spinning out from time to time.

It doesn't jump high, it's glued to the road and no matter the sun or rain it's just flawless. Caliburn is still fastest but put some rain on the road and it's drives like on ice. Also not that great offroad and likes to jump far in the city hoops. If i could only have 1 car in whole CP77 it would be Javelina. Might change while Phantom Liberty is released and we will get new cars.

Hi mate well I am going to be making a tuner car vid soon that will cover that car and some others so once that's out the comparison should be there, honestly tho if your looking for good handling cars you should look at some of the amazing mods out there improving driving. All cars are bad to drive in cyberpunk haha , but id say the javelina its very grippy, the caliban likes to fish tail a lot for some reason , the Mizztani isnt a bad car either.
@@iron_aussie yep, agreed 100 percent. The Javelina is the best Overall vehicle. but top grip and handling must to to the Mizutani Shion "Coyote". Looks like an RC toy, but she don't mess around. Best controlled drifts in the game and a good top speed, I was very impressed. The Javelina just screams Mad Max vibes. She's my fav. The Jen Rowley is the best looking "classic" muscle, the Avenger needs your full attention. Man, I love muscle cars.
it's funny how bad the handling of the stock cars is, in comparison to most nomad cars. I found myself driving even the car that you get from starting as a nomad (the gecko is a bit faster and even more grippy version of it!) much more than any other supercar, even on tarmac there is no reason to wrestle with the atrocious oversteer.
yeah i find that weird aswell , the caliburn tends to slide and fish tail a lot more then the coyote or other nomad cars haha , the driving in general is a bit off.
I really wish the game had car customization, but for me it’s the avenger. I have them all but the Cthulhu….. did the mission the way it was said to do it …. So I could get it. Still ……. Have yet to get it
I wish it had car customisation also I think the hype around cyberpunk made it into a gta sorta game and cd project red didn't do anything to temper expectations, as for not getting the text about geting his car I think it tolk about a solid week or two in game to get the text, not sure why at all but I had collected almost all the cars before I got the text.

yeah some cars like the cthulu their trucks cant be opened , but you should still be able to use the stash on the car just interact with the back like normal.
Absalutly agree my fav colour is matte black so that's why I like the cthulu, I wish I could paint the Avenger matte black it would be the only car I drive.
@@iron_aussie You can sometimes see bright yellow or blue Avengers on the street but haven't seen any black ones yet. I like bright yellow sports cars. Also, my favorite car is convertible Mizutani Shion but sadly we can't buy the convertible version.
@@DTWesker the shion is a sweet car really fits NC, and I did notice that the yello type 66 isn't purchasable which is really od seeing as it was almost as promoted as the turbo-r.
Did you drive down hill slightly? The road I use for testing is in the south west high way I start at the petrol station and go to the boarder then drive back which is slightly down hill but I tend not to include down hill speed becasue it's not really its tip speed, thank you for the info though :) appreciate it.
The Javelina is by far the best handling of any vehicle in the game (for KB/Mouse users at least) IMHO. Although the opinion is that the "Bat Mobile" (Caliburn) is apparently the best for controller users. The "Coyote" is a VERY close second, although it's a little more "lively" on the road due to it's lighter weight, and also a little bit faster overall, but it's almost identical to the Javelina off road due to being 4WD. When you test the different 'Shion" versions, don't forget to search around and find one of the ultra rare, NPC only, "Targa Top" variants. It's the one Takemura drives, and it's showcased in various "commercials" in game, but it's incredibly hard to find. It has amazing "presence" both in looks AND handling, although it's not the fastest car.
I hope someone can help me, in my case the problem itself is not with the trophy, I have already bought almost all the cars with the exception of the last one, which is the Quadra Type of the 66 640 TS since every time I try to buy it I never get appears and the truth is that it sucks a lot to do a game again to get it.
First Car I got was the Avengers, yes, she handle like a drunk Rhino and I may have kill a few pedestrians going around a corner... But I have no regrets!
First thing is to wait time I have had cars be texted to me over two weeks in game but Its a sort of a common glitch I'm not sure how to fix it reset it if the car doesn't show up after a long time , some cars btw tolk over a week real life time to show up, try looking up some mods depending what platform your on , if not then it might be just glitched and you would need to restart the game , trust me I know it's painful I had to restart multiple times just to make this vid as cars would just not appear.
I just hope/wish they add the ability to pump gas...🙄🙄 Every open world game with driving in it..never has the ability to pull up to a gas pump and put gas in it. gta series...watch dogs...mafia..etc. The only game that does that i can think of is "days gone." I'm just saying it would add to the imersion...plus come on game company's its 2021 now #getwiththeprogram
i actually agree with you having limited fuel means needing ot go to gas stations which means there could be som eguy robbing the place and you can do somthing or watch make the city feel more alive, i also am a fan of games like escape from tarkov that have deep weapon customisation, im with you emory more imersion would be great.
Try to get more then required stret cred, and as for the call it happens randomly a little after you get the required stret cred, I think it was a few days in game for me also keep driving around the city, I hope it works eventually for you the Avenger is sick.
Stole the Shion after the second race (which was an experience with the weirdly soft suspension…), definitely an awesome car. Then while I was on route to a quest I quickly did some gang activity and it just vanished on me halfway there. :/

@@iron_aussie yep, agreed 100 percent. The Javelina is the best Overall vehicle. but top grip and handling must to to the Mizutani Shion "Coyote". Looks like an RC toy, but she don't mess around. Best controlled drifts in the game and a good top speed, I was very impressed. The Javelina just screams Mad Max vibes. She's my fav. The Jen Rowley is the best looking "classic" muscle, the Avenger needs your full attention. Man, I love muscle cars.

it's funny how bad the handling of the stock cars is, in comparison to most nomad cars. I found myself driving even the car that you get from starting as a nomad (the gecko is a bit faster and even more grippy version of it!) much more than any other supercar, even on tarmac there is no reason to wrestle with the atrocious oversteer.
yeah i find that weird aswell , the caliburn tends to slide and fish tail a lot more then the coyote or other nomad cars haha , the driving in general is a bit off.
I really wish the game had car customization, but for me it’s the avenger. I have them all but the Cthulhu….. did the mission the way it was said to do it …. So I could get it. Still ……. Have yet to get it
I wish it had car customisation also I think the hype around cyberpunk made it into a gta sorta game and cd project red didn't do anything to temper expectations, as for not getting the text about geting his car I think it tolk about a solid week or two in game to get the text, not sure why at all but I had collected almost all the cars before I got the text.

yeah some cars like the cthulu their trucks cant be opened , but you should still be able to use the stash on the car just interact with the back like normal.

Absalutly agree my fav colour is matte black so that's why I like the cthulu, I wish I could paint the Avenger matte black it would be the only car I drive.
@@iron_aussie You can sometimes see bright yellow or blue Avengers on the street but haven't seen any black ones yet. I like bright yellow sports cars. Also, my favorite car is convertible Mizutani Shion but sadly we can't buy the convertible version.
@@DTWesker the shion is a sweet car really fits NC, and I did notice that the yello type 66 isn't purchasable which is really od seeing as it was almost as promoted as the turbo-r.

Did you drive down hill slightly? The road I use for testing is in the south west high way I start at the petrol station and go to the boarder then drive back which is slightly down hill but I tend not to include down hill speed becasue it's not really its tip speed, thank you for the info though :) appreciate it.

That's the Mizutani Shion. The Nomad versions of those two look a lot alike.
What about the type 66 hoon
The Javelina is by far the best handling of any vehicle in the game (for KB/Mouse users at least) IMHO. Although the opinion is that the "Bat Mobile" (Caliburn) is apparently the best for controller users. The "Coyote" is a VERY close second, although it's a little more "lively" on the road due to it's lighter weight, and also a little bit faster overall, but it's almost identical to the Javelina off road due to being 4WD.
When you test the different 'Shion" versions, don't forget to search around and find one of the ultra rare, NPC only, "Targa Top" variants. It's the one Takemura drives, and it's showcased in various "commercials" in game, but it's incredibly hard to find. It has amazing "presence" both in looks AND handling, although it's not the fastest car.
I will eventually do a performance vid of all cars and I'll try to remember to find a convertable shion to show in the vid just for you :).
I hope someone can help me, in my case the problem itself is not with the trophy, I have already bought almost all the cars with the exception of the last one, which is the Quadra Type of the 66 640 TS since every time I try to buy it I never get appears and the truth is that it sucks a lot to do a game again to get it.

well its probably one of the best performing cars in the game so if you can get the eddies then id say yes.
First Car I got was the Avengers, yes, she handle like a drunk Rhino and I may have kill a few pedestrians going around a corner... But I have no regrets!

What do I do if the car isn't their I have to 50 street cred and I'm lv 30
First thing is to wait time I have had cars be texted to me over two weeks in game but Its a sort of a common glitch I'm not sure how to fix it reset it if the car doesn't show up after a long time , some cars btw tolk over a week real life time to show up, try looking up some mods depending what platform your on , if not then it might be just glitched and you would need to restart the game , trust me I know it's painful I had to restart multiple times just to make this vid as cars would just not appear.

Every open world game with driving in it..never has the ability to pull up to a gas pump and put gas in it. gta series...watch dogs...mafia..etc. The only game that does that i can think of is "days gone."

i actually agree with you having limited fuel means needing ot go to gas stations which means there could be som eguy robbing the place and you can do somthing or watch make the city feel more alive, i also am a fan of games like escape from tarkov that have deep weapon customisation, im with you emory more imersion would be great.

Try to get more then required stret cred, and as for the call it happens randomly a little after you get the required stret cred, I think it was a few days in game for me also keep driving around the city, I hope it works eventually for you the Avenger is sick.

Stole the Shion after the second race (which was an experience with the weirdly soft suspension…), definitely an awesome car. Then while I was on route to a quest I quickly did some gang activity and it just vanished on me halfway there. :/
Oh, and the bikes are kind of disappointing with their cruise ship like turn radius and designs (Arch Nazare is okayish).

Totally agree with you there a dealership would make 100% sense, and with street cred being a thing having high cred means your somone famous so obviously they would allow you to buy the top super cars.
