I saw a video recently. Thrre is another way which was intended. During Gimme Danger mission, while you are escaping the Arasaka Industral Park there comes a flying car carrying new enemies. If you jump on it and wait for a short while it will fly up to that exact spot.
@@DefaultDanielS I think you are right. There are missable things in the game but there always is an alternate path to get to them. The flying car is an example, the event happens only once.

*OLD* The title should be enough, but I was able to do this parkour before the new patch came out (it can be done with the cyberware from Fingers and I found out later that 6 speed is required for the jump that is why many people failed + you had to know how to use the cyberware properly which now doesn't work how it used to). Basically I have tried it on the new patch and the first jump is doable but the "fortified ankles" cyberware was probably nerfed because I can't jump as high as I used to ( I have videos made before the patch if there is need of proof or something) so I can't say for sure what it takes to do it, I will update this comment if they change anything (if I don't forget). *OLD* *OLD* EDIT: I managed to do it the same way as before, it was trickier but I did it, I have spent a while to figure stuff out but it can be done with the same requirements (remember to have your speed stat high enough)+ at the second part of the parkour try to lineup your character as close to the edge as possible. *OLD* UPDATED EDIT 8.8.2023: SETTINGS --> VIDEO --> MAXIMUM FPS TURNED OFF, from what I have seen recently patch 1.5 (15 February 2022) made the Cyberware jump height based on your FPS so if you have your FPS locked at 30 you won't jump as high as before. I have no idea if my FPS was locked and that is why I had the problem, anyways this is on me for not searching enough back then. Also don't forget about the Speed stat, which has to be high enough so you can make the first jump, if not you can try doing it with Rebecca's shotgun. Edit: After patch 2.0 check the pinned comment

The number of people who punched Fingers in this comment section is TOO DAMN HIGH. If you refrain from punching Fingers he remains a ripperdoc who is available to you, and sells the only epic leg mod, as well as being the only vendor to sell a certain sandevistan.
I went out of bounds, studied the oil fields, cosmic port, arasaka ac, pacifica combat zone and almost every area in the game I wasn’t supposed to visit. But somehow, when I climbed on top of that crane in my original playtrough… I thought that there’s nothing more there, no way this skyscraper is worth climbing…
@@DefaultDanielS and I did, after watching the vid! (I also use fingers` legs and implant that allows to evade midair + keresnikov, this combo gives 2 double jumps and if perfectly timed 2 dashes), I just gave up for some reason on my 1st run, thinking there`s nothing worthy up there
@@humbletoxic Two double jumps sounds interesting. Could you please go into more detail about that implant and what you need exactly to achieve that extra jump?!
@@Ricardo-cl3vs sure! Firstly, you need to get a special leg implant from Fingers. It allows both strong and double jumps and to stay in the air for few secs if you hold the jump button. Second, you need a maneuvering system - an implant that allows to dash midair. The last thing is Keresnikov, any of them, however purple and golden ones are better as they give you more time. Then just climb on any roof and practice the technique: Run, do a jump, then hold the jump button. At this point, you should be floating in the air and slowly drifting in the direction of the jump. Then, evade holding block/aim button and double tapping forward (or any other direction) which should trigger the time slow and reset the double jump (watch your cooldowns below the health bar). When the time slow almost ends, tap jump again 2 times, holding the button for the second one. From this position you can evade once more, however the double jump won't reset. So there's a limitation of 2 double jumps and 2 dashes. This one requires finesse, however it is super satisfying once you get the hang of it and allows for crazy distance jumps and awesome parkour. Good luck!
Awesome find. This still works as of 1.62. made it first time after watching your video :D Just a shame the loot is garbage. Would have been nice to see some Iconic weapons or armour stashed away in random, hard to reach places like this. Instead, most rooftops feel bare and unfinished. Almost like they never expected players to climb them. I've lost count of the rooftops and balconies I've clipped through and fallen to my demise xD
yea, iit is reachable, but much harder than before, however the main way to get up there is by jumping on top of the AV flying from the Arasaka compound, so having an iconic weapon up there isn t a good idea. I wonder if you used any other cyberware because to me it seems like the jumps are ridiculously hard after they nerfed the charge jump, and other people mentioned using additional cyberware
@@DefaultDanielS I'm running 20 reflex, 12 body, 16 cool. Think I may have had the legendary mod for (50%) faster running equipped on my shoes and points in any faster movement perks within those attributes. My other cyberware is mainly QOL and although im running kerenzikov, I didn't use it for the gap from the second crane. I made it onto the ledge by maybe half a metre to a metre.
@@green_beard_87 oh interesting, I don't remember seeing a legendary mod for 50%, I think you are using the "zero drag" mod. The crane jump is still fairly easy however the jumps on those things are very hard or at least I am rarely able to grab on to the ledge
@@DefaultDanielS The platform ledges up to the helipad? They're deceiving as one way is taller than the other. Didn't really have much trouble unless I held space for the first jump instead of double jumping. I've nothing to compare it to though as I held off buying the game until last month. Did they change the Epic Fortified Ankles? I seen that they properly nerfed armor and mods at some point.
I wish they would do more of this because there's so many areas I just kind of like break into out of bounds or find my way too and there's nothing there and I wish there was. Half a Pacifica is just buildings half burried in sand.
The general jump-nerf they did, really bugged me! Nice find though! An actual secret, as opposed to most CBP-videos, that just show regular-ass missions and rewards, and just hope people missed it simply by not playing properly.
Cool! This game really is fun to snoop around, especially climb places, because the devs seem to have anticipated many an ambitious little climb, and then acknowledged it with an easter egg or at least some junk to collect :D
@@zegh8578 the dev added that because you can get up there from the arasaka compound using an AV, after speaking to the dev responsible for this he told me that it was mostly done as a way to get down
Anyone else did this without even knowing what you would find. There was a glitch i used, run backwards off a ledge and you time it right it would send you flying, it's doesn't work anymore, if anyone finds another way to do it let me know
With how much it takes to get into these well hidden areas the least they could do is make the loot worth it when you finally get there. As it stands there's basically zero reward for finding these areas.
They made a lot of things harder after the patch which I'm not sure how I feel about that, even took out legendary loot locations where you can now only buy them ... 😕

there are 2 f5 saves needed here, on top of the crane and on top of the building before doing that series of jumps but nowadays I save after every jump considering how hard this parkour became
Nicely done 👍 1 question tho. You seemed to be able to do a triple jump at 1 point. I've only got the double jump legs. May I ask how you were able to jump more times?
keep in mind that I did this before the new patch, I used the reinforced ankles cyberware from fingers (epic version), I jumped once and then I activated the cyberware mid air and then with right click I gave myself a little boost (now this isn't possible and you can't jump as high after the new update because they changed the cyberware)

And what implant did you use earlier for the boost? You say it's reinforced ankles, but you do a double jump and the second one is reinforced with floating through the air. How? P.S. I read the comments and realized how you did it, cool I managed just today to climb only 1 platform (which goes right on the roof after the cranes). It's unrealistic from there, sad
@@SXoma900tm it is much harder these days, and some of the comments are made at different points in time when I either failed doing this or I had another way of doing it or when the cyberware worked differently etc xD I haven't done it personally on the latest patch however I pinned a comment of a guy who did it, if that helps you I am glad this video was good enough to so many people :)
yeah, it cant be done, with charged jump you can get to like third platform but thats it, double jump, guts, charged jump.... nothing gets you enough height... hence no newer vids on how to do it.

not really, I have to hit the right timing, I normal jump once before I activate the charge jump mid air and I press right click a few times to get closer to the edge
How can you doore than two jumps before touching the ground? I finished the game twice and now I just like to parkour on buildings and try to go above invisible walls to reach unfinished areas, having more than two jumps is really useful

...it is the cyberware called "reinforced ankles " you can get it from Fingers the epic version ( it is more than a double jump, it is more like a charged jump), it has changed with the new patch so it doesn't work like it used to . Previously you could've used it the following way: Jump once and activate it mid air and then press right click to get a little boost, I didn't have any mods installed to help me parkour
@DefaultDanielS Ah OK. I saw the tendons one and the ankles one. One was double, the other charged. And that's how I've seen them in videos. This looks like you jumped, then 3 more times you jumped again (hence quad jump). But if it's changed now guess it doesn't matter anyway.

no way... ofc fortified ankles got nerfed, cause my character cannot jump like that even if I take all of the speed first... let alone jumping on the spot and pressing forward afterwards...
it was nerfed into oblivion, I complained a bunch of times because this change is useless, the cyberware was extremely fun, you can try getting the reward the way it was intended or try other cyberware in combination with the one you are using or use rebecca s shotgun to boost yourself in the air( this one kind of works but is extremely hard)

no.. I am using the other legs the charge jump(reinforced ankles epic version from Fingers) probably the "boosted legs" you are thinking about but keep in mind that after the new patch they work differently
Man this game has such potential to have a parkour system, but CDPR's spray-and-pray game designing left us with this clumsy ahh double jumping mechanic
How are you having a slowfall like effect. Or how you are gliding after jumping. Also, there's a triple jump? It looks like you were able to do more than a double jump.
Man I was just in this area the other day and I was gonna try parkouring up the arasaka tower from that construction zone but I didn’t wanna die from falling 😅 bro, damm, how did you get your gravity so low?
One tip I can give you is to make a save up there. I will probably post a tutorial video next week explaining what I did because there were other people asking me about it or thinking that I used some kind of mods. I will try to explain here because I don't want to make you wait for a video. Basically there is this stat I wasn't aware of related to your speed, that stat has to be above 5 for you to be able to run faster because that is what you need to have momentum when you jump, and while you jump you have to activate the epic fortified ankle (charge jump) mid air and then press right click a few times (right click boosts you a little bit forward) and then you will be able to reach the ledge. (you raise the speed stat by raising the reflex skill or there is this clothing mod called zero drag and you need a lot of them installed on your clothes this will also raise the speed)
Just crank up your speed with the clothing mods, epic Zero Drags. At 12 reflex and 6 of them stacked I was at 6 speed which should be sufficient. At same 12 reflex and 18 of them stacked I had 9 speed and I didnt even need to rightclick the jump, not even close. (I just jumped it now)
@@bassicsmusic based on my knowledge you can't craft that mod or at least I have never seen a crafting spec. You can get many of them at clothing shops if you skip days, check the inventory of the shop buy any existing mods, skip a day and repeat
Update, still works as of 2.01 Stand on the crane as shown in vid Dash into double jump and dash again However it is much more finicky with movement and allows less errors on the tower climb
where do you mean ? after you jump from the crane on the building you can't jump on the little balcony steps ? is your character not grabbing the ledge or something ? try going one by one and jump once while standing in the same place and then activate the charge jump to jump higher
1 minute 19 second - I could not jump. I won after two hours of trying. If you press the right mouse button many times, then V jumps higher. Thank you for the video!
@@amarokmercy8396 GOOD JOB, you can jump once and press +hold space again(to activate charge jump) and then when you are at the right height you can click right click like you said it does help you get higher
probably in combination with other cyberware or if you have enough time to waste and make perfect jumps otherwise I don't see it, at least I couldn't make it to the top, I jumped on 2 or 3 steps and then I started losing my mind so I have to find another way or combination of cyberware to get up there easier
this is how this particular cyberware used to work, I explained how to use it back then in 50 different comments. It is reinforced ankles cyberware epic version from Fingers it is also called charge jump and after jumping once you could activate it and then press right click to boost yourself a little bit further but now you can't do the little boost anymore
no I am not using any mods, I used only the cyberware which it seems you don't know how to use, don't worry I will probably release a video explaining how to do it
That's amazing but the loot is shit though. After all that work and ingenuity, there's only 2 EPIC mods and weapons? Not even legendary? That's just insulting. If you're going to hide something where very few will reach, at least make it worth their while. Reward them instead of disappointing them. I've found loot in lots of obscure places but it just turns out to be common or junk. But I still love the game. I can feel the game brimming with so much potential.
Well Done: Here is some loot so when you reach this spot you will feel appreciated. If there wasn't any loot people would complain about it so there is that, you can't have anything super powerful for this easy/medium parkour
I used the epic fortified ankles previous to the new patch you could jump once and then you could activate it mid air and then with right click give yourself some boosts

I am honest, this is charge jump, it is considerably harder after the new patch but still doable, I don't have any mods installed, I installed cyber engine tweaks and freefly(to travel faster) during 1.5 and after patch 1.52 the mods stopped working + like I already stated a million times you have to know how to use the cyberware

There is a lot of boxes with high value loot in areas you cannot access without leg upgrades and good parkour.

Didn't really have much trouble unless I held space for the first jump instead of double jumping. I've nothing to compare it to though as I held off buying the game until last month. Did they change the Epic Fortified Ankles? I seen that they properly nerfed armor and mods at some point.

The general jump-nerf they did, really bugged me! Nice find though! An actual secret, as opposed to most CBP-videos, that just show regular-ass missions and rewards, and just hope people missed it simply by not playing properly.

@@zegh8578 the dev added that because you can get up there from the arasaka compound using an AV, after speaking to the dev responsible for this he told me that it was mostly done as a way to get down
Anyone else did this without even knowing what you would find. There was a glitch i used, run backwards off a ledge and you time it right it would send you flying, it's doesn't work anymore, if anyone finds another way to do it let me know
With how much it takes to get into these well hidden areas the least they could do is make the loot worth it when you finally get there.
As it stands there's basically zero reward for finding these areas.
it was added for people who used the av fromthe arasaka complex to get up there, what I did here was more of a way to get down for them
And then you just reload til legendary.
I haven't tried, it might be possible though I wasn't really interested in this loot being legendary

there are 2 f5 saves needed here, on top of the crane and on top of the building before doing that series of jumps but nowadays I save after every jump considering how hard this parkour became

keep in mind that I did this before the new patch, I used the reinforced ankles cyberware from fingers (epic version), I jumped once and then I activated the cyberware mid air and then with right click I gave myself a little boost (now this isn't possible and you can't jump as high after the new update because they changed the cyberware)

it is much harder these days, and some of the comments are made at different points in time when I either failed doing this or I had another way of doing it or when the cyberware worked differently etc xD
I haven't done it personally on the latest patch however I pinned a comment of a guy who did it, if that helps you

yeah, it cant be done, with charged jump you can get to like third platform but thats it, double jump, guts, charged jump.... nothing gets you enough height... hence no newer vids on how to do it.

not really, I have to hit the right timing, I normal jump once before I activate the charge jump mid air and I press right click a few times to get closer to the edge
oh yeah you have to hold space when you have charge jump activated but you probably knew that already

How can you doore than two jumps before touching the ground? I finished the game twice and now I just like to parkour on buildings and try to go above invisible walls to reach unfinished areas, having more than two jumps is really useful

...it is the cyberware called "reinforced ankles " you can get it from Fingers the epic version ( it is more than a double jump, it is more like a charged jump), it has changed with the new patch so it doesn't work like it used to . Previously you could've used it the following way: Jump once and activate it mid air and then press right click to get a little boost, I didn't have any mods installed to help me parkour
@DefaultDanielS Ah OK. I saw the tendons one and the ankles one. One was double, the other charged. And that's how I've seen them in videos. This looks like you jumped, then 3 more times you jumped again (hence quad jump). But if it's changed now guess it doesn't matter anyway.
@@jookm yeah well that is why I added "before patch 1.5" in the title, I usually test every parkour I posted on the channel after every new patch and after this one I wasn't able to do it because the cyberware was changed
no way... ofc fortified ankles got nerfed, cause my character cannot jump like that even if I take all of the speed first... let alone jumping on the spot and pressing forward afterwards...
it was nerfed into oblivion, I complained a bunch of times because this change is useless, the cyberware was extremely fun, you can try getting the reward the way it was intended or try other cyberware in combination with the one you are using or use rebecca s shotgun to boost yourself in the air( this one kind of works but is extremely hard)

no.. I am using the other legs the charge jump(reinforced ankles epic version from Fingers) probably the "boosted legs" you are thinking about but keep in mind that after the new patch they work differently

Man I was just in this area the other day and I was gonna try parkouring up the arasaka tower from that construction zone but I didn’t wanna die from falling 😅 bro, damm, how did you get your gravity so low?
One tip I can give you is to make a save up there.
I will probably post a tutorial video next week explaining what I did because there were other people asking me about it or thinking that I used some kind of mods. I will try to explain here because I don't want to make you wait for a video.
Basically there is this stat I wasn't aware of related to your speed, that stat has to be above 5 for you to be able to run faster because that is what you need to have momentum when you jump, and while you jump you have to activate the epic fortified ankle (charge jump) mid air and then press right click a few times (right click boosts you a little bit forward) and then you will be able to reach the ledge. (you raise the speed stat by raising the reflex skill or there is this clothing mod called zero drag and you need a lot of them installed on your clothes this will also raise the speed)
Just crank up your speed with the clothing mods, epic Zero Drags. At 12 reflex and 6 of them stacked I was at 6 speed which should be sufficient. At same 12 reflex and 18 of them stacked I had 9 speed and I didnt even need to rightclick the jump, not even close. (I just jumped it now)

@@bassicsmusic based on my knowledge you can't craft that mod or at least I have never seen a crafting spec. You can get many of them at clothing shops if you skip days, check the inventory of the shop buy any existing mods, skip a day and repeat

Stand on the crane as shown in vid
Dash into double jump and dash again
However it is much more finicky with movement and allows less errors on the tower climb

Figured out how to jump far. I jumped to the Arasaka building, but I can't jump onto the first balcony(
where do you mean ? after you jump from the crane on the building you can't jump on the little balcony steps ? is your character not grabbing the ledge or something ? try going one by one and jump once while standing in the same place and then activate the charge jump to jump higher
1 minute 19 second - I could not jump.
I won after two hours of trying. If you press the right mouse button many times, then V jumps higher. Thank you for the video!

probably in combination with other cyberware or if you have enough time to waste and make perfect jumps otherwise I don't see it, at least I couldn't make it to the top, I jumped on 2 or 3 steps and then I started losing my mind so I have to find another way or combination of cyberware to get up there easier

It is reinforced ankles cyberware epic version from Fingers it is also called charge jump and after jumping once you could activate it and then press right click to boost yourself a little bit further but now you can't do the little boost anymore

That's amazing but the loot is shit though. After all that work and ingenuity, there's only 2 EPIC mods and weapons? Not even legendary? That's just insulting. If you're going to hide something where very few will reach, at least make it worth their while. Reward them instead of disappointing them. I've found loot in lots of obscure places but it just turns out to be common or junk. But I still love the game. I can feel the game brimming with so much potential.

I am honest, this is charge jump, it is considerably harder after the new patch but still doable, I don't have any mods installed, I installed cyber engine tweaks and freefly(to travel faster) during 1.5 and after patch 1.52 the mods stopped working + like I already stated a million times you have to know how to use the cyberware
