I think I posted this in every clip..but Susan Haskell is just in a league of her own. She is an amazing actress. This story wouldn't have worked with out her.
It added such a great twist to the story though. Since Marty/Todd et al were still fairly new to the canvas at this point, and Powell was a Buchanan but no one really cared about him! Having Kevin, and hence the Buchanans, involved, made it much more interesting!
They needed kevin at first b/c Susan hbs rh sm as viki long lost cousin weren't enough. Once it caught fire during the trial they didn't need kevin anymore or viki asa etc. Nora Marty todd were locks for emmys & sean m as powell was fantastic but howarth of course dominated
Poor Kevin, he's just trying to be nice and (a) He has no idea why Marty's screaming at him, and (b) Getting the sweater dry cleaned makes it look like he's trying to cover up and trying to give it back to her makes it look like he's harassing her.
I haven't seen this in 27 years. It still stands up. Great storytelling.
Poor Marty. SH does an excellent job of portraying Marty's anguish and despair in these scenes.

Powell was a Lord, not a Buchanan, but he was interesting.

Kevin Did Not Rape Marty. The Ones Who Really Gang Raped Her Was Todd Manning, Zackary Rose & Powell The 3rd.
