By the way, that mountain was incredible. That’s perfect scenery if you ask me. My daughter and I have flights booked to Inverness in August…1 week. And a car rental. But no itinerary planned yet. If you could pick 2 or 3 places from which to base camp…a little less touristy, and more space to roam, where would you suggest I research?
I never comment on videos but I have just tried to watch this video while sitting quietly completing a watercolour dot card and at only a few minutes in have realised that is impossible…I have put everything away and started the video over again as the cinematography and your photographs are so stunning and fill every second of this video I can’t bear to miss a single second! My partner's family is from about half way up the coast, in Härnösand, and my parents are originally from the far north, about where the Baltic Sea ends. I really, really hope to catch one of those epic auroras someday! It's one of those things I truly dream of experiencing in my lifetime! 🤩 A part of me wouldn't mind living further north to experience it every year, especially as I also love snow and freezing temperatures, but other things are pulling me/us south. I hope they will send you some gouache! I suggested they should! Can't think of anyone better to try them out! ☺️

I’m slowly getting over my fear of heights but it still gets me sometimes! Usually it’s the going up/down part on steep rocks I can’t stand.

Agreed! For years I’ve been texting him photos of all the beautiful places I go while he was at his (old) work. Not that I was always lonely but I just wanted to SHARE the experience with someone.

They’re very rare where I live in Sweden, I’ve only seen a hint of them once. Hope to luck out during a visit to my partners family further north during the winter at some point.

I was having an email conversation with them and maaay have mentioned you being brilliant and that you were talking about how good their gouache is in your review video, and also that there isn’t a whole lot of info out there about their gouache. I have no idea if anything will come of it, but anyways. 😊

@@sarahinscotland Haha, I'm also jealous! 😅 Yes, fairly, I'm in Stockholm as of now. ☺️ Might move further south in the future. My partner's family is from about half way up the coast, in Härnösand, and my parents are originally from the far north, about where the Baltic Sea ends. I really, really hope to catch one of those epic auroras someday! It's one of those things I truly dream of experiencing in my lifetime! 🤩 A part of me wouldn't mind living further north to experience it every year, especially as I also love snow and freezing temperatures, but other things are pulling me/us south.
I hope they will send you some gouache! I suggested they should! Can't think of anyone better to try them out! ☺️
