Hung up opened The Grammys and everyone was talking about it the next day. It’s an amazing performance! “Sorry” is the part 2 follow up video . A great era. So much fun Thank You. 🩷🩷
To create another signature song at this stage of her career that became number 1 in every country in the world (except the USA) is a phenomenal accomplishment.
The memories from that era! We would go to clubs and roll our hands like they do in the end of the video and the DJ just knew we were requesting them to play Hung Up!
Hi Emily and Brenda, I'm from Brazil and a fan of your channel for a long time and I've been following this beautiful journey through the career of our queen Madonna. I never commented on anything on the videos but this time I felt like I should. In 2005 I had a difficult phase in my life and when Madonna started the Confessions On A Dance Floor era I was overcome by a lot of joy and happiness. Madonna in interviews said that after the American Life era she wanted to bring joy and make the whole world dance and so she saved me once again. Now unfortunately I'm going through another very sad phase and seeing the video of you entering this enlightened era of Madonna brought back memories of those days and now Madonna has come to save me again through her videos that I love watching so much, I'm truly grateful for you are helping me to be happier. I hope you have fun and dance a lot on the dance floor of our Dancing Queen Madonna. 😘❤️🌹
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this beautiful comment - We're incredibly happy that you're here on this journey with us! ❤️❤️ And we're so grateful that we can play a small role in making you feel happier during this sad time. Just know that we're sending the biggest hugs and so much love your way!❤️😘
She looked like a porcelain doll in this video! 😍 Absolutely gorgeous! ❤️ Great song, great era and an amazing tour to come! You guys are in for a treat. 🥰🥰
The making of hung up is a great one to watch also. This era just has everything, including the best tour that ever existed. I had the pleasure to be there and my brain didn't know how to process it all. Being a fan from the beginning, I was even shocked at the strenous activity, heart and soul she put into it. Especially after her horse riding accident that broke her down. Mind blowing. Can't wait for you to hear Get Together. A pop masterpiece. Welcome to Confessions!!
My only problem with this “era” is that it could have had better single choices and don’t get me started on the Get Together video because that’s my favorite song on that album and the video was just an insult to my intelligence.

I love the aesthetics of this album, the colors, the clothes, and she looks so beautiful and pretty in this video, for me this is one of her most beautiful characters, an icon look.
As soon as I saw this I thought “wow! We’re already in confessions era” part of the journey?!? Oh wait this was 20 years ago! Still a long way to go and so much to see 😮💨
This was right after her recovery of her accident where she suffered three cracked ribs, a broken collar bone and a broken hand. Absolutely amazing and strong woman. One of her best videos. Love the storyline and the Saturday Night Fever and John Travolta reference. It all started in Los Angeles and then in London where she joined the party with her dancers. Great reaction ladies, wait till you see the Confessions Tour and this performance!!!
It amazes me that people have no concept how hard the life of a dancer is on the body. How people don’t talk about her as a great dance. Besides the horse she has to have sustained great injuries on so many demanding tours not to mention the rehearsals and the training she did to even be able to do the tours. And year after year your after tour and people still just talk about how she looks and surgeries. Michael, Prince and Whitney’s lives included great suffering and here Madonna is the last woman standing and they want her to just stop? They want to critique her trying to maintain a presentable look in an industry that already doesn’t value her work or women in music in general? The media still uses the same rotted pictures of her where her face is swollen and healing and she is at her worst style wise as if she hasn’t presented so much great looks and work not to mention she’s healed and she’s looking pretty good and still touring and moving months after she faced death down and won? When she is gone I don’t want to hear the Johnny come latelys trying to praise her and say what a legend she was. They should be groveling at her feet NOW like the peasants they are 😂
Thank you so much! ❤️❤️ "This was right after her recovery of her accident where she suffered three cracked ribs, a broken collar bone and a broken hand. Absolutely amazing and strong woman." Incredible! She was (obviously) in great physical condition to bounce back so well after an accident like that. So glad she was okay!! Big hugs to you! ❤️
This was one of the great eras of Madonna's career. I was 34 and living in Atlanta when this album dropped. I worked in a barber shop and this video aired a lot on the TVs in the shop. It was so thrilling! The teenager who swept up the hair in the shop said, "Yeah, I guess Madonna looks good to be so old." I said, "Tom, don't you ever call Madonna old " 😂 So much anticipation leading up to this album. Tower Records had midnight releases, so I was there at midnight when the album dropped. They had a giant poster, the album was blasting, everyone got free stickers and buttons and postcards (I still have them. The Madonna button is a disco ball.) People, mostly guys, were lined up across the store. I remember a woman standing behind me said, "Are all these gay guys here for Madonna?" 😂 Then as I was leaving, people were blasting "Hung Up" in their cars in the parking lot.
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing those wonderful memories with us (and thank you for scolding that teenager 😂)! ❤️❤️ So cool that you still have the items from the event (not at all surprised that the button was a disco ball!). Bet the whole experience was so much fun. 🎉🪩 Big hugs to you! ❤️
🎊CONFESSIONS 🎉 We’ve all been waiting for this! The first two singles of this album are beyond epic, and my favorites. I can’t wait for you to hear the song Sorry!! It’s next. Did you notice Cloud in the video? I love that dancer! There are several live performances of Hung Up, and I like them all, so pick what you like. 😉 In the summer of 2005, Madonna suffered a tremendous fall from her horse, breaking several ribs, and I believe her collarbone. She is still fresh off from that injury in this video, not like you can tell by her moves. She even includes the x-rays on the screens during the tour. I also agree this is peak Madonna. Many will say BAT, but I think 2005 to 2015 provided some of her best music, and also her best tours. A while back I mentioned that whenever you see a disco ball 🪩 on stage with Madonna, amazing things are about to happen. Wait. The disco flavour of this album is so incredible. She has this ABBA sample, and also from the likes of Donna Summer, and the Trammps. Very excited for your next video. Have a fabulous day. ♥️😮
Yay!! We're finally in the Confessions era! 🎉❤️❤️ "Did you notice Cloud in the video? I love that dancer! " Yes! We had to watch it twice to be sure it was him (we love him too!). "In the summer of 2005, Madonna suffered a tremendous fall from her horse, breaking several ribs, and I believe her collarbone. She is still fresh off from that injury in this video, not like you can tell by her moves. She even includes the x-rays on the screens during the tour." Incredible!! And so wild that she included the x-rays on the tour! "A while back I mentioned that whenever you see a disco ball 🪩 on stage with Madonna, amazing things are about to happen. Wait." Now we're even more excited!! 🎉🪩 Have a wonderful evening - Much love to you! ❤️
DURANTE SUA CARREIRA MADONNA TEVE O PLANETA AOS SEUS PÉS EM 2 MOMENTOS..O PRIMEIRO FOI FROZEN EM 1998 E O SEGUND FOI HUNG UP EM 2005. OS HATERS NÃO TIVERAM OUTRA SAÍDA A NÃO SER REVERENCIAR A MAIOR ARTISTA POP DA HISTÓRIA DA MÚSICA.. A ALEGRIA E FELICIDADE DE VOCÊS É CONTAGIANTE!!!! ❤❤

Aww, thank you so much! ❤️❤️ We're really excited to see this tour (and the live performances too!). Can't believe we're finally at Confessions! 🎉🪩 Much love to you! ❤️
So happy you ladies are getting to Confessions... I've been in NYC for wor this week so I'm late on this reaction. Love it! She referencing the 70s disco scene and Travolta - Saturday Night Fever era both in this video and the tour. For me this was madonna at her very best.
I remember vividly when this song came out, video started displaying in MTV charts and rapidly reaching number 1 here in Mexico. It was love at first sight, but the thing that shock me the most was that the Madonna, that big artist from the far 80's was having her moment again in current mainstream pop scene, I was like woow, love this. Of course I knew who she was and even liked some previous singles, but it was Hung up the moment when she hit me with all her power and I fell in love with her. I understood her longevity and endless artistic reinvention, it was just the beginning of a journey I'm still in. Her music is part of my life now, and that's the reason this song holds a special place in my heart.
Amazing reaction! This the best Madonna Era ever! In this era looks so stunning and perfecto! The entire album is perfect! Madonna is the best! Girls need react sorry video, is the continue of hung up’s video!
I’m so excited to see your reaction to this tour, it’s one of her greatest and so much fun, of course there’s a deeper emotion but on the whole it’s a party 💃🪩
This is one of her many "Renaissances"!! Just when haters, neysayers say she's over, she shuts their mouths! This song was #1 in 41 countries (a world record) around the world, except in the US, where she had just been banned from the radios for the second time. Anyway, the world is not the US, the world is bigger and it loves Madonna. Pd: You must react to the live performance at the MTV Europe Awards, it was the premiere of the song and it was amazing!
This was only like six weeks after she was thrown from a horse and broke eight bones! Can you imagine? I’m excited for y’all to watch this tour. It’s her best!
"This was only like six weeks after she was thrown from a horse and broke eight bones! Can you imagine?" It's incredible! We're so excited for the tour too - Can't wait! Big hugs to you ❤️❤️
I’ve been so excited to see your reaction to this song! ❤❤❤ One of the best Madonna songs ever I believe. The Confessions on a Dancefloor stage is Madonna at her prime❤
I remember so well when this one came out, I was living in Spain at that time and this song was unavoidable, it was everywhere. The rest of the album did pretty well too. In my opinion, if we consider the music, the visuals and the tour, this was everything I ever wanted to watch as a fan hehehe, pure gold.
"In my opinion, if we consider the music, the visuals and the tour, this was everything I ever wanted to watch as a fan hehehe, pure gold." Definitely think we're going to share your opinion on this era! ❤️❤️🪩
this video has a continuation...As an aside, the van she uses in the next video was the subject of an episode of "Pimp My ride" specially customized for Madonna. Glad to see you both again grrrls! :) hi from France!
One of my favorite Madonna jams and the Confessions tour is also one of my all-time favorites. Absolutely mind blowing with unforgettable opening!! Be sure and check out the opening performance of the 48th Grammy awards live performance of Hung Up. The animated band Gorillaz opens up and goes right into Madonna Hung Up. It is the first time Madonna performed it live and it was amazing.
Please, pretty please watch the European MTV awards. Best performance of this track, aside from the live tour. Better yet, compare it with the Grammy's opening... The Grammy performance is still very excellent and unique, featuring Gorillaz, but the European MTV award performance is bar none STELLAR. You can see the joy in her face the whole time.
As always, a beautiful reaction!! I’m so glad you enjoyed it even more since you experienced it at the Celebration Tour 💚 a suggestion that I know people will die to ask as well 😂: before getting to The Confessions Tour, you should react to the whole album first, since almost the entire album is in the tour’s setlist. The best part of this is that the “nonstop version” (which is the official one) is a genius twist and a magic ride through her endless creativity.. again ✨
I was waiting for both of your reactions to Hung Up. 💙 It was a top ten hit in the states, but it was a massive hit globally. I also agree about how great Madonna looks in the video. At the time, some commentators thought her outfit was a bit odd for her age 😅
Hello smiling girls!!! Welcome in confessions area. Hung up was played in France on radio NRJ for the first time, before all the others radio, I was in a hotel for work... and I went to my car, on the parking, for hearing the song in exclusivity..... and i heard .. time goes by so slowly.... I was impressive at the end!!! Hung up was number one in 57 countries.... but not in US.... never undestood why. Sorry is the next single and the video is a part 2 of hung up... It will be fun if you could have a discoball above you! 😂 during this confessions party!!! Thank for this very good moment. With hugs and love from your little frenchy ! 😊 ❤

Madonna did an interview in England on the Parkinson show that's worth looking at if our ladies and everyone else are interested. She looks just as beautiful in the video .
I was 12 when this came out and I got hooked, ever since then I became a huge Madonna fan 🥳❤️🙈 I saw her perform this song live for the first time last November at The Celebration tour and I felt like my life came to full circle haha 🪩
This was a big song at the time it hit number 1 in 41 countries and so did the album , she was in the Guinness records for it hitting number 1 in so many countries I’m not sure if it was beaten since, yet people still liked to say she’s not had a hit since the 80s . She was strong thru the 80s , 90s and 00s . Music a tough career to keep goin so long
PLEASE LADIES, if you react to only 1 Get Together video (there are 2), do the "European version" as listed on youtube. It's actually the one that was released everywhere. The other was an exclusive download for members of her official fan club. My favorite Hung Up performance is the Grammys one with Gorillaz. Beware the Wetten, dass one; it's lip synced. I'm so glad you're doing Confessions now, my favorite!
@@SLaccount I’m kind of hoping they review the live performance with the Gorillaz, because other live performances are too close to how it is done on the Confessions tour.
@@richardc8795 Yeah, that's the Grammys one. I'm hoping for that one too. It would also be nice if they watched from the beginning with Gorillaz. They could hear that the guitar when hologram Madonna comes out is actually the chorus of Feel Good Inc. That it wasn't just made for this performance; it just happens to fit perfectly with Hung Up. The video on Madonna's channel cuts out Feel Good Inc and they might choose that one. :(
To promote the album Confessions On A Dabceflooir she colaborated with Motorola Phones and a commercial was released. In the commercial, there are many singsrs and celebrities, one by one they get inro a telephone cabin (old style). She was still healing fron the fall she had and shes wearing a cast. You shoukd check it
Can’t wait for you to react to her Coachella performance and what people say it’s the best hung up performance at the Grammys, the confessions tour, the whole album (btw there 2 versions of it the non stop remix which is the physical album and the edit songs that is the streaming edit) plus, on the confessions tour on the third song the back video are the x ray images of her broken bones, this is a fan favorite era and soon you’ll find out why, can’t wait for those reactions.
Oh my, Love it , I think it’s all about Madonna bringing together her/the USA n the UK cultures, fusing it all together to create something new like marriage birthing something completely unique yet filled with so much nostalgia, my Favourite era Thanks again guys, it’s gonna be fun 🥳🥳🥰🥳👊🏼
Thank you for being here! ❤️❤️ "I think it’s all about Madonna bringing together her/the USA n the UK cultures, fusing it all together to create something new like marriage birthing something completely unique yet filled with so much nostalgia" Love that description! ❤️
'Confessions'! Yay! This song (& album) is a tribute to the late-70s Disco era with amazing songs that re-invent/modernize the disco genre for the 2000s. In the opening scene, Madonna salutes the disco film 'Saturday Night Fever' (starring John Travolta) by wearing pink tights which were reminiscent of what the female lead wore in the dance studio scenes. It's a good movie and period piece of the times and nightlife in NY. Oh, and Madonna filmed this video while still recovering from an equestrian fall that had left her with a broken collar bone, broken ribs, and shoulder/shoulder blade fracture (?).
"This song (& album) is a tribute to the late-70s Disco era with amazing songs that re-invent/modernize the disco genre for the 2000s." Can't wait to hear the rest! ❤️❤️🪩 "Oh, and Madonna filmed this video while still recovering from an equestrian fall that had left her with a broken collar bone, broken ribs, and shoulder/shoulder blade fracture (?)" Incredible (And we were completely impressed without even knowing that)!
Did y'all notice she recreated the album cover after the musical break (during the trippy section when she's humping the boombox and has the disco ball lights on her)? She also brings this music video to life and recreates it during The Confessions Tour ❤
"Did y'all notice she recreated the album cover after the musical break (during the trippy section when she's humping the boombox and has the disco ball lights on her)?" We didn't notice that - So cool! Can't wait to see this on the Confessions Tour too! ❤️❤️
This was the ONLY time that ABBA allowed someone to sample their music. They really liked what she did with it. This is one of her best albums hands down!!
Since people mentioned her broken bones/arm, check out "Madonna’s iChat with Steve Jobs" and "Madonna - Motorola Commercial 2005." She shot it just 15 days after falling her horse. You can hear Hung Up in a version without ABBA’s sample because they hadn’t reached an agreement yet
I absolutely love this video for Hung Up and Sorry. The high energy dancing. Krump dancing, Freerunning, and parkour. Madonna looked fantastic here. Her dancers look great. Best of the best! Gimmie gimmie incorporated into this is brilliant! The Confessions era is peak Madonna. This could be my favorite tour as well that I’ve seen. Fun fact this was number #1 on TRL for a long time. She was on there too! 🤣🤣

When the video came out and my sister was little, she always danced in front of the TV to this song. She said she wanted to dress like the girl in the video 🩷. My sister was 4 years old at the time, she is now 21.
"Hung Up" was a worldwide commercial success, peaking at number one in charts of 41 countries and earning a place in the 2007 Guinness Book of World Records, as the song topping the charts in most countries.[50] The song has sold over 5 million copies worldwide.[51] In the United States, "Hung Up" debuted at twenty on the Billboard Hot 100 on the issue dated November 5, 2005. It became her highest opening position since "Ray of Light" entered the chart at five in 1998. The same week the song entered the Hot Digital Songs chart at number six and became the highest debuting single of the week on the Pop 100 Airplay, where it debuted at number 38.[52] On the issue dated December 3, 2005, the song reached a peak of number seven on the Billboard Hot 100, jumping from number 14 from previous week.
One of the most amazing things about Madonna is that she can adapt very well in the kind of music that is dominating on every decade she's been active. I mean, in the 80s she dominated Pop music, in the 90s she was still doing Pop music but she transitioned to practically electronic and dance music by the end of the decade and she was the best still, and then in the 2000s she was still doing great pop and dance electronic music. 🙂
"One of the most amazing things about Madonna is that she can adapt very well in the kind of music that is dominating on every decade she's been active." Very true! ❤️❤️
hello in Madonna - Making of Hung up in addition to seeing the making of the video Madonna talks about the difficulties she had shooting the video because of her fall from the horse
My niece was four years old at the time and she made me play this song over and over 😂 this ABBA sampling combined with The Queen’s amazing touch transcends generations 💯
Glad you got this reaction video through w/o Y/T blocking it. Let the journey resume, yay!🎉 This first single and video release from her Confessions album signaled her return to her pop dance roots-she embraced it with exuberance and energy-in contrast to the serious, at times angry mood of American Life. In the choreo she did here with her dancers, she incorporated elements of “parkour”-an athletic training discipline or sport involving skillful and even artistic acrobatic movements without the use of equipment. Her main collaborator for this album was Stuart Price-who is an EDM DJ and record producer based in London who had worked with her in her Music and American Life albums, including her Re-Invention tour. She was age 47 at the time of this album/singles/videos-and as you noted, in remarkable shape and appeal. Her flexibility and dance moves here make it all the more amazing considering just months earlier she suffered a fall riding a horse in her country estate sustaining broken bones and fractures. ❤ and share in your awed and joyful reaction here-thank you.😊
Aww, thank you so much! ❤️❤️🎉🪩 "She was age 47 at the time of this album/singles/videos-and as you noted, in remarkable shape and appeal. Hi ladies! In this video some of the dancers will perform with her in the Confessions Tour; in fact there are some that were also in the Reinvention Tour (the guy in the fisher shop is that guy who amazed you dancing in the Hollywood break in last tour). I tell this because this will be (the dancing and dancers) even better than before. Take a look if possible to the Gorillaz + Madonna performance in MTV awards, is also a “must” watch. Lots of love from Barcelona! ❤️🙏
Can't wait to see the dancers again in the Confessions tour (although it's hard to imagine them being even better than before!)! And thank you for the recommendation - That performance sounds great! Big hugs and much love to you! ❤️❤️
Las dos me caen muy bien, me gusta la tranquilidad con que reaccionan a los vídeos, pero saben que en algún momento van a tener que hacer alguna coreografía, vayan escogiendo canción y look. Aquí las esperamos. 😊
Let the Confessions era begin!!!🥳
Everyone stay calm, IT'S HAPPENIIIIIING!

"This was right after her recovery of her accident where she suffered three cracked ribs, a broken collar bone and a broken hand. Absolutely amazing and strong woman."
Incredible! She was (obviously) in great physical condition to bounce back so well after an accident like that. So glad she was okay!!
Big hugs to you! ❤️
A new era!!!
Yay!! 🎉❤️❤️
😁👍
Wow! Thank you so much for sharing those wonderful memories with us (and thank you for scolding that teenager 😂)! ❤️❤️
So cool that you still have the items from the event (not at all surprised that the button was a disco ball!). Bet the whole experience was so much fun. 🎉🪩
Big hugs to you! ❤️
Finally! Hung up is probably the most iconic Madonna song amongst the younger generation. Loved the reaction!
Aww, thank you so much! ❤️❤️ Big hugs to you!
Madonna number one ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️
i think Emily is gonna really like this era. So many pop and dance bops. The tour is one of her best for sure as well.
Most definitely! ❤️❤️
My favourite era! So much fun
The video for “Sorry” is a direct sequel to this video.
Can't wait to see it! ❤️❤️
🎊CONFESSIONS 🎉
We’ve all been waiting for this! The first two singles of this album are beyond epic, and my favorites. I can’t wait for you to hear the song Sorry!! It’s next.
Did you notice Cloud in the video? I love that dancer!
There are several live performances of Hung Up, and I like them all, so pick what you like. 😉
In the summer of 2005, Madonna suffered a tremendous fall from her horse, breaking several ribs, and I believe her collarbone.
"Did you notice Cloud in the video? I love that dancer! "
Yes! We had to watch it twice to be sure it was him (we love him too!).

This song was huuuuuuuuge worldwide. Inescapable, she ushered in dance pop again for the following decade; Katy and Gaga, etc.
Yep!

Kylie was doing that throughout the 2000s already

Aww, thank you! ❤️❤️ We're really looking forward to all of it!
So happy you ladies are getting to Confessions... I've been in NYC for wor this week so I'm late on this reaction. Love it! She referencing the 70s disco scene and Travolta - Saturday Night Fever era both in this video and the tour. For me this was madonna at her very best.
We're really loving this era so far! ❤️❤️
Hope you a wonderful time in NY - Big hugs!
Love this so much! Thank you for sharing your memories of this song with us. ❤️❤️ Big hugs to you!
Amazing reaction! This the best Madonna Era ever! In this era looks so stunning and perfecto! The entire album is perfect! Madonna is the best! Girls need react sorry video, is the continue of hung up’s video!

Yay!! 🎉❤️❤️
I’m so excited to see your reaction to this tour, it’s one of her greatest and so much fun, of course there’s a deeper emotion but on the whole it’s a party 💃🪩
We're incredibly excited for this tour too! ❤️❤️🪩🎉
"This is one of her many "Renaissances"!!"
And we're happy to be here for it! 🪩❤️❤️
Please react to the Grammy performance
This was only like six weeks after she was thrown from a horse and broke eight bones! Can you imagine? I’m excited for y’all to watch this tour. It’s her best!

"HUNG UP" WAS HUGE SUCCESS🎉
THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREAT REACTION LADIES ❤❤

Confessions album and tour are AMAZING! This song was such a monster hit worldwide. One of her best! Love it, and you ladies so much!
Aww, you're so sweet - Sending lots of love right back to you! ❤️❤️
Can't wait to hear the rest (and see the the tour!).
"In my opinion, if we consider the music, the visuals and the tour, this was everything I ever wanted to watch as a fan hehehe, pure gold."
Definitely think we're going to share your opinion on this era! ❤️❤️🪩
this video has a continuation...As an aside, the van she uses in the next video was the subject of an episode of "Pimp My ride" specially customized for Madonna. Glad to see you both again grrrls! :) hi from France!
Thank you for the info about the next video (and the van!)! Sending lots of love to you in France ❤️ Big hugs!
Getting closer and closer to the best tour ever!!! Wait until you see the opening! Please don't spoil it folks.
Can't wait to see it!! 🎉🪩❤️❤️
Dancing Queen !!! 👑💃
❤️❤️
One of my favorite Madonna jams and the Confessions tour is also one of my all-time favorites. Absolutely mind blowing with unforgettable opening!! Be sure and check out the opening performance of the 48th Grammy awards live performance of Hung Up. The animated band Gorillaz opens up and goes right into Madonna Hung Up. It is the first time Madonna performed it live and it was amazing.
Thank you for that suggestion! Looking forward to it! ❤️❤️
Thank you for the suggestion - Sounds great! ❤️❤️
She opened the mtv awards with this and the whole world was shocked ❤
Omg! I’m so excited for you to finally be in the confessions era!!! Girls get ready! Cause this party is just getting started 👌🎉😍

@@OurAnxiousReactions The best Madonna's Tour 😍😍
@@OurAnxiousReactions at the moment a perfect reaction would be Hung up at the 2006 Grammy Awards
The best part of this is that the “nonstop version” (which is the official one) is a genius twist and a magic ride through her endless creativity.. again ✨
Aww, thank you so much! ❤️❤️
And thank you for the album suggestion as well! Big hugs ❤️
Confessions on a Dancefloor is a masterpiece! Every song puts me in a trance. The Stuart Price production is unreal.
❤️❤️
I was waiting for both of your reactions to Hung Up. 💙
It was a top ten hit in the states, but it was a massive hit globally. I also agree about how great Madonna looks in the video. At the time, some commentators thought her outfit was a bit odd for her age
😅
❤️❤️ Big hugs to you!
And a tribute to Saturday Night Fever
Music Inferno SNF tribute blows my mind!!

❤️❤️
Madonna did an interview in England on the Parkinson show that's worth looking at if our ladies and everyone else are interested. She looks just as beautiful in the video .
Thank you for sharing that with us! ❤️❤️
I was 12 when this came out and I got hooked, ever since then I became a huge Madonna fan 🥳❤️🙈 I saw her perform this song live for the first time last November at The Celebration tour and I felt like my life came to full circle haha 🪩
That is a full circle moment! Love that! ❤️❤️
Confessions era was so much fun, the tour is my second favorite after BAT
Here Madonna is almost 50
Incredible! ❤️❤️
Music a tough career to keep goin so long
❤️❤️
Thank you for the suggestions! ❤️❤️ And we're very happy to be in the Confessions era too!🪩
To promote the album Confessions On A Dabceflooir she colaborated with Motorola Phones and a commercial was released. In the commercial, there are many singsrs and celebrities, one by one they get inro a telephone cabin (old style). She was still healing fron the fall she had and shes wearing a cast.
You shoukd check it
Thank you for sharing that with us - We'll definitely look it up! ❤️❤️
We're very excited for this era too - Lots of great things ahead! ❤️❤️🪩 Big hugs to you!
Oh my, Love it , I think it’s all about Madonna bringing together her/the USA n the UK cultures, fusing it all together to create something new like marriage birthing something completely unique yet filled with so much nostalgia, my Favourite era

Love that description!

Incredible (And we were completely impressed without even knowing that)!
Did y'all notice she recreated the album cover after the musical break (during the trippy section when she's humping the boombox and has the disco ball lights on her)? She also brings this music video to life and recreates it during The Confessions Tour ❤
@@MrDemimonde I love how she nails that spin at the end of the stage every single time, and lands in that position! So iconic!

This was the ONLY time that ABBA allowed someone to sample their music. They really liked what she did with it. This is one of her best albums hands down!!
Incorrect I'm afraid. It was the third occasion. The first being for The Fugees back in 1997.
❤️❤️
Since people mentioned her broken bones/arm, check out "Madonna’s iChat with Steve Jobs" and "Madonna - Motorola Commercial 2005." She shot it just 15 days after falling her horse. You can hear Hung Up in a version without ABBA’s sample because they hadn’t reached an agreement yet
Thank you for sharing the info about the commercial with us! ❤️❤️
When the video came out and my sister was little, she always danced in front of the TV to this song. She said she wanted to dress like the girl in the video 🩷. My sister was 4 years old at the time, she is now 21.
Aww, what an adorable story!! Love your sister's taste!❤️❤️🪩
Madonna loves all her dancers through all her eras, however, I'm sure she loved Daniel Cloud Campos like he was her own son

Thank you for sharing those stats with us! ❤️❤️ So cool that this song topped the charts in the most countries. 🪩🎉
"One of the most amazing things about Madonna is that she can adapt very well in the kind of music that is dominating on every decade she's been active."
Very true! ❤️❤️
In her photoshoots during this era she has red hair if you didn't know
This is the Madonna era where I first became a fan. High school for me.
❤️❤️
hello in Madonna - Making of Hung up in addition to seeing the making of the video Madonna talks about the difficulties she had shooting the video because of her fall from the horse
My niece was four years old at the time and she made me play this song over and over 😂 this ABBA sampling combined with The Queen’s amazing touch transcends generations 💯
A four year old who knows her music! 😂 ❤️❤️
Glad you got this reaction video through w/o Y/T blocking it. Let the journey resume, yay!🎉
This first single and video release from her Confessions album signaled her return to her pop dance roots-she embraced it with exuberance and energy-in contrast to the serious, at times angry mood of American Life.
