Busou Shinki is a lot like Frame Arms Girl. It came into reality in 2012 so Fame Arms Girl basically copy... I mean... influenced by Busou Shinki. The disappointing parts of the figure to me are that she only comes with one facial expression and the grenades launcher hand grips are too far apart to grip it with both hands. Other than that, the armored legs are way too heavy for the hip joints... the hip joints design looks a bit on the weak side and I was worry breaking them.

It's also worth noting these are more durable to play and tinker with than Frame arms Girls/Megami Device or any current model kit figures. Busou Shinki are far better in my opinion, earlier models didn't have bonus faces or tons of accessories, but they later redid that as it caught on in 2008-2009. I also like the Shinki hair as it's flexible and not sharp and brittle. IF koto/bandai ever took up these options vs cheap plastic and resin add ons, the newer kits would be worth their money.

Holy crap are these things still a discontinued line? Theyre what got me into frame arms since i saw frame arm girls as a substitute that also scratched my model building itch

The original release dates of these figures were Japanese Release Date: 7 September 2006
