(Seriously I know most Shrek fans don’t consider 4D to be canon since among other reasons it contradicts the opening of Shrek 2, but this has gotten even funnier…read: even more confusing now that the franchise is confirmed to have a Grim Reaper character)

Note to all theme park companies-
I shouldn’t be able to buy a dvd of your ride, awkwardly turn and toss in my chair, and basically recreate the whole experience of the ride expect without a 2 hour waiting line even in the express pass line.
To be fair to the ride, this is one of the few rides that has pretty much no waiting lines (probably the only reason anyone rode it).
Well thanks to this review and the overindulgence of the Memes I now no longer see Shrek as the big iconic childhood favorite of mine. And I don’t care what comes next year honestly. We are at a point where it’s not needed to put Disney in its place. Disney got over its lackluster age and has been winning boxoffices like crazy and has made dreamworks the exception rather than the rule nowadays.

I think I might be wrong about this, but regarding that David Geffen blurb at the beginning:
Even though Geffen had his Own film company, it was actually more of a film distribution company he had through Warner Bros. (Where, incidentally, he was a Vice Chairman for some time in the 70s). So, in a very roundabout way, Geffen "Worked" for WB independently during those years before co-starting Dreamworks. But unlike S & K, Geffen seemed to have split with WB mutually (I think).
Again, I could be totally wrong, but I don't think Geffen worked "for himself".
+PIX Promos & More Obviously the business dealings were complicated, they always are. The joke was more, the company he left actually bore his name. Which happens often - hell, in 2003 Roy E. Disney resigned from Disney - it's just funny from the perspective of a sheer outsider (which I most certainly am).

+WeirdoTZero Yeah, I'll admit it's not a great sign...the four highest grossing movies in Dreamworks Animation history are, literally, the four movies with Shrek in the title. Still, if Universal eventually expands Potter and builds a west coast Diagon Alley on the lower lot (which I've heard is pretty much inevitable at this point), Shrek will almost definitely close to make way for the Hogsmeade Hogwarts Express station. So there's that.

I went to universal with my father a while ago we say this ride and while in line an employee told us this was closing and at first I was a little sad because nostalgia but after riding it for the last time...yeah I'm glad it's closing. I'm not sure if the ride was actually better when I was younger or if the years has caused the chairs to stark jerking and making this wierd noise every time they move. Also while in the pre-show area they brought in the animatronic donkey thing and it made some really annoying joke commentary over the preshow! It even made a Facebook joke like you did!

Anywho, I discovered your videos back in March and I've been hoping I'd knock into you every single time I go to Universal Studios as I tend to visit the park a lot. If we're talking ALL Dreamworks movies, Galaxy Quest. If just animated...maybe the first Kung Fu Panda? I also love the first How To Train Your Dragon, and I think Megamind and Over The Hedge are both sorely underrated.

Probably Season 3 of SJWAC as a whole so far. You've really stepped up your game in terms of writing and editing lately! Aside from that, I'm kinda fond of the California Adventure and EPCOT videos.

+Generic Name Honestly, I'm kinda mixed on it. On the one hand, it's yet ANOTHER simulator in a park with far too many of 'em, and Fallon wouldn't be my first or even fifth choice for a late night host to get their own ride...but on the other hand, there's basically no way it'll be worse than Twister, the attraction it's replacing. And it'll be nice for the "New York" section of USF to actually have a ride, y'know, SET IN NEW YORK for the first time since Kongfrontation closed in 2002. Also, I do like it when actual COMEDY WRITERS - as opposed to Imagineers who think they're funny - write ride scripts, and at best, Fallon's show has a nice fun weirdness about it that could lend itself to a ride pretty well if done right. I remain cautiously optimistic.

I understand and respect that, but you could just solve the copyright detection by raising/lowering the song a semitone or two. It's not like your fans would go apeshit saying, "YOU'RE COMPROMISING THE INTEGRITY OF 'RAINDROPS KEEP FALLING ON MY HEAD'! I DON'T LIKE CHANGE! I'M NEVER WATCHING THIS SHOW AGAIN!"
In all honesty, I'd prefer the song sound a little weird in that scene and have you be able to monetize it than to have you do all this work for minimum revenue.

I went to universal recently and quietly sang the raindrops song throughout the day xD. I also quoted the esiner scene when my sister and I went into the Beast’s Library, clearly this is my favorite review.

1. I did see Al's Brain several times when it premiered at the Orange County Fair in 2009...but even ignoring the fact that it only lasted there two years and never spread further than another county fair in Washington state, AND isn't even on TH-cam (yet)...it's already pretty damn funny as-is. I'm not sure how I could improve on the comedy, and also since I've been a massive Weird Al fanboy for more than half my life, I don't think I could trust my opinion to be unbiased.
2. I've never been to Australia in my life and I would probably need another reason to justify the trip besides just "reviewing their theme parks," especially since the one you mentioned, from everything I've seen, looks like just a Six Flags with a different name.
Still, in both cases, never say never!
Do you ever get accosted by park security for shouting aggressively while shooting? Or do you just say, "I'm making a video for TH-cam" and they're like, "Yeah, alright" and let you run around screaming like a madman in front of park guests to your heart's content? How do you make this stuff? How long does it usually take? Why do people run from me?
***** I think a lot of his more "colorful" bits of dialogue where dubbed later on. From what I gather he speaks really softly during those parts and then dubs it in a regular voice.

Shrek The Third still wasn't that awful for me. I still got some laughs out of it. Even Forever After still had some potential. Puss In Boots is a spin-off movie and I enjoyed the heck out of that one since Puss became an icon in the other 3 Shrek movies following the first and also these movies were loosely based on a book by William Steig.

Well since Universal bought DreamWorks Animation, it makes sense to have Shrek 4D in the parks. But I did heard it shut down, which I don't mind. I found the ride real boring.

How did you do the ghost effect? And what did you use. I use adobe and can’t figure it out. I like the look of the ones here.
I use Adobe Premiere, and it took a bunch of effects on top of each other to achieve that. I couldn't tell you the exact settings without reopening the project, but basically I shot the footage of the ghosts against green screen, added a Chroma Key effect to get rid of the green (obviously), adjusted the Opacity to make them see-through, added a Color Balance effect to make them blue, and added several Drop Shadow effects to give them that glow around them.
