dont buy from this producer. forgot cable and chinsteaps, visor is crooked, mic is loose? the shop where i bought the helmet told me they were having problems with the supplier. grey shop has a better supplier i think (but not sure).
I got my Altyn from Grey Shop. I would recommend getting it, as it is one of the few helmets with a visor and built in radio headset. And, with it having the glass visor,,, window? it makes it better for airsoft.
Canadian Gopnik are you from Canada? Have you had any issues with ordering from grey shop? Recently ordered 6b13 killa vest with inserts and weighted training plates. Looking at buying altyn next, radio works? And it’s high quality?
@Jimmy Stevens I know FSB shops pricing is better and they seem good but besides buying a kenwood radio FSBshop includes all of the needed equipment to run the comms setup with the helmet? I’m not big on running comms so I have no idea what cable I would need to run from the radio into the back of the altyn to work the headset ptt and mic
@Jimmy Stevens okay and does the helmet from FSB shop already setup and would I need to buy the cable to use with a radio or after I buy the helmet (if I do) do I just need a radio
not that much it has 3.5mm sure but its kenwood also the speakers are 2.5mm also kenwood which isnt the same wiring as normal speaker and mic that uses 3.5mm or 2.5mm
im just saying to any one whos till watches this and wonders the Altyn helmet is an extremely safe helmet not comfy and surely over 3kg in weight but the armored steel is sure as hell protective enough to stop most rifle bullets
No this will maybe stop glancing shots from rifle rounds, a real altyn will at some ranges stop most pistol rounds, and help protect against shrapnel, and concussive blasts.
I’m gonna be real with you chief besides being able to say it’s real and the level of protect it offers would justify spending $300+ on a titanium+aramid helmet that gets uncomfortable when worn for long durations of time
Imagine using it as a gaming headset lmao
Keep it up! Need more russian gear replica reviews.

@Jimmy Stevens did the FSB Shop one come with everything needed except for the radio? Like did it come with the headset, PTT, and mic and cables?

what do i need to buy for the communication system?
The rest of the video should of just been him listening to the radio lol
Is this safe for airsoft? I think its the gearcraft replica but idk
The visor is steel, the glass of the visor is plexiglass, and the helmet is fiberglass. You can determine from that if it's safe or not.

Could I plug a normal American kenwood into the back?
What radio are you using with it?
A Kenwood
I have a weird question, can music from a phone be played with that?
I got a Baofeng UV-5R radio, which has the capability to play FM radio stations. As for plugging it into a phone? I am not certain.
maybe if you did some radio magic with wires idk tho
