Honestly, I would advise getting AliExpress replica over trying to make one with 3D printing, I had one from ali and now I have the FSB shop made altyn
If you've been looking for an altyn for years then you could've bought one already. A 3d printer, tools, and materials to make the altyn will all cost more than just buying a 160~ euro helmet if you dont have them all on hand.
i started this project almost two years ago. i was able to split the helmet into four pieces because of the size of my printer. and i was able to print both visor pieces in single prints respectively. finally finishing it up now! i found this video and will definitely use some of the methods you used! i think we used the exact same model too lol
The helmet Tachanka wears from R6 wears is a Maska-1 helmet. The difference is that the Maska-1 has a vision slit with no bullet resistent visor while the Altyn has one.
awesome. You could smother jb weld over the screws to make them look like rivets and for the interior I'd cannibalize a bike helmet with an adjustable headband and a chinstrap that goes over/under your chin instead of just under it. Would love if you released the stl files too :^)
As a person that getting into cosplaying more and more and is still doing stuff from cardboard and eva foam, i like to see that type of vídeo of diy prop making. If some day i got access to a 3d printer, my opportunitys would be almost unlimited.
the first how to video of yours i watched was the red dot sight , loved it so much that i wanted to make my own even though i dont have an airsoft gun , love the haircut btw
Very impressive i love all the time and effort you have put into this project and the final result is incredible! Now 1 more thing, can we get a face reveal?
Aks-74U. The Ak and 74 stand for the family... While the S stands for the ability to fold the stock and the U is actually what means that is a smaller size. By the way... Great Altyn. I will try to make a cardboard one using as a base my Mich 2000 and the glass visor... I will just make a cover for the glass visor and call it a cheap Altyn 😊
BRO, OMG YOU ARE SO GOOD AT THIS, MAN YOU GOTTA DO THIS STUFF AGAIN, I WOULD BUY THAT, plus ain't it cheaper technically, idk mate, but I would so buy that. lol it'd be weird but sometime try making like "juggernaut armor" like the really heavy armor vests that even have the part that protects from crotch shots lol

The fact that I’ve been researching to see how much titanium and other materials I need to make a real Altyn 😂
altyn weights around 4.5kg, sooo a lot
it would be extremely expensive bro, not the best idea
make a maska its out of steel so way way cheaper
Altyns arent entirely titanium, they have steel blend for the helm part, and a titanium face mask.
@@thatoneonion I was planning to make both maska and this versions mask

And if I’m not mistaken the maska-1 has worse protection on the helmet part than the Altyn
@@Glmaglone yeah because it only has a vision slit that is not bullet resistant glass
Thank you for sharing your knowledge
Captain obvious you literally just look at them and know this bud
@@Glmaglone i think it's better protection at cost of vision
Love the Altyn man! I'm currently working on my own, and this video really helped me. Keep up the good work!

May we get the blueprints you used?
The weird layers are caused by Z banding or layer shifting
Sup from the country whose lang is used in the name of the helmet.
For those who doesn't know, in Kazakhstan altyn translates as gold.
Do you still have the video from 2019
Ooookay, so what's that left side selector? :)
Bloody Brilliant
Do you reckon you could achieve similar looks with a plain motorcycle helmet (and just add visors?)
tbh If you are planing on upgrading it in the future, you could change the foam for the cheap Chinese helmet padding
wow your english is amazing
could you show us how you make the wood guns ?
El de carton tr quedó increíble, y el impreso en 3d te quedo medio grande, pero igual te quedo genial.

Just curious since I'm trying to build a STALKER kit right now, where did you get your Ghorka suit/smersh chest rig?
