game boy advance a link to the past, 10 years later because that game was in 2003 released in europe. then 2013 a link to the past 2 working title now its between worlds.

The story is really simple and uninteresting thematically. The dungeons and exploration aspects of the game are pretty good though

@@danielmcneary3947 To be fair, Zelda never really had a very complex storyline. It was always rather simple. I don't think the story was the reason most people loved (and love) Zelda, especially the older games. Link's Awakening is an exception though!

Why do people complain about graphics? 1. This is a portable device. 2. Zelda is not supposed to be extremely detailed (same) every time. 3. Games have never had the purpose for great visuals, they were made for fun, and if you want realism, step outside your front door.
Well said, for me its all about the story and gameplay, graphics are a non issue.

True. In a lot of games, the gameplay and story can be sooo awesome that it can out do the graphics factor, although it is nice to have epic graphics to go along with an epic game..

Looking back on this video, it brings me back memories. I remember wanting this game when it came out. I got this game yesterday with two other games and in my opinion, this is one of my favorite games of all time ! :)

This was my fist Zelda too! It got me very hooked on the franchise! And still my favorite Zelda to date!

I have not played many Zelda's and have only beaten one (Phantom Hourglass), but once I started this game up and played the beginning few minutes of it, I was captivated like with Phantom Hourglass, in fact, even more so. I can't express how amazing this game is so far. I haven't used my 3DS much up until purchasing this and Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, and I can definitely say, while I do also own a Vita, my 3DS has my heart at the moment lol.
This was probably my favorite Zelda game in the entire franchise, right next to Breath of the Wild.

I have so many good memories with this game. I got the limited edition ALBW 3DS for christmas that same year and absolutely lost it, it was like all those videos you see of kids getting a new console as a gift. It took me a while to really finish the game since I was still relatively young and couldn't really wrap my head around puzzle games, but when I went back to it and started over, it was a completely different experience. This game holds such a dear, dear place in my heart, I don't think any other Zelda will ever be able to top it. Not OoT, not BoTW, not even ToTK. ALBW will always be my number one.

Glad to see that the Power and Wisdom Pendants are no longer gonna be mixed up, That had to be one of the biggest complaints I've ever had over A Link to the Past, the typos in the dialogue boxes from when you first receive them after clearing the Desert Temple and Tower of Hera weren't corrected in the GBA port.
I just beat the game, one ending cutscene almost made me cry. When you beat the game, you'll know what cutscene I'm talking about. :)

I bought a 3ds xl online the other day mainly to play ocarina of time. The seller included this game so I’m currently playing it while the other game ships, i had never played it before and it’s super fun! I had no idea of the story line and i was tripping out when you could walk within walls!
A lot of people seem confused about timelines on this. Already it has been told that there are tons of link reincarnations through the zelda franchise. This game is set in the events after "A link to the past" supposedly a true sequel to that SNES classic

I bought this game a few days ago. I'm looking forward to playing it. I still love a link to the past, I beat it finally for the first time ever last Friday night. Zelda is one of the best franchises hands down.

Oh man! I just can't stop playing this trailer over and over again! Since i first saw it a few days ago, i just can't stop watching it AT LEAST ONCE every day! This game is going to be the best Zelda of them all so far! I can already tell! I mean from the old DS Zelda Games to this, the changes are astonishing! This should have been the Link in the latest Smash Bros. Game coming out, not ye olde toon link though i still like him too! I just can't wait to buy this game! It is going to be epic! Beautiful. I love A Link to the Past, favorite Zelda Game, SNES, fantastic console, cannot wait to get my hands on A Link Between Worlds. Just watching the trailer gave me shivers and nostalgia.

Just noticed on the other trailer when Link is being trapped inside the wall he is holding the Master Sword but in this trailer it seems like just a standard sword... Anyone know why?
The game was not yet complete. In the early trailers for Skyward Sword Link had the Hylian shield during the early temples. And he could do a Skyward Strike without raising his sword up.

The new antagonist reminds me of a mixture of Aghanim (A Link to the Past) and Ghirahim (Skyward Sword).
The most important Legend of Zelda since Link to the Past and Link's Awakening. Linearity is gone for good. This game boasts a better story and better gameplay than we've seen in over twenty years with a LoZ game.
Zelda Wii U is following in the footsteps of Link Between Worlds, and thank goodness it is. The original NES, Gameboy, and SNES Zelda games will always be the best.

Get into the game and play... not spend 10-20 minutes listening to dialog first. Let the story play out as I play. The Skyword Sword 2-hour tutorial was a slap in the face to anyone who grew up playing video games during the Golden Era.

It's so good. Oh my word... Skyward Sword was so awful. Underwhelming music. Plodding, boring dungeons. No secrets. Minimal exploration. It was awful.
But this game... Oh, Zelda-- I remember why I loved you. Amazing music. SECRETS GALORE! Tight controls. Fantastic puzzles and dungeons. Even secret mini-dungeons. Fun mini-games. Worthwhile side-quests. Great weapon upgrades. ALBW is Zelda done right.
Underwhelming music?! Skyward Sword!? Those things can be associated?! I had no idea..

This game is one of the few where is enjoyed A LOT more In a 3DS instead of a 2DS
I have enjoyed playing Zelda games since day one. This game is a well crafted game that introduces a new and very interesting game mechanic. Very few games out there are able to duplicate this. If you go out there and say this game is not any good, its OK your entitled to your opinion. But this is a great game and should be respected as one.(9.0 on most reviewers must mean something) Thank you Nintendo for showing some respect to your old school fans. That is why i stick around.

I love this game the dungeons mess with my mind and the bosses are easy until you really tick them of (you will know what i mean when u play it it is when the start flashing red)

Where's Goron City? And Gerudo Valley, and Kokiri Village, and Lost Woods? I know Zora's Domain is there! I just played the game a little late! It was 6/ 20/ 18
Lost Woods is in the game (same as it was in A Link to the Past). Those other places were never present in the world of A Link to the Past which is what this game is based on (it's a sequel). So it wouldn't make sense to randomly include places from other Zelda games.
This game was great! One of the best zelda games to date!
