I want to try one and max it so I was kinda torn between gathering and hunting but now I see that no matter what I pick I'll have to level cooking or alchemy at the same time as well right? Unless I just sell the raw materials directly.
Yeah essentially. Gathering and hunting gains material while cooking and alchemy transform it. You COULD sell it directly but I would cook them first since you're just selling it to people who will do the same and make money. Why let others make that profit when you can do it yourself :D
For sprinting reload, if you hold the sprint input first, then tap reload, and then forward. It works as well, but without needing to perfectly time any input.

I did some hunting years ago up to Arisan 9, but back then was too dull, so I stopped. I just found your hunting guide on TH-cam, and I am grateful for the amount of information you put in them! They are really great, and I just discovered I actually do enjoy hunting quite a lot; much more fun than it used to be ^^ Unlike all the other gathering life skills, this is actually fun! I got from Arisan 9 to Master 1 (nearly 2) in almost 3h, and I wasn't bored at all xD. I decided to level up hunting with the new snipper riffle in mind; snipping mobs will be great fun, haha! Yes, those pesky beetles are always suicidal, lol! Not so funny when I use the 100% BSR on them xD Anyways, thank you so much for these guides and all the best!
Honestly, time spent playing actively hunting is enough. I just sell everything and do not bother at all of the AFK or semi AFK thing. You can min max your profits ok, but "thinking" bdo 24h a day is unhealthy Xd I like to switchm hunting, centaurs, Orcs, Ghyfin ... AFK training or fishing. that Semi AFK thing is not good for me, not really focused on my game, not really focus on my other activity ...I like to have both feet into what I am doing at the moment.
The beauty of BDO is the different activities u can do and switch when u get bored, so I totally agree with you and see myself in ur statement. I rotate a lot in BDO activities and never get bored of the game

Not Pansy since it's unlikely he'll comment on such a new post on a now one month old video buuuut I want to chime in for fun. Silver is king in this game first and foremost and all progression is tied to it. An average long term goal to expect is something like "Get BIS in slot for all lifeskills/PVP, maybe get multiple Dream horses, get a fully upgraded ship". All of these will take 10s to hundreds of billions of silver (endcap gear will take trillions). To more directly address your question. Short term - Get full tri manos accessories and tet manos clothing for the lifeskills I do (cooking, hunting, processing) Get duo godyr main hand, off hand, vell's heart, three garmoth's heart, khan's Heart (life). At my current income generation this will take me 2-3 months. Less if I really go hard on it. More if things come up. Long term Hard cap pve gear(all pen black star weapons, pen distos, upgraded vells heart...you get the idea) All pen manos on the lifeskills I do including pen manos accessories Multiple(3, one of each) t9 horse 1 tier 10 horse Full tier 4 pets, specifically 5 tier 4 polar bears, 1 tier 4 hedgehog (currently have 1 tier 5 artic fox, multiple tier 3s, one tier 4 fishing pet). Super long term Splendid alchemy stone of destruction and life. As you can see this will take multiple trillions of silver to get and maybe multiple years, but that's kinda the fun of having a goal to work towards.
Bro there's something I've been researching 18 hours straight for and can't find an answer. Is it only HEIGHT that affects hunting and not the thickness (skinny, fat, etc)? Or thickness does affect hunting? Thanks in advance
It should be the "Height" of the character. The reason this is a thing is because of the animation of your character getting hit (?) which sometimes sends the matchlock underground. I do not think thickness would affect this animation

This is not the case. Multiple alchemy stones still works. Make sure you aren't trying to use multiple of the same type. Ie two destruction stones, two life stones.
Thumbnail is clickbait af though lol 500m-1b an hour 😂 plugging in like close to hard cap gear into the calcs will get you the lower range, most people aren’t going to be killing the default amount per hour that’s stated on the calc
Someone who's hardcap or close to it will surely exceed the default kills, no? The people I've been talking to who hunt a lot get significantly more kills than the sheet default. I think 1b at the very high end is realistic based on plugging in numbers into the calc. Whether it's helpful to put the absolute high end of profit into the title/thumbnail is another question :P

It's been a thing since release so I wouldnt worry about it
seems like they patched it to make multiple alchemy stone usage not working any more
This is not the case. Multiple alchemy stones still works. Make sure you aren't trying to use multiple of the same type. Ie two destruction stones, two life stones.
Is there any other use for crystals in hunting? If not it would be a no brainer to use crystals instead of elixirs to get crit and atk speed to max.
Yeah this guide came out before Crystal presets so now we get 5 atk/ crit without elixirs

U have to hit tab and be in idle stance to switch weapons

I'm sure you'd see a difference but I don't think it's mandatory to use an s tier class for hunting unless doing it as a main source of income

I made more than 500m/hr at 1200 mastery, I understated those numbers
