No need to ever apologize! I thoroughly enjoy our convos! ;) And absolutely, I get many of my best ideas from requests like yours, so please don't ever stop asking! I'll definitely keep this in mind for the future, I see a very interesting and beautiful look on the horizon! :) I don't own Silver Dusk so I can't give an accurate opinion on it, but the iridescent powders make SUPERB highlighters!
you can also mix in with your lotion and then bam, shimmer lotion ;)
Anoushka Kumar you just blew my mind😱😱😱😱😱
Now i wanna buy all the pigments in the world!!
Aww, thank you Sandra!! :D Glad you enjoyed!
Zabrena!! You can't POSSIBLY be old enough to remember the funky colored mascara..NO WAY, girl! You are too young!! Me, on the other hand...I wore blue, burgundy, purple, & frost white mascara in high school. Pretty cool! Thanks for your tips! Never even imagined using pigments for nail polish, lippie, or blush/highlighter. I love the idea! Gonna try the Blue Brown Pigment on my nails my next day off . Thanks for your ever-useful tips! :)
Omg, this is amazing I'll definitely be trying these ideas. Now I won't shy away from lose pigments anymore, thank you.
Thanks babe! :) I have purchased a separate clear nail polish bottle specifically for when I want to use pigments as nail polish, so it's dedicated only to that. The brush does get stained with the different colors, but after each pigment, I wipe the brush down with nailpolish remover to get rid of the excess and just stick it back in the bottle! The residue from the brush hasn't ever bled into the clear polish in the bottle to affect any future pigments, so you should be safe there! MUAH!
Hi there! I really love Blonde's Gold because it's light and adds a subtle sheen. You could also try Melon (although a VERY small amount, very strong), Lithe, or Vanilla. :) Hope that helps! Oh, and you'll LOVE that eyeshadow transformer! So many uses!
So in summary, the only make up I need to buy outside a foundation is a mac pigment colour and I'm all set. After watching this video, I believe I can even contour with just pigment. Okay, I'm off to the stores..... 👄💋💃🏼
Somebody Mee yesssssssss lolllll
I love this video, I found myself constantly saying "thats really smart." Lol, so helpful! :)
Very helpful! Walked into the MAC store and got the Naked pigment, can't wait to try out the fun ways of using it!
First video I ever watched of zabrena and still watch her to this day and probably forever.
Wow! So I just discovered you and I can't believe how much I've learned about pigments. Most people are t very informative on TH-cam about how to use them. You are so knowledgable with these products and I love that you actually demonstrated each use for us all. I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers!
Awesome video! I had no idea the pigments could be used in all those ways. Thanks! ☺️
Thanks, T! :D I haven't worn that in a video before, but it is one of my fav pigment combos for lips!
Wow! Thank you for making this !! I thought I'd see the typical 'you can use it as a shadow, you can use it as a highlight" but this was so much more! I actually learned something :) the lipstick idea, and the nail polish I can't wait to try out!!! Your the best :)
I love the nail polish idea
Oh, they are so many! I'd recommend going with something light first to see how you like the texture. I think Softwash Grey would be beautiful against your skin color.
Thank you, Vero! Glad you enjoyed! HUGS BACK! :D
YAY! I'm glad I was able to bring some new info to you!! :D Thank you for watching, sweetie!
Great ideas! I love pigments but don't have many...yet. :)
fantastic ideas - I was just about to do my nails ... think I'll go find my pigments!
This is gold for advanced makeup gurus. Thx!
I love the foiling method, it's so pretty
"THUMBS UP"

your expertise.
I do make up for Film & Theartre
and this is going to help me so much.
Thank you! Yes! I love fun little things like this!
great video! I always shy away from loose pigments BC it seems like to messy and a hassle. but these are great tips ! thanks
Thanks so much! You are super awesome and so sweet. You deserve hundreds of thousands of subscribers and billions of views. XOXO
YAY! So happy you found this helpful! :) My favorites are Blonde's Gold, Teal, Follow Your Fancy, Lithe, Heritage Rouge and Rich Life! You can get sample sizes of them for cheap too! ;)
Hi zebrena. So you basically need a mixing medium and you just swirl your pigment into the mixing medium after putting a few drops with the Mac brush?
Awesome! I will try the Teal. Yur videos are incredible, I love them all!!! Thank you so much! :)
Yes! I have pigments I never use for eyeshadow. They'd make great nail polish, and my boyfriend might like them as lip colors.
Hi babe! I aim to please! :) I would recommend Rose, Apricot Pink and Coco Beach [or Tea Time] (used VERY lightly).
Brilliant! Can't wait to try the mascara. Thanks for the tips.
You have such lovely hair!
OMG you are great!!! This video is the best ever. I just discovered pigments and I am like where in the world have I been. I love the pigments and will now have to stop collecting MAC eyeshadows and move on to more pigments. I have blue-brown, and melon right now. What colors do you suggest or are your favorite?
This is crazy, I had no idea about pigments and what you could do with them. Thank you so much for this vid!
Today I just bought my first pigment :) mac vanilla
Fab video! Really interesting, and definitely going to try some of these tips!
joan calamezzo shows us how to use pigments. Love it!
Hi Kimberli! :) I am literally thanking my past self because I couldn't remember! LOL! It's in the description box ;)
Usually, you can just apply them to the lid with a brush that packs the color well like the MAC 239 and that's typically how I'll do it. You can also use an eyeshadow transformer, I think I mentioned that in the video. I did a video on eyeshadow transformers you're welcome to view too that shows what it looks like with it applied and without it. Helps it stick ;) Thx for asking!
there you go again being just plain awesome!! :) thanks for the tip and i will check out the website. i love saving money whenever i can especially since i spend so much. haha!
YAY! Welcome to you and thank you for subscribing! Glad you enjoyed!! :D

BEST video from you ever! I love how you treat your make up like an art form.
Could you do a look using custom colours in a similar way to the cutaways in this video?
Also, what do you think of MAC Silver Dusk and their other iridescent powders?
Sorry for bombarding you with comments all the time. LOVE!

~Sandra
Hi! I'm not familiar with the MUF Eye Seal, so I can't say for certain, my apologies. It could be. The MAC mixing medium is only available in pro stores, yes, but you can get it if you just walk into one! :)
This was such a great video! Just bought the travel size of pink vivid and I'm SO excited!!
Hi Zabrena! Love the tips. I recently read that some of Mac's pigments weren't safe for the eye or lip areas, but I couldn't find a list. Do you know this is true, and if so which pigments aren't safe? Thanks a bunch.
Amazing video I love experimenting with makeup!
Thank you so much for this video! I love that you actually showed us exactly what you were talking about as well....that was very helpful. When you say "mixing medium" can that be MAC's Fix Plus?
Ok, two questions: One, what colors are you wearing on your eyes for filming this video--absolutely gorgeous and soft!
Two, when applying pigments normally on eyelids, do you need a glitter glue or base or how do you use them regularly? Thanks:)
Is there a website to find these colors? I am very interested in the gold that was made into an eyeliner.
you never disappoint me. :) thanks for this video. im an nc20 what pigments would you recommend as a blush for me?
OMG!! Girl this is AWESOME!
OMG the nail polish thing is soooooo cool!!! :D
What do you think would be the best first pigment for olive skin?
Good morning! Could you please list some pigment colors which would be great to add to foundation? I think this might solve my problem as I use full coverage makeup and it tends to be really flat. I'm fair skinned like you. Thanks! PS: I just ordered the Jesse's Girl Transformer... can't wait for it to come in!
I'm thinking I can use these for working in encaustics. 🎨🤗🎨🤗🎨🤗🎨
Love The Colors!
In order to use it as regular eyeshadow do you need to compact it or can you use it straight from the loose pigment?
Thank you!! Love to the UK! ;)
This video is AMAZING! I'm subscribing right now!!! I bought a few MAC pigments and didn't know they had so many uses!!! By the way, what's the name of that beautiful Copper pigment you used on your lids? it's gorgeous!
Hi.. I like your video so much, is there a way to use pigments to color hair??!!!!!! And can you plz do video for
What I do for the lips using the pigments is to put on my chapstick first and then I place on the pigment (u can mix pigments beforehand for custom color) it lasts on a lot longer! :)
Omg suuuuch good tips Sabrina! :D xxx
Great video! I love to mix my pigments with body lotions also! If I want a glow on my legs and arms :) It just takes a tiny bit.
OMG! Have you worn this lippie before? It looks awesome Zabrina!
I never thought of using pigments as nail polish or mascara. Thanks for the tip girlfriend =D

Thank you for subscribing and welcome to you! :) I'm so happy you found this helpful. The name of that pigment is Copper LOL ;)
usefull video.
i m going to use my peachy pigment as lipstick.
Thank u ..!!
Oh, definitely! You can mix a little bit of pigment in with hair gel and mix it in with your hair that way. And you can control the amount with little or more pigment, however you like it! ;) (And to answer your other question, I'm actually working on a video series now for that exact topic! ;))
Hi! loved the video and i got a question! is it the same as Make Up For Ever eye seal? i heard that the MAC mixing medium is found in Pro stores only... :/
Great tips - all of them x
Very nice Mac pigments
Can you plz do video how to match makeup colors with your dress color.. Thank you
LOL! If you want to save some pennies, you could also get the sample sizes for $2-4 a piece (I listed the link where I get mine in the description box) - that way you're not spending a lot just in case you don't like the pigment (and there's plenty in a sample if you do like it!)!
This was really useful. Thanks
such an interesting video! thank you!
Haha! If you want to try them for cheap in the sample sizes, I listed the link where I get mine in the description box! That's how I built up my collection. :D
Thank you for this video it was so helpful! What mixing medium do you use to turn a pigment into liner? xx
I use Iglot Duraline. It's an amazing product and can be used in a lot of different ways. No harsh to it, either. You can buy online at Amazon and others.
I love your hair!!!
