A man could graduate HS in America in the 50s && walk into a factory to receive training && be able to support a family for life ... NOW a young person could land a technology job in America (some of the highest skilled labor in human history) && then has to immediately be thinking about finding more work + their next job LOLz ... just step back and put into perspective how phucking hard we've been scammed in America

I like how Eric’s process empowers you, even if it might not work at times, but it probably also gives you more leverage during the salary bargain too

I laugh when anyone uses the term "snowflake", first, we talk about what we know best, so I usually asume they are one, or they have no social skills, and assume that them being rude is okay. And second, the term was popularized by "Fight Club", which was written by a gay man, on the effects of toxic masculinity on men. But other wise, Eric made some great points, I honestly think the one click apply was a huge mistake, although, there has to be a compromise between that, and having to fill in the same information for every single application. HA It's all about being impatcful, showing your trustworthiness, and (sadly) that you are willing to go "above, and beyond".

"Snowflake" was common way beore Fight Club back to the american slavery days. And became popular after fight club, when political correctness became mainstream. It was not popularized by fight club.
      Snowflake also refers to:
Someone who melts with a little heat, weak and sensitive.
Someone who believes they are overtly unique, like a snowflake, but they are not.
Someone whose beauty or alure is temporary.
      Original meanings:
Someone who opposed slavery being abolished
Someone who was black that was acting white
This word means waaaay to much to even be taken seriously by anyone.
