This is interesting, not what I'd do-youve obviously seen how the upper/outer bit can be more loose because it's not load bearing. The rollers won't get caught on even the smoothest of semi cut (not all the way through) track. My bead bin certainly does albeit only slightly. You seem to have a special mind pal, seeing what others don't and almost celebrating these things in the artistic simplistic design :) unless you go through loads of prototypes :p
Looks like cyanoacrylate. I’ve used it a lot in RC plane making. Also my wife used it a lot in university when she was making balsa wood models for her architecture class. You can find it in most model shops. Beware, use gloves! It will glue your finger to the wood in about a second! I have had to literally cut my finger off of things more times than I can count 😂🤦🏻♂️
