@Hoosayne editing, literally, they transition shots the moment he leaves the stage to his garage, and kept the audio of the audience in until he drops the notebook he had.

Ah, the Catch 22 of Bo Burnham. Without uploading to TH-cam, he would have gone on to live a normal life. Maybe he would have been happier. But without his fame, he couldn't make this impact on so many people. He couldn't have graced the world with his art. But it's also made him worse off mentally. But that's precisely why he can connect so genuinely to others.
It’s hard to say. So many of us with normal lives are miserable. For us, we have people like Bo to bring us some joy throughout all the misery and I’m so grateful to him for that. I wish nothing but the best for him and I hope that he has things that help him get through the day like he does for us.

Nothing is accidental. There was going to be a Bo Burnham even if with another name because creation is winking in our face and everything that needs to happen will occur.
For him, I imagine translating the fact that popularity and profit while being depressed is difficult but he has to speak, he wants to speak and I think it is good even if the process is difficult. We are better for this.
Watching this gives a different perspective than the special. You feel like you’re in the audience, and you can feel that he’s speaking right at you. I miss him

i really appreciate being able to watch this from the perspective of an audience member. bo looks so much more human. in the netflix special (which is filmed amazingly!) we see him as this god figure so this perspective is fascinating

Totally agree, I think seeing the backs of some heads is important cause it shows that there’s so many people watching him which I sometimes forget when watching the Netflix show

Ive never seen anybody comment on the last part where he yells into the mic, it's so sad. It breaks my heart every time I hear it..
I honestly feel like that is just one of the purest expressions of how frustrated someone can feel- all of your hopelessness, love, passion goes into doing something like that. THAT part more than anything is what gets me crying when I watch this.
The New York/Netflix version of the yelling especially hits, the high pitch of it just hits ya, y’know
It is a tale as old as Time, when the funny man has something deep to say we can't help but listen
he is a genius. So #deep
It's sad how he says, "and laugh as he attempts to give you what he cannot give himself" and ends with, "thank you, I hope you're happy". Happiness is what he trys to give us but can't give himself.
This was one of the shows he had a panic attack during performing.

Remember; most anxiety attacks aren’t like the movies where you think you’re dying. Many are, but most aren’t - they’re internal and only obvious to those who pay attention.

The line “if you can live your life without an audience, you should do it” is different cause there’s really no pause and lingering of the said line. Fascinating how much a difference in tone of voice and letting it linger can have such an impact.

fun fact: that actually wasnt meant to be a metaphor. Bo explained in a podcast that both the Pringles and the Chipotle lines are just for funny, but he thinks the metaphor theory is genuinely better

I watched an interview he did a couple months back and he had said after this tour he's going to start writing material for other people. He said that he was getting tired of writing his own material. And I was.

No offense to Bo but it seemed like he's putting too much set up to the jokes because he only has 35 min. of the hour done.
So is there more to be expected from his special? I went to the Vegas show and it seemed short. What seemed longer than that, but I didn't see it live.
what. was a longer show, Bo wanted to fit more non live segments into the special and didnt want it to go over an hour
rather have 35 minutes of absolute genius than have some filler added to extend it
