Imagine he had to make those impressions for years in clubs, shows, live tv... Gotta respect the hard work and passion he went from nothing and became the greatest comedian in Hollywood. A true inspiration.

He got the perfect opportunity to hone his craft and made it to movies. He was able to show that he could be the biggest clown and also embody others like Andy Kauffman better than anyone else could.
I recorded this off HBO when it first aired. Got the whole show. Pretty good except for Jimmy Walker and Elaine Boozler. Still have it on the original VHS tape I recorded it on today.

I had vaguely heard about him before he exploded in popularity on In Living Color, especially with that movie he did with Lauren Hutton and Cleavon Little called Once Bitten, as well as an appearance he made on The Tonight Show. He's come a long way from those days in the 80's.
