F-Spy was not available in those days, right? I see you struggled more with setting the right measurements then with the modelling itself) The modelling is a fun part for you!) Very nice!) And thank you for sharing this!
Fspy wasn't available, but it is still useless for such kind of case since it is almost Z axis rotated otho view on a refrence which makes its tracking almost impossible. Fspy approach require some nice cubic shape with clear perspective distortion to produce nice tracking.
Hello hope you're fine just a question since one year i learn from you and i realise many hard polygonales objects by your tutorials it was hard and fun to do it and now there is someone on TH-cam that he said these types of modeling nowadays its over we dont need such as a work because there is a lots of similar models in websites. Now i am confused if i continu still to do it or i give up. Please can you give me an advise because of your personal experience. I wanted to thanks you a lot of your videos i learn a lot from you
Well, thats simple - stocks are full of models, but work still remains. If you made a model, it can expire. If you've got a technology for making models, it can't expire, because different industries need different models under certain licenses.
really your work is worth respect :] I hope you make some tutorial to explain more your technique maybe on easier stuff to help us understand what you do because when ever I try to do like you I'm lost in the middle of the work :p

It is F2 addon, that was built-in Blender, but disabled by default. One of it ability brought to default behaviour (filling bridge loop), but quad from vertex was replaced with making triangles. 80% of videos on my channel is about F2 addon.
I've seen some of your old videos and I've noticed that when you were using just the F2 addon for the retopo, your vertecies were bigger in the viewport. How can I make this?

How do you do that at 10:32, making a square face by pressing f? I just get triangles.

Blue line - longitudinal (thin) demand loops direction
Red line - transverse (thick) demand loops direction
