Ikr and that’s because she saw her sister in Becky and it’s honestly so sweet. Sue also always gave Becky opportunities that Becky probably would not have gotten with anyone else and it just makes me love Sue so much more than I already do.
@@mimimarie44 sue did so much for her! Putting her on the Cheeriors as well as training her to be the best she can be so that people won't think it was just a handout. It made Becky popular and liked by others because they actually took notice of her and saw that she was a nice person! Sue made it so that Becky felt comfortable with someone, actually treated her with respect and love and saw her for who she was! Brittany was her friend before she was on the cheer team and seemed to be the only person who didn't treat Becky any different than anyone else, Sue made sure that Becky felt like she had a friend and make sure she felt love and I think its great. The thing is unlike Artie (in this scene,) Sue isn't being nice because she takes pity on her.
well yeah she does have down syndrome and that would create difficulty for her so i would definitely agree with you on that too because even i have down syndrome and so i would have difficulties in dealing with speech impediment and that would be part of my level of down syndrome
Sue is like Becky's mom. They're relationship was better than anyone else's with their family, and their not even related (Kurt used to have a crush on Finn before they became step brothers which is what I tend to find weird)
Artie is still hurting we she gets impression it's her down sydrome it's not. Artie wanted to be her friend and that's it at time she did come on very strong and Artie was steal dealing with previous hurt he didn't want be hurt sgain or loose there friendship.
The way Becky sees it if she wasn't downs this would be her voice for everyone to hear this story is heartbreaking she really shouldn't be feeling so blue 😢
i believe its to reflect what its like to be disabled, it can be trapping, you can be smart and talented but when you are disabled its like being trapped whether mentally in beckys case or physically in Arties case. some autistic people are mute. they are smart and well rounded like anyone else but they can't communicate and are essentially trapped in their own body. Becky is very capable and for a downs patient is very high functioning but still people don't see who she really is. the person who is speaking in her head. i speak from experience, I've been disabled since birth, I'm not mentally disabled(i do have trouble in social aspects but its hardly noticeable) but because im physically disabled i am often spoken to in a baby voice and treated like a fragile, breakablle person when in reality i can do more than people think and can understand more than people think
there a fine line between pity and empathy. speaking as someone who is disabled, i understand where you are coming from, but most of us, don't want pity, we just want you to see us like equals, and empathize when we can't be like everyone else. but don't pity us. but i know what you mean.
I think maybe it’s because in the they want to make it seem like there is some dramatic, or something to make the tv show better, I don’t if what I’m saying is true, but, I don’t get it either still.
Judith Z “You may be wondering why I sound like the queen of England in my head, the reason is that I can sound however I want in my head- back off haters.”
i believe its also to emphasize she is more than her disease, she's smart, capable, and just as human as the rest of the characters. most people see people with disabilities as breakable, weak and inadvertently think of them as less than and someone to be pitied. this voice showcases who she IS, not what she appears to be. i say this as a fellow disabled person who after getting to know me and tutoring me in chemistry, my friends bf who often spoke to me in a baby or kid talk, recounted to her in a shocked voice "wow she's really smart!"
I like the way Sue hates everyone but is sweet with Becky, look like Santana with Brittany.

I honestly can't imagine how difficult her life must be. Irl too. It must take such strength to do this kind of stuff every day.

“Don’t let them see you cry” really kicks hard!!!!

Once their parents got married he was completely over him

I know your suppose to hate Sue but after watching this, I just love her
I still am not over how somehow they got Dame HELEN MIRREN to be a part of Glee 😆
I love Becky so much and seeing her cry and feel like artie doesn’t want to date her because of her sydrome break my heart 😢😢😢
Say what you like about sue but she is so good with Becky and is actually a great person
I love that her in voice is Helen Mirren. Classic Becky.
Why is Sue being nice to Becky but not to the new directions?
Jennal Brooks cause of her sister
brian quinn what do u mean like that
Her sister - if i remember right - had down syndrome too
yannik2010 I think her daughter too
Becky reminds sue of her sister
Why is Becky's in her mind so different from her speech?
Because she can sound like whatever she wants to in her head
The way Becky sees it if she wasn't downs this would be her voice for everyone to hear this story is heartbreaking she really shouldn't be feeling so blue 😢

I think it also rpepresents how Becky feels like a queen in her head because of the accent
@@mcnoneya It is physically in beckys case as well.
I really love sue sometimes man, like if sue Sylvester is a better person than you you really need to get your life in check
I jus wish that someone would be understanding of thee heart and knows what to say to help me out with stuff like that in this vid
I think she looks cute I feel sorry for people with that I'm glad she is kind to her

I love Becky so much 😩
It hurt coach I like him
Artie did the wrong thing here he shouldnt have listened to everyone it wasn't up to them for them to decide who artie should date
Whats the name of the background song?
I love that Becky and sue r bffs ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
WHEN DOES YOUR NEXT SONG VIDEO GO UP
How come in every TV show every time someone breaks up with someone they eat ice cream I don’t get it
I agree, I dont get it either.
I think maybe it’s because in the they want to make it seem like there is some dramatic, or something to make the tv show better, I don’t if what I’m saying is true, but, I don’t get it either still.
This show had so many unfortunate implications.
Gotta Love Helen Mirren.
Awwww poor Becky you will be ok and he does have a point you will find another guy
What's their ship name?
Delany Davis My answer: Arckie
Bartie?
@@antwonlembrick5289 Bartie is Brittany-Artie
It’s Arbecky/Artecky
Why a British accent? Why not just let her talk?
It was a joke. You wouldn't expect that voice coming out of her. The great British actress Helen Mirren provided the voice-over.

Earlier in the same episode she explains that. Because “she can sound like whoever she wants”
Haha!
