after watch your 5 across tier homage video, i would have thought that you did not like these invictas all that much at all... but watching this video you didnt put them down much and i'm quite convinced these are the best homage watch that money can buy... and with their variety you can really find one that suits your own taste.
Haha wow that's an old video now! I don't recall that I really talked down the Invicta in that video... in any case, for $70 I still have not found anything that parallels these Pro Divers for sheer value. Cheers!
Definitely agree with your assessment of the 8928ob. Flashy without being gaudy it is my go-to watch for a “night out.” If I feel like a watch with a modern day 007 look and feel, I slip on the 9094. With Rolex and Omega, these mood changes would undoubtedly cost me $14,000! LOL! Thank you, Invicta, for allowing me to slip seamlessly from one to the other for less than $200! And thanks, Perth WAtch, for showcasing these very non-snob appeal timepieces.
Man, your reviews are fantastic! I usually dont like this style of watches, but I just bought the 8927(not OB) just to see if I can pull it off. Gotta say, at 40mm this looks quite tasteful and its perfect for swimming. A whole lot of watch for 85€.
Great review.. I was thinking of getting the black and gold version. I absolutely love the looks of that. For those that love the homage look with the pricey asking price , I think Invicta is the watch to get without going to the counterfeit watches from china.
Thanks for that - for under $100 I think Invicta remains unparalleled as a Sub homage. If your budget will stretch to around $400 then Steinhart would be my recommendation. Cheers!
I have the grand diver cousins to the 8926 and 9094 but that 8927OB looks really nice with the gold accents. Great review great collection of these terrific watches. Affordable, practical, look great.
That's all I need is to see a collection of my beloved Invicta Pro Diver's. Just ordered the 40mm In Red Micky Disney from Evine and the MOP 47mm Micky Pilot Disney. Great Video Keep them coming and Thanks for sharing a beautiful collection.. I own 2 Rolex certified that are nowhere near as accurate as my Deep Blue, Aragon. Invicta and Seiko watches.
Thanks Eddie - what interesting choices those Disney MIckey watches! I have seen pictures of them before but honestly they did not take my fancy - are you specifically a Mickey Mouse fan?
Not really a Mickey fan I do have a Seiko Mickey quartz from 1985 A dress watch. Stunning Perfect accuracy see my video. The Mickey Pilot is also very accurate and excellent quality. Really it is amazing with the Mother of Pearl. Got mine for 100 delivered new. So a Mickey Red Diver with a Seiko and a Mickey 3 watch case for 110 why not. My Mickey Seiko from 1985 is really cheap looking with an almost see through leather band paid $185. These Invicta's are amazing quality. Most of my Seiko's from back in the day were really sub par. Hence the reason I threw so many in the trash.
I just recently stumbled apon this brand believe it or not at a best buy when i was out of town i fell in love with the small circular logo on the hour hand but passed on it because it was at a best buy but after researching the brand a little bit and seeing the movement in action in ur video Im confident this is a good brand and is underrated for its quality
Thanks for that... yeah at the prices they can be gotten it's not surprising to hear you found the at a Best Buy. I do think they are underrated to some extent. Btw that circular logo is what gives this handset the name "Mercedes" and has been copied from Rolex.
Ah I see... there are plenty of options for you I think. TGV from The Urban Gentry (one of the most prominent watch channels) recommends Wrist Candy Watch Club straps.
OK Shoot Me I love these watches so much I had to watch your excellent video again. Amazing watches and thanks for sharing. I own 10 Pro and Grand Divers one with sellita movement most with the Seiko Movements and another one with a Miyota movement.. All Rock!
Haha thanks... I guess one of the best things about TH-cam is that it's essentially free! :) Thanks for the ongoing support, it's much appreciated. Invicta rocks!
Slight correction, the Seiko branded NH35 equivalent is the 4r35, which has only a date complication, whereas the 4r36 has a day date and the non-branded version of that is the NH36.
Turns out NH35a is equivalent to 4R35 actually... it's not so much newer or anything, it's just that NH designation is when the movement is used by a third party, and 4R is when Seiko uses it in their own watches.
guys, i need help. i'm a marine and get roughed up a lot and shoot a lot. shooting causes really sharp shocks to the watch. i've broken 2 g-shocks so far. are there any sub $100 automatic or analog watches you'd recommend that are supremely durable? even if they aren't more durable than the g-shock, what's the most durable watch i can get for that money? i really appreciate any insight. i know next to nothing about watches. trying to get into it. but i'm poor... hahaha.
8926OB on a black-grey NATO strap is definitely the way to go. Sub-100g weight and still looks great, and still a Seiko inside. Not sure about the bezel action on the non-OB versions though. Even on the OB it's turns quite reluctantly, I'm afraid the scalloped variant just won't give enough grip.
@@PerthWAtch Also, the Invicta's OB has exactly 60 "coin edges" that match the minute markers, so one can use them to measure past 15 minutes with the same precision. Submariner doesn't. I'm genuinely stunned with this fact.
I recently bought a seiko skx009 Pepsi , it’s ok but I also bought a limited edition no32 of 3000 invicta,, love the invicta cos of the manual wind and it seems to fit my Wrist better , love it,,, gonna sell the seiko and buy another black and gold Invicta ,, I don’t have watch snobbery and I like the invicta s,,, personal choice thanks Shane uk
Great video! I am planning to buy my first Invicta watch. I am personaly not a big fan of bright shiny bezels, would the 8926 be the less shinier version of the 89260B? I do love the scalp dial, but more important in my opinion is that it shouldn't be too shiny. Between the 8926 and the 89260B, which one would be the better choice for me?
Thanks for the comment! In answer to your question, the *only* difference between those two models is the bezel edge... one being coin edged, the other scalloped. Everything else including the mix of polish and brushed surfaces is the same. IMO the coin edge bezel presents less polished surface than the scalloped. Hope that helps!
Thank you for answering so fast! I do have pretty small wrists, around 6 4/5 to 7 inch wrists, do you think that this 40mm invicta will be too big for me?
Hi there! Good question but I would say "better" is hard to define. For the same $70-80 price I don't think you can get a "better" Seiko... although you can definitely get superior Seiko pieces for around $200-300. Then again for $250 you could get an Invicta with a Swiss movement, which may be considered better. As to longevity, I expect will be much the same seeing as these Invicta watches use Seiko movements!
Any tips to take of the end links? Just took about 30 minutes to do it, and I liked the idea to change between nato, bracelet and strap every other day but I dont know if I'll do it sinc3 it was a nightmare
@@PerthWAtch yes but i feel the space to work is to tight, I dont know if the remover size is standard or are they diferent messures, but my kit has spare tips all the same messure, also the spring bar leave a mark on the lug, when remove it, (in all four lugs). Thanks for awnser.
Just spend my entire afternoon practicing putting on and of diferent bands and bracelets on diferent watches and I realise its all about the quallity of your instrument and the fines of your technic, also, puting end links back is not fun. But you are right, its not imposible.

Hmmm would you review the Quartz Invicta Pro Driver too?
I would be very happy to if any specific models come across my hands... I have reviewed a quartz Pro Diver before, but probably not the model you have in mind: th-cam.com/video/LigG2rM8bt4/w-d-xo.html
I'm have worn my 8926 constantly for the last 9 years, it has a miyota movement, I serviced the movement a month ago, it cost me 20 usd, keeps time like a champ. I have replaced the bezel insert (different colors available) and crystal a number of times, each mineral crystal costs 3 usd, this time I'm planing on using a sapphire crystal (14 usd). I just don't know the gasket measures. With maintenance this watch should last for ever.
How to you keep your polished bracelet scratch free? Because I bought my invicta 4 days ago and I already got scratches on the polished part of the bracelet ;(
Depends on what you do I suppose... I mostly do light office/desk work... if you do manual work of any sort, or if your desk is rough or hard, then I think scratches are inevitable...
@@PerthWAtch it happened when I was travelling, maybe the labour of carrying the luggage scratches the watch, can a rough cloth scratch the watch? Like a laptop carrying bag?
I think Jody from JOMW channel did a compare with one of my automatics, the Quartz ones should be identical in build and if cheaper then may represent an equivalent option to the Casio. Casios big strength is their long history of producing extremely reliable electronics.
Haha thanks - I put the sync down to my OCD :) Yeah there a few black & blue "Batman" style bezels they make, check out the 43mm Pro Diver 15584 for example.
wonderful review. Whats your opinion on the same watch but skeleton - open heart (20433)? I kinda wanna see the movement as it would be my first automatic.. :)
Haha you're doing well looking at watch choices in detail... when I was 15 I was just taking whatever my dad gave out! Also I don't believe bashing is constructive for anyone, not to mention I'm reviewing Invicta watches myself! :) However I would also say that for $80 there is a wider potential range of choices, including Seiko and Casio who do some excellent entry level pieces. Depends on what exactly you're looking for, see for example the Seiko SNK809 or SNE039 being some perennial favorites.
I think that scalloped bezel red and blue differentiated enough from the Rolex Sub to not exactly be wearing an exact copy. I added that toy shopping list on Amazon. I think that'll be my next watch.
Haha great, hope you enjoy it! It's true that the red-black scalloped bezel is more different than some others but I would also argue that none of these are an exact copy.
Perth WAtch Yeah, I’m just playing devils advocate when I say that. I’ve been reading content about these watches and I think it’s a legitimate criticism that Invicta didn’t differentiate the watch enough. However it’s a great aesthetic and a Seiko movement so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@PerthWAtch oh, thanks for clarifying. My invicta is from 2007 so they must have changed the movement they put in their pro divers. Great video nonetheless.
Thanks for the support! Good question - I would say that the gold blue two tone model is the most eye catching of the bunch. Luminance however is equal in all these models, and Invicta lume is not the best.
The absolute best was the Invicta 9938 series. They had Swiss auto movements and last I looked, had SW200's as well. More expensive, but the bracelet, clasp, everything was upgraded and better.
Thanks for that - yeah I think the 9938 is a Swiss movement one, in fact they also have (had?) some that were actually Swiss made too, a step up from the Seiko movements ones for sure, as far as I have read/heard.
I really like your Invicta Pro Diver 9403 Watch and how you replace the strap and is it hard to replace the strap thinking about getting one like that.
Thanks for the comment. It's not difficult to change the straps out... check out this video I previously did about NATO straps and changing it out: th-cam.com/video/Ls_KyC1Aews/w-d-xo.html
I have multiple Seiko's and tissots, out of all my watches I love my invicta PD two tone the most! Its the cheapest watch I own but the heaviest and the build quality is on par with most luxury watches... I don't get all the hate invicta gets I guess its just snobs being egotistical
Thanks for sharing that Josh, great to hear! I think Invicta have some issues for sure, way way too many models that need culling, and some designs (not the Pro Diver) that are just plain shocking. Other than that I think you're right in that there's snobbery at work.
Thanks for that Todd. There are a heap of Pro Diver models in the 47mm and I guess it depends on how much of an "homage" you're looking for. The *3044* is an example of an automatic in this size, but does not have the Mercedes hand design. On the other hand the *12567* has those classic hands, but is a quartz. The *0420* has both Mercedes hands and automatic movement but is 45mm. Cheers, Ivan.
Perth WAtch cool. I just don’t have a blue one available at the time and I’ve just ordered one of these blue and gold pro divers. I do have a black nato so hopefully it looks good. Thanks for the reply
INVICTA Pro Diver is an AWESOME watch, I've seen it in live, and I was AMAZED how superb it is! (for that silly price range!) Thanks God, for not being a purist snob
I am slightly conflicted about the pro divers, not because of the watch functionality but because I find the aggressive branding (particularly on the case) over the top on what isn’t an original design. I know they aren’t the only ones to produce a submariner homage but I don’t know of another that shouts about its own brand quite so loudly when doing it.
Hi dude. You are wrong about the movement. The nh35 is an older movement. The 4r36 is the upgraded movement with Day and date. The 4r35 has only a date.
Thank you for the feedback, but I am going to have to stand by what I said... the movements are the same age, produced from 2010. All trusted sources I have found state that the NH35a is based on the 4R36 - keep in mind that the *4R35a has 23 jewels* whilst the NH35a and the 4R36 have *24 jewels* - how can we explain that discrepancy? Removal of a day disc is an easy mod, adding a jewel is not. Here are some references: calibercorner.com/seiko-caliber-nh35a www.watch-wiki.net/index.php?title=Seiko_4R35/ It would be helpful if you could indicate your sources for that info. Cheers, Ivan.
You're better off paying a little bit more for the Invicta Grand Diver, which has a slightly larger dial and bezel, better water resistance, and a more well built solid bracelet and clasp. Although most models are a bit over the $100 level, if your due diligence, you can find some Grand Diver models below the $100 level.
Thanks for the thoughts Tony. All that is actually quite true, and I have in fact reviewed a number of Grand Diver watches here... however one critical thing for many is the size. The watches I have reviewed are all 47mm cases and also thicker to boot, and would be too large for many (if not most) wrists, including my own.
@@PerthWAtch Thank you for the quick response. To be honest, I'm surprised that the size difference is that big of a factor for many between these two watches. I tried looking for one of your reviews on a Grand Diver, but hadn't come across one yet. I'd like to see one, as your reviews are pleasantly thorough and detailed. If it's not too much trouble, I would appreciate it if you could reply with a link to one of your Grand Diver reviews at your earliest convenience. Thanks again!

really nice.lucky you. the steinhart is on my list...probably im thinking to get it for my birthday but cant decide wich looks better the vintage or the ocean one?!!!!
Not as lucky as I seem - most of the watches I feature are borrowed actually, including the upcoming Steinhart. The OVM gets my vote over the Ocean One - those Mercedes hands are just too ubiquitous...
I know alot of people hate them! But come on think about the price ! What else you can get for 70€ - 100€ (Automatic Watch ) ? Alot of people says seiko is better, yes of course seiko is better but the price is more the invicta of corse ! Or steinhard ! (500€ - 600€) Hamilton ( 400€ - 500€ ). I would say if u got budget ( 400€ - 500€) go for Hamilton Khaki Field .
Thank you for taking the time to make that insightful comment! You make a valid point and reference some good comparisons... for €500 I'd go for a *Steinhart OVM* and you would get change from that. In answer to the question you pose, many people would say you could get one of the very good value *Seiko SNK* models for well under €100, e.g. the popular SNK809. Nonetheless I think Invicta offers excellent value and certainly have their place in the market. Cheers, Ivan.
Perth WAtch . I have this invicta pro diver 8928ob as my first autamatic watch 2 years ago, its cool and beutifull watch for the price 👍. Check it out bro ( its 650€ in germany)
Hamilton watches, despite looking beautiful have terrible issues with water resistance despite being rated waterproof. It's a common complaint. Would have got the Khaki field if it didn't have such a bad rap for misting up.
Holy hell all the second hands are in sync
Crikey! I should've bought a lottery ticket that day ;)

it's kinda easier to do this cause when you pull out the crown to adjust the hour the seconds hand stops also and that's weird for an automatic watch

i admire your knowledge and appreciation of these watches, i'll definitely pick a couple of these up. fantastic watches for the price
Thanks man - check out the links I provided if thinking about purchasing, I try to find good sources :)
Cheers!
Perth WAtch very true.. I actually own a Marathon GSAR divers. However I’m a little over protective of it. That kinda why I was looking at this.
I own the same watch and I love it. I also love that all the second hands are going exactly the same! Amazing work and thank you for the video!
Haha thanks for that - I put that down to my OCD :)
I have the grand diver cousins to the 8926 and 9094 but that 8927OB looks really nice with the gold accents. Great review great collection of these terrific watches. Affordable, practical, look great.
Thanks man :)
Thanks for the reply and for again sharing your experiences Eddie! Cheers, Ivan.
I like the red one, it looks really cool
Yes it is!
The only Invicta that I love - Pro Diver 40mm and I have all the colors including the Mickey Dial and the 25th anniversary Edition
Nice! How many do you have?
@@PerthWAtch I have 5 Pro Divers and 2 are limited edition numbered. The 25th anniversary has a Sapphire Crystal
Sapphire on a Seiko powered Invicta? The wonders!! :)
Love my pro diver. I'll be getting the bond strap now that I've seen yours. Thank you!
Great to hear! Out of interest, will you be ordering from Sydney Strap Co.? Where are you based? Cheers, Ivan.
I would order from them, but I'm in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Ah I see... there are plenty of options for you I think. TGV from The Urban Gentry (one of the most prominent watch channels) recommends Wrist Candy Watch Club straps.
Great review, thanks for the time that you put into it. Btw, BluShark straps also has some great straps also.
Thanks for the comment, and for pointing out BluShark - I'll be sure to take a look! Cheers, Ivan.
i love that he sets all second hand accurate and aligned to each watch
I put that down to my OCD :)
I love that they're all synced
Haha thanks - you can put that down to my OCD :)
My current watch is a Casio MTD-1053 with blue dial... If I get an automatic I'd definitely pick the blue/silver Invicta :D
A solid watch with a good design that... well, let us know when/if you decide to take the plunge to get an automatic :)
Thanks for the ongoing support, it's much appreciated. Invicta rocks!
These are especially well sized for the smaller wrist 40x44.4x14 Lug to Lug 47.82. The NH35 can be regulated to +/-5sec
What’s the second dimension 44.4??
Slight correction, the Seiko branded NH35 equivalent is the 4r35, which has only a date complication, whereas the 4r36 has a day date and the non-branded version of that is the NH36.
Thank you 👍
@@PerthWAtch you’re welcome! 🙂
Watched a lot of Invicta reviews. This review convinced me to buy the Invicta 27611 and the 21323.
Thanks for that - all the best, I'm sure you will enjoy them! :)
I was thinking on buying the blue one. Which nato strap colours should I have my eye on to match the watch?
I reckon blue with white stripes would go very well :)
Thanks that might look pretty good
I like the red and white nato strap It really works on that watch
Yeah I agree
Has anyone had them pressure tested or used them while swimming? I have the black and gold version, and it's accuracy is much better than expected.
I’ve use them swimming - it’s fine
Thanks so much for being objective and not perpetuating the hate Invicta gets.
No worries - Invicta rocks!
NH35 and the 4 R36 are two different movements. The 4R36 is the newer more robust version.
Turns out NH35a is equivalent to 4R35 actually... it's not so much newer or anything, it's just that NH designation is when the movement is used by a third party, and 4R is when Seiko uses it in their own watches.
Thank you for having all pieces timed the same :) my ocd is content
Haha no worries - you can definitely attribute that to my OCD.
guys, i need help. i'm a marine and get roughed up a lot and shoot a lot. shooting causes really sharp shocks to the watch. i've broken 2 g-shocks so far. are there any sub $100 automatic or analog watches you'd recommend that are supremely durable? even if they aren't more durable than the g-shock, what's the most durable watch i can get for that money? i really appreciate any insight. i know next to nothing about watches. trying to get into it. but i'm poor... hahaha.
Do recommend putting a nato strap on the blue and gold one? And in what color?
I probably wouldn’t... but if you wanted to you could go with a blue-yellow patterned strap perhaps.
Yeah that’s a nice combo. The bezels on Invicta are variable. Some of mine are quite a bit looser than others.
@@PerthWAtch Also, the Invicta's OB has exactly 60 "coin edges" that match the minute markers, so one can use them to measure past 15 minutes with the same precision. Submariner doesn't. I'm genuinely stunned with this fact.
Oh that’s interesting - and very observant of you!
Great review sir!
Thanks man :)
Thanks Shane - to date I think these Invicta Pro Diver models still represented unparalleled value at this price point. Cheers, Ivan.
Great vid, these are definitely undervalued.
Agreed! :)
I reckon 40mm is like the sweetest spot in terms of size and suits almost anyone. That's my wrist size too and this watch is definitely not too big.
Alright, thank you for your help!
which size has the nato stripe on the invicta pro driver: 20 mm or 22 mm ?
20mm
What I want to know is what’s better a Sieko or Invicta? Also which would last longer? Thanks!
What's the difference between these and the 5053 invicta model? 🤔
Just the colours, that's pretty much it.
Any tips to take of the end links? Just took about 30 minutes to do it, and I liked the idea to change between nato, bracelet and strap every other day but I dont know if I'll do it sinc3 it was a nightmare
Did you use a spring bar remover??
@@PerthWAtch yes but i feel the space to work is to tight, I dont know if the remover size is standard or are they diferent messures, but my kit has spare tips all the same messure, also the spring bar leave a mark on the lug, when remove it, (in all four lugs). Thanks for awnser.
I think with practice you will get better and be able to avoid leaving marks
Haha that's awesome man, thanks for sharing that! :)
A cloth would have to be pretty rough to scratch steel... but any rivets or zippers, or metal bits on jeans/clothing certainly could.
If looking at the quartz ones are they better build and value than the casio Duro? (Mdv106)
I think Jody from JOMW channel did a compare with one of my automatics, the Quartz ones should be identical in build and if cheaper then may represent an equivalent option to the Casio. Casios big strength is their long history of producing extremely reliable electronics.
Very great video, all the second hands are synced. About to get mine. Are there any black and blue bezel version out there?
Haha thanks - I put the sync down to my OCD :)
Yeah there a few black & blue "Batman" style bezels they make, check out the 43mm Pro Diver 15584 for example.
Top value time keeper, the superbly built "Invicta" ,no nonsense and no bullshit. Spin..
Used to be top value. No longer.
Their MSRP is total BS - look it up.
what straps you have on the first and the last watches? thanks
They're from Sydney Strap Co - see description for details.
@@PerthWAtch thanks. I also want to buy invicta pro. Which is more practical 9094 or 8928? Thsnks for your review
Pretty much the same, just go by what you like.
I just picked up one on Amazon black and gold it's awesome.
One of the best value watches you can get, period :)
wonderful review. Whats your opinion on the same watch but skeleton - open heart (20433)? I kinda wanna see the movement as it would be my first automatic.. :)
Thanks for the positive feedback. TBH I’m generally not a fan of non-custom skeleton dials, would prefer the solid dials.
Qual seria o melhor na sua opinião? Invicta Pro Diver ou Pagani Design?
What?
does anyone have a way of getting a scratch off of the cyclops on this watch?
Tricky!!
I'm going to start collecting invictas I love them
Thanks for the comment - all the best with your venture there! What models and ranges were you thinking of starting with?
Perth WAtch I was thinking about starting with the 8927ob it is cool looking and cheap
The 8927OB is a good looking homage, and quite possibly their best-selling model of all :)
Perth WAtch thank you for not bashing me because I like invicta watches I'm only 15 and it's all I can afford 😂😂
Haha you're doing well looking at watch choices in detail... when I was 15 I was just taking whatever my dad gave out! Also I don't believe bashing is constructive for anyone, not to mention I'm reviewing Invicta watches myself! :)
However I would also say that for $80 there is a wider potential range of choices, including Seiko and Casio who do some excellent entry level pieces.
Yeah fair enough comments that!
How do you get the seconds to align like that with a non-hacking movement?
These movements hack.
But if yours don’t you can usually still do backwind hacking.
@@PerthWAtch oh, thanks for clarifying. My invicta is from 2007 so they must have changed the movement they put in their pro divers. Great video nonetheless.
Love your review!
Would you say that golden blue one has better luminance and better colour than the silver blue Invicta?
Thanks for the support! Good question - I would say that the gold blue two tone model is the most eye catching of the bunch. Luminance however is equal in all these models, and Invicta lume is not the best.
Is this a kind of watch that stops if not on your wrist all the time because im thinking of getting one
Yes, these are automatic watches... they will run for about 40 hours if left sitting after being fully wound.
@@PerthWAtch so lets say you dont wear it for 40hrs would you have to set the date and time again?
Just over 40 hrs? You'd have to set the time but not the date in that case.
@@PerthWAtch ah okok thanks
The absolute best was the Invicta 9938 series. They had Swiss auto movements and last I looked, had SW200's as well. More expensive, but the bracelet, clasp, everything was upgraded and better.
Thanks for that - yeah I think the 9938 is a Swiss movement one, in fact they also have (had?) some that were actually Swiss made too, a step up from the Seiko movements ones for sure, as far as I have read/heard.
Question, do y'all think the blue 4th watch is nice or kinda too eye-catching and bright💙
Well, my own view is that the dual tone ones are considerably more "blingy" than those without dual (gold) tone...
I really like your Invicta Pro Diver 9403 Watch and how you replace the strap and is it hard to replace the strap thinking about getting one like that.
The terminator strap*
Other than that I think you're right in that there's snobbery at work.
watch snobs thats were. Check out my new vid.
Greetings, do you know if the strap diameter from this model is 20mm or 19mm, I got one and I want to put a nylon strap, thanks a lot!
It's 20mm, cheers!
Thanks a lot! you are very kind!
9403 said recently it has a Miyota movement Is that as good ?
Sorry Mike, surely the watch didn’t actually speak!? Where did you get that info from?
I love this watch and this is an awesome review. Are there an homages to the submariner or similar in the 47mm size?
Thanks for that Todd. There are a heap of Pro Diver models in the 47mm and I guess it depends on how much of an "homage" you're looking for. The *3044* is an example of an automatic in this size, but does not have the Mercedes hand design. On the other hand the *12567* has those classic hands, but is a quartz. The *0420* has both Mercedes hands and automatic movement but is 45mm. Cheers, Ivan.
i just found the 3044 in my own search, it's the perfect size and has the look ! :) cheers to you!
What nato would you recommend for the blue and gold one?
I would probably just go with a plain blue one there.
Perth WAtch do you think I could get away with plain black as well?
Yeah I reckon that'd be OK as well
Perth WAtch cool. I just don’t have a blue one available at the time and I’ve just ordered one of these blue and gold pro divers. I do have a black nato so hopefully it looks good. Thanks for the reply
I have a blue and gold and stainless steel sub mariner and one of these I like it.
Thanks for that - an Invicta serves well as a stand in for the rougher jobs I reckon! :)
INVICTA Pro Diver is an AWESOME watch, I've seen it in live, and I was AMAZED how superb it is! (for that silly price range!)
Thanks God, for not being a purist snob
Thanks for that... and of course, agreed! :)
Honestly, I might prefer the scalloped bezel.
Me too!
What size are the straps?
You mean the width? 20mm
Did you have any problem with them, I want to buy one but I'm worried because I saw many bad reviews about this watch in Amazon.com
Personally still have never had any problem with any of my Invicta watches. They remain one of the very best value watches you can get IMO.
Well you sold me,i need to get one of these to play with. The blue sunburst is awesome.non watch guys think you spent a fortune.
Thank you for that - well I'm sure you will enjoy it! :)
Can you tell us where you got the non metal straps?
Sure, it's from the Sydney Strap Co. - please check out the video description for links.
@@PerthWAtch Thank you!
Check out the Starking Invicta homage :)
Perth WAtch well that I will have to see😀 I do like the invicta 1953 and I know the brand has some heritage
Its a nice watch mine is the two tone chrome and gold, and im gonna buy more in other colors.
Nice one!
Here are some references:
calibercorner.com/seiko-caliber-nh35a

It would be helpful if you could indicate your sources for that info. Cheers, Ivan.
Perth WAtch I believe you are right sir. Well done
They make great watches and have actually been around since before rolex
Yes but their best sellers are knockoffs
This would be the most successful one: th-cam.com/video/68E9NpLXrJk/w-d-xo.html
To find the others just search "Invicta Grand Diver" within my channel :)
I am 12, I have been a watch lover for soo many years and I am looking for a new watch for like 150 euros, now I need to ask you, is it worth buying the invicta??
All depends on what you’re looking for... Invicta is great value.
Good review - Well Done.
Thanks man, glad you liked it :)
What is difference between 9310 and 8926OB
9310 is the Swiss Movement version which will of course cost more
Not to mention it's a rather different colour...!
Which one to buy? Thanks
Buy the one you like :)
I’m absolutely stuck on if I should get the scallop bezel or the coin bezel!
If in doubt I'd say go with the coin edge bezel... it's more classic :)
hi,I have a chance to buy 9094 for 55$. is it worthy to buy? what is your opinion? thanks
Depends on if you like the watch and style, it’s good value
I absolutely love these watches. I couldn't find the bands you have. Where did you get them? I have the black one and it's a silver link band and not the one you have.
Found it. It was in the description. Sorry about that. Loved the video btw. One of the only good videos I seen about these watches.
No worries mate, glad you liked the video. As you saw its an Australian based company - enjoy! Cheers, Ivan.
What size nato strap? 20 or 22mm?
20mm for these
Perth WAtch Thank you Sir
in my opinion if you are gona buy a submariner homage the Steinhart Ocean One Black Ceramic Bezel cost a bit more but worth every penny
Thanks for that - I gotta agree, Steinhart is an *excellent* value proposition - here's a sneak peek of a piece I happen to have on hand: instagram.com/p/BXYRzBflv9X/
really nice.lucky you.
the steinhart is on my list...probably im thinking to get it for my birthday but cant decide wich looks better the vintage or the ocean one?!!!!
Not as lucky as I seem - most of the watches I feature are borrowed actually, including the upcoming Steinhart.
The OVM gets my vote over the Ocean One - those Mercedes hands are just too ubiquitous...
If by "cost a bit more" you mean "about 7 times the price", then yes, you are right.
I just got seiko padi for 350€ last month, its really very good and beutifull watch, maybe better than invicta diver, But its 3 times more in price, and this cristmas i will get from my girl friend a hamilton khaki field :) its -/+ 495 € in germany, im just in love with this Hamilton, but im still proud of my first Automatic watch Invicta pro dive :) 👍 im not fan of Steinhart but i would say the ( Steinhart Oceantow Premium ) Looks beatifull omg. Check it out bro ( its 650€ in germany)
Thanks for sharing your experiences... always interesting to hear others' perspectives!
Perth WAtch you are wellcome, thanks for sharing those videos
Hamilton watches, despite looking beautiful have terrible issues with water resistance despite being rated waterproof. It's a common complaint. Would have got the Khaki field if it didn't have such a bad rap for misting up.
I got that blue one I like it,got that Rolex look.i will be getting at least two more.
Cool
Homage is the understatement of the year lol fantastic collection
You should see my Frolex pieces ;)
