Andrew, a while back I commented on how to properly gas the rifle that you are shooting in this video. The rifle is severely over gassed. You clearly have a 1 o'clock ejection in this video. You will be shocked at how much better the rifle will perform if you adjust the gas block properly. Please look back over my comments and adjust the rifle. Awesome content. Hi Andrew, you mention that the rifle is under gassed when you talk about the 2 o'clock ejection. It is the opposite. The addition of the suppressor dramatically increases the back pressure. It also increases the bolt velocity which is why you are getting the 2 o'clock ejection. Turn down the adjustable gas block to aquire the more desirable 3 o'clock to 4 o'clock ejection. The easiest way to do this is to load 1 round and take a shot with the gas block completely shut off. You should basically have a single shot rifle, and the bolt will not cycle. Load 1 more round and open the adjustable gas block slightly and take the shot. The bolt should cycle but will not lock back. Load another 1 round and open the adjustable gas block just a little more and take the shot. The bolt will cycle and hopefully lock back. If the bolt does not lock back, continue slowly opening the adjustable gas block until you get the bolt to lock back. Once you get the bolt to lock back, very carefully open the adjustable gas block just a little bit more to ensure the reliability of the bolt locking back. You should now have the appropriate 3 to 4 o'clock ejection. It is important to load only 1 round in the magazine during this process. Be safe, and I hope this helps. Always Faithful, Always Forward

Hi Aaron, I remember you saying that on a previous setup. I haven't shot this one much because I'm doing a complete overhaul on this one. The rifle without making changes weights right at 16lbs which is too heavy for me and carrying it in the mammoth sniper challenge, so I've lightened it up a lot. That video will probably be out next week. From there when I take it to the range and get it properly tuned. But I appreciate the comment as always

I don’t have any experience with the magpul bipod but I do with Atlas and I can say that the atlas bipods are very nice and solid, very well built. My only complaint is the weight they are definitely heavier than some competitors.

Definitely on the heavier side, but in my limited experience, it's well worth it.

Try loading the Magpul by pushing forward a inch or two. You may get better groups.

It looks like the connection between the Atlas and the Arca is a much more rigid connection than the Magpul and the handruard..

How about comparing with the Harris?

Once I pick a harris bipod up, I'll do a comparison!

Recoil is managed by loading up on your bipod, not the bipod itself
