I haven't tried a ton of bipods and I only use them for ARs but out of the MDT Oryx, Fab Defense Spike, MDT Ground, Accu-Tac PC-4, Magpul, Atlas and Harris the absolute best one I use is the Accu-Tac. The best budget bipod I've used was actually the Fab Defense Spike. Man that thing is solid.
I’m on team wade here. It’s all about your use case. Me personally my magpul bipod is used mainly for sighting in rifles and test my longer range shots every now and then. I got the picatinny model to mount to every single gun out there no matter what rail it is. I even got the Caldwell pic rail adapter that mounts to a sling stud so I can use it with my bolt guns
Ya man, so heres my dilemma. I like to sight in my bolts before hunting season. Dont like lead sled and got a bag. So I figured id use my bag and a bipod to sight in, be done and take it off. Cause ive only ever taken shots, kneeling or off a tree branch. So im thinking magpul, what do you think? Good enough for the use case?
By far TPH is the best ever podcast. This has been a long wait on the 2nd part but well worth it. I laughed my ass off! Had to watch this one over again. Dont Change A Thing Guys!
@@mckimmym Yeah, the Harris with a quick adjust lever definitely wins in this category. But I actually find that with the Magpul, I set it and forget it. No need to ever truly lock it out. I just tension it down fairly tight which, when behind the gun, is easy enough to adjust cant on the fly, and tight enough to hold steady. I love it.
@@Strelnikov10 agreed. Grnd Pod has a quick adjust lever as well. If you find yourself on an uneven surface in a match you can quickly hit the lever and get yourself leveled out.
Someones gonna make fun of me...... but i got a fab defense spike precision for cheap a while back (mind you i have a few atlas bipods) and i ended up liking the fab defense spike precision so much that i only buy them now lol. I love how awesome they are haha. I too hate rickity magpuls, but ive yet to see one broken either.
Not going to make fun of you personally, FAB gets allot of hate because of their radical designs, like the tacticool grips, but there is honestly nothing wrong with any of their products, people either don't know or forget that they are a legit military defense company and lots of FAB products are in actual combat around the world. You see lots of tier one guys in the middle east and even Russia running FAB products. Their AK accessories and stocks are pretty well regarded.
Have a magpul bipod and I’ve been pretty happy with it, shot out to 600 yards and it’s done great. Don’t get me wrong atlas makes a damn good bipod BUT $300 for a bipod is a hard pill to swallow.
Never used any other bipod but a harris... u mean theyre not supposed to go boing boing?? Lol. Honestly tho the only reason i got a harris over a magpul was because of the play in the legs, but ive heard you talk so much about them that i feel like i need to get one now for AR. Its hard to argue with someone whos probably spent more on bipods than i have on all my guns put together
Serious question , why does Magpul not make a bipod that’s arca ready without having to buy an extra adapter? Mlok ready, yes. 1913, yes. Arca, nope, buy an adapter!
Wade I have a magpul FDE M-LOK bipod I’ll trade ya for a atlas lol and I’ll pay shipping both ways @TheTexasPredatorHuntingPodcast #TheTexasPredatorHuntingPodcast
"SHIT... I pinched my finger! BOING!!!" Killed me
This is the greatest clip ever.
It definitely deserved its own video.
I got three of them. Work great. Hitting fine out to 650 yards. Longest my range goes.

Magpul all day long, but you do need to keep some Harris/Caldwell bipods around. It's how you identify your 308s....

@@Inb4ending more than good enough for your use case. You could even save a few bucks and get their cheaper moe bipod
This is hilarious, I loved every bit of it
This episode is fuckin awesome. You guys gotta do more
I love Magpul bipods so much i bought 3 my self !!!
I love them!
I get in that debate with my friend group about the Magpul bipod frequently 😂 I buy one every time I see them on sale 3 and counting…

We appreciate the kind words.
Im a big fan of the MDT Grnd Pod. Does the magpul have a cant tension adjustment? That’d be the dealbreaker for me and long range shooting
It does, but it's just a tension adjust, not strong enough to lock it out. But it's fine.
@@Strelnikov10 looked like it was hard to reach as well. Probably not something quickly adjustable

This shit was hilarious. You should get him on one of your hour long podcast.
Amantine said nope ain’t selling me on that bullshit😂
I agree, for a hunting rifle Magpul bipods are great. For long range precision shooting I’d go with something else like an Atlas.
Love my Magpul bipods
This just made the top 3 😂
I'm with Wade on this. Hunting rig, Magpul all the way. Long range target rig, I lean towards Accutac.
Accutac on the Precision rifle. 👍🏾
I'm with Amantine on this one
Magpul bipods are the way to go! They got the right kind of wiggle……..like my wife.

Magpul bipods are great ive ran atlas, Harris and magpul. I got my first one cause I needed something cheap and quick and fell in love.
Have yall tried swagger bipods?
LMFAO now that a debate at its finest
Have you tried Hatch Outdoors bipod? Good predator bipod 👍
I think you mean Hatch Outwest
Thanks wade. Im buying one 😂
Magpul and yours 😂😂😂 best comment ever

Doubles at 880 yards with my aero precision 5.56 rifle on a magpul bipod.😂🙌🏽👏🏽
I bought one and having buyers remorse... Thinking about going back to my Harris
Team wade. I’m throwing my popcorn at the phone right now. Magpul all day, all night.
6:18 😂
Both of you guys would like Rokstedi bipods better.
I run magpul on all my rifles that are less than 10lbs
Accu-tac
MDT👏🏾GRND 👏🏾POD👏🏾😂😂😂
💕Magpul ! 🤣
Not true. Magpuls are in almost everyone’s TH-cam vid.

That’s cause he gets it for free low key😂😂😂
Not going to lie, I'm disappointed in Amintine. Gun guy making fun of gun gear. If it works what's the issue?
I can tolerate atlas, absolutely cant stand magpul and really wanted to like it, but Harris with the clamp mods for me
😂😂😂
