I'm not bashing or hating on Skoot, I just feel like he took away from the conversation more than he contributed. I might not have felt this way had it been Wood or Wulff asking for his input, but he just over talks the people who I actually want to hear their opinions on the different franchises. Keep up the great work. This podcast has a lot of potential and I'm excited for the next episode.
Yeah like at the beginning i liked the pace they were all talking when asking for his opinion, but then scoot just kept interrupting and making it about himself (which i wouldnt mind if he was like a guest for this one but he clearly wasn’t and just made the episode slower) but it was also making W and B uncomfortable, which is true too for us listeners
I like skoot but this is advertised as a wood and wulff podcast. I don’t mind the occasional input, but he just interrupts too much. Compared to the earlier episodes of this podcast Those flowed much better. This just feels like a mess now to be honest

Scoot kinda took over mid way through I’m sorry to say, waaaaayyy too much interrupting and being very loud. Bob and Wood have a chilled vibe which I enjoy listening too - tone it down please! I really enjoyed having Jon and MsClick on and Kim has great inputs too so it isn’t about keeping it to just the two of you! Think it is about keeping that causal chatty, chilled vibe. Love the show though guys keep it up!
I was really digging the Nontendo podcast when it was just Bob and Wood, even when half the episode was off-topic chatting about life stuff, you guys are so chill its enjoyable listening to your banter. This episode was hard to get through, dont know who this Scoot guy is but he is steamrolling the vibes of the show big time imo. I understand the value of having someone there to fill in knowledge gaps but I would rather listen to you guys talk about what you like without some faceless character constantly butting in with their opinion, no offense but its super annoying.

Thats the podcast I would tune in to weekly or even daily! These gimmick episodes feel forced and rushed, the chemistry is gone. :(
It just seems like he has no chill. I think he could be great during more goofy, fast paced videos but this chill podcast format just doesn't work as well for him.
I subscribed to hear these guys banter, and its fine to get some people invited, but Skoot is derailing it. The constant interruptions makes it feel like he wants to take over, the F potential sponsors will bite you along the way, please decide what you want him to do. Will he drive the topics? (which has been proven to be bad) or will he be a host? Wood looks like the kind of guy that like to keep a tight ship and Wulff is a chill one that add some nice comments, but Skoot is not it.
It's not just Scoot. RGT 85 is the same for spawncast. These guys reference that joker too. One guy just ruins everything and these guys will literally keep them there and risk it all.

Yeah. I read comments ahead of time and felt they were exaggerated. But having finished the episode, wow this seemed like a mess. I had just binged the other 9 and this was the first stinker for me. I agree with most of the list even, but if these other people are going to speak, there needs to be structure or bring them on directly.

It’s cuz They are all friends, and Skoot is a much smaller online entertainer so calling him out on screen might hurt him, wood is to nice to say anything on camera, Bob has this mean and grumpy persona but i dont think he can actually get mad at a friend on camera, and I’m sure they see Skoot as a little buddy they can’t really get mad at for some weird reasons. I hope they had a serious talk with him off camera.
As someone who studied business and has some experience in sales, my humble opinion is that the spec ads (that’s what they’re called) y’all have been doing for sponsors is an EXCELLENT idea! However, cursing the potential sponsor in the middle of the ad is a HARD no. Joke or not that was a very bad move and downright disrespectful. I recommend trying to do the skillshare one again in another podcast. Just my opinion though I’m not like an expert lol.

I came here to say this. It was cringy and he constantly interrupted the show with his opinions. Way to loud, interrupting, just straight up rude and it seemed like he was incapable of reading the energy in the room.
I wasn't understanding all the scoot hate in the comments but then I got half way through the pod 🤣 but hey I'm sure he's a dope dude I just think that content creators often think we'll like their friends as much as we like them kinda like when creators start bringing their partners on the channel it's always hit or miss but they'll figure it out
Yeah i actually like scoot but he was derailing it too much, would prefer a focused episode with added commentary or knowledge from him but he was interrupting almost everything they were saying to the point that they seemed annoyed and I’m sure majority of us were annoyed too

I like both of you guys and I think this podcast can become successful, but some things need to change to keep it enjoyable for everyone. I would just like to offer some feedback, it's meant in a constructive way. You could do a bit more preparation like proof reading today's list or the quiz questions that other time and maybe reading up on the specific topic you want to discuss. You guys should also keep in mind that you can't show stuff on camera since it's a podcast and listeners won't have a clue what's going on. And definitely either give a mic to the people in the background or not include them in the episode at all. Anyways, good luck to you guys! Also I watch Skoot's live streams sometimes and he's a good guy. Ruining the potential sponsor bit was uncalled for, though.

Dude, you didn't ruin the episode. The real problem is that your audio was bad, as was Kim's and everyone else but Wood and Bob. Get a microphone for everyone who talks and it would've been a great episode. The H3 Podcast would be a good model to follow. All the producers have mics that they can turn on and off when needed, and contribute to the show while the main hosts are still Ethan and Hila, so it's never people talking over each other. People don't have the tech knowledge to know why they didn't like this episode and focused on you as a speaker rather than the technical problems.,
I really liked the episode idea, but having Scoot jump in so often hurt the flow. I appreciate his knowledge but I think he should be used to fill in gaps if he's gonna be an off-camera voice. Also the "f**k Skillshare" comment was a real downer. That was gonna be a funny bit but having that right in the middle and not edited out could be an issue with actually getting the sponsor considering it was immediately followed by comments about first-hand use by Bob
I agree with the comments, Skoot needs to chill. He sounds like the kid trying way to hard to be cool and funny to make friends but it's just not working with Bob and Woods flow. He also sounds like a common league of legends player so there's that
They've been pushing Skootish for awhile now, both on this channel and on Wood's video of him hunting for Switch games in New York. It's great, he's funny sometimes....but I'm still on the fence with him. I want to like him and his content...but in my honest opinion, he tries too hard. He's the "Look at me!!!" guy of this group and it shows.

I’m not really a big Xenoblade person but X was amazing! It was definitely in contention for my favorite Wii U game. The giant open world and detailed creatures were so cool. Not to mention the characters, weapons, and mechs.
It's incredible how many iconic and groundbreaking franchises (at the time) these two video game content creators haven't experienced. Like you'd think they'd atleast TRY OUT Advance Wars, for example to have an opinion.

I typically don't usually comment on videos. I have been watching the podcasts since day 1 and this episode I felt was hard to get through at times. Especially after the ad read interruption. I am mainly here for Wood and Bob and for having someone like scoot keep butting in at times it was just unbearable. I liked the time Kim came on the podcast. I feel it had a nice flow to things unlike this one. I feel this one didn't have the flow it typically had. By far the worst episode so far.
Yeah I've been watching these guys for years they got me through some tough times while recovering in Walter Reed from injuries in Afghanistan, this scoop guy just steam rolled everything and destroyed the whole vibe of the show; I couldn't even finish the episode! I wouldn't mind if Kim,Wood,and Bob did the show themselves. Kim could do what scoot was doing,helping them out on certain things and just letting them talk and do the show the way they were doing it. I know she will not steam roll the show, plus we all know her and like her from other streams!
I think the problem is that they're not Mic'd. It's dissonant when you hear two perfectly clear voices, an echo-y voice and a bunch of mumbling. That's what ruins the flow of conversation, making it seem artificial..
My biggest beef with Brawl is a personal one, I've been playing Samus since Smash 64 and they nerfed her into F- tier for no apparent reason. A fully charged beam shot seemed to just tickle opponents and forcing Zero Suit rubbed me the wrong way.
I'm not offended by swearing or passion about games, but Skoot really is making this podcast suffer. Having F**K shouted into the mic and constant butting in on the presenters talking is just unacceptable. A sponsor isn't going to sign up if they think someone is going to say "f***k the sponsor" during the promo spot. Seriously keep Skoot behind the camera and silent otherwise you risk losing subscribers since Wood is very family friendly and Bob isn't offensive, despite the odd swear word. I am just offended by Skoot, his language and his opinions.
I wasn't going to say anything because I thought I was alone on the opinion, but it was really bugging me as well. It was Wood and Bob's list, and they kept interrupting and taking over EVERY SINGLE TIME. I don't mind the occasional interaction, but this was annoying.

Agree with the others that you should have one off screen mic (like for scoot), especially if they are helping drive the conversation. Sort of like Stevie on Good Mythical Morning. Anybody else who talks should just walk on screen, it would be totally fine if Kim walked on screen to chat about Animal Crossing
Great show! Thanks for keeping me company for my workout. It was fun to look back at some of these! 've got fond memories of playing Starfox64 with my brother in the summer, playing over and over again to get good so we could get the medals on every course.

This video was honestly just terrible. The people talking off screen had AWFUL audio for how much they talked and the 2 hosts had the most shallow hot takes over and over. Half the video was the same joke of "lol D for Donkey Kong, lol F for F Zero, lol C for Cruisin'" and the other half was them just saying that the latest game in the franchise was the best. These guys barely seem to know anything about Nintendo games older than like 5 years tbh
I'd love E, Kim, and anyone commenting from off-camera to have a mic. Love their contributions and it wouldn't be the same without them!! It's just hard for me to hear them sometimes.
I really loved the first couple eps, but the last few idk. I’m not sure how much doing a tier list or Nintendo trivia works for purely audio listeners. It’s the kind of thing that’s fun to watch live but if I miss the stream and it comes up in my podcast feed, it just feels like it was meant to be watched live and the audio is just for posterity. I would love to see y’all return to more audio friendly output. The episodes with guests have been great!
Please talk to Skoot about how he is contributing as a producer. It’s irritating as a listener and a fan of both Wood and Bob, to have a non-host constantly interrupting some of your favorite content creators. You can tell in this episode, Wood wants all voices to feel heard and that is valid however, it’s not improving the content. Especially when you guys are trying to get sponsors and there’s a giant F-Bomb for no reason in the middle of this now ruined bit for me. Love all the topics of discussion so far and having guests from Spawnwave and Indy developers are great but Skoot (not sure I’m spelling correctly) is ruining the show.
Really enjoyed this Podcast until it became all about Scoot's interruptions. Came for Wood and Wulff's banter, Kim jells with them, the rest take away from the flow.
I would love more ranking videos, but I’d like more of the focus to be on Bob and Wood. No hate on Scoot, but his constant input seemed to derail things and make this harder to get through. The occasional input is fine, but this was just a bit too much.

Feedback: Scoot take a look at what the producers at kinda funny do. When they interject they keep the conversation going. Compared to Kim, yeah he has a mic. But the volume/timbre/quality of it feels different, and can be harder to distinguish when just listening to the video through headphones. Also, Wood is right about bonus stars. Mario spin off series are meant to be wacky
I would like to see a podcast that’s a mock courtroom trial of the Zelda franchise vs the Mario franchise with Wood and Bob acting as the lawyers for each side respectively. They could do opening and closing statements and bring in witnesses to question (guests) and the fans could decide who argued the better case for their game reigning supreme.

Given Bob tends to love platformers like Celeste, Meatboy, and Ross' Mario Maker levels, I'm surprised his reason for disliking DKC is "you can't see what's coming" and "trial and error". The sometimes crazy difficulty is part of the appeal to me. My biggest critique of the OG Rare DKC games is that while I personally love the prerendered visuals, it leads to a lot of weirdness when it comes to hitboxes. That said, it's still S-Tier overall for me, but to each their own.

NO WAY. KID ICARUS UPRISING WAS GENUINELY AMAZING. Its genuinely my favorite game on the 3ds and has one of my favorite stories in any nintendo game. The gameplay once you play it for 5 minutes becomes amazing. Yiiiikes it genuinely made me rethink all of your alls gaming opinions lol
BALLOON KID on game boy. I loved that game and the music was perfect for a little girl floating away with her balloons. Just as impactful as balloon fight in my opinion
It would be hype to hear non Nintendo stuff. We get to see personalities and hear stories we wouldn't know. Like Trash Taste's anime podcast who only talked about anime 4/100 Episodes.
I think uprising was a very good game, controls were a little weird but running it on emulation and using a trackpad makes the game feel like a natural shooter
Oh man, the "Donkey Kong" section lost a lot of potential disregarding the remake for the original Gameboy. That brings the arcade saga way up in the tiers imo because of how expansive it got with it's puzzles through the new stages - and that totally could extend into the Mario vs DK series as I'm sure their puzzles were heavily influenced by the GB DK game's stages.
I can agree with the Pokemon conversation. I love Pokemon but there are some features or gameplay styles that I don't understand why they haven't tackled. As an example, I love to play Temtem just so I can get a good Multiplayer Pokemon style game that I can coop with my friends online. Some of the last Pokemon games have been sooooo easy that I can play the entire game and never lose a battle. All in all, pretty good list.
I wish the tier list was put on the TV or put the tier list longer with each listing. I'm trying to keep track but it's annoying that ,as a non podcast viewer, I have to remember what the ranks are currently. The inserts were simply too fast and wish it stayed longer while your voiceovers talk over it. (AKA J-Cut)
I don't remember Culdcept being a Nintendo property. I personally still have the PS2 original and the XBox 360 sequel Culdcept Saga. Maybe Nintendo bought Omiya Soft and now have the IP. Great game BTW where a CCG meets Monopoly in the least boring way one could combine the two.
You know I'm quite excited to hear what Wood thinks about Xenoblade 3 since he loved XC1 and hates XC2. I think he's going to like this one better than XC2.
A lot of people were turned off by the steroid shot cocktail of Weebo Fanservicy stuff in 2. All the previews seem to indicate that 3 is more like 1 at least in that regard
Some feedback given with the best intentions. I like you guys but felt like I wasted my time with this one. I'll probably watch another future episode if it's on a topic I like, but maybe this podcast isn't for me. 1) You guys seemed bored throughout the episode. Asking how much time was left, low energy on a lot of these franchises, lots of interruptions. If you're bored by your own show, you can bet I am too. Get a clock off camera so you don't need to keep asking how long until it's over. 2) Felt too imbalanced toward complaining about the games you talk about vs expressing enthusiasm and appreciation for games. I know a lot more about what you don't like about these franchises, but not too much about what you do like. Kinda felt like being stuck around a co-worker who really needs to go find a new job/career. 3) Cut down on the off camera banter. Well covered in other comments. Trashing a potential sponsor was pretty terrible. 4) Prepare more. I get that just riffing adds to a natural, intimate feel, but showing up prepared would make this a lot better. You'll still get the natural convo feeling because you two have some chemistry. Game rankings should fill the comments with what other people like. Instead the comments are on the poor quality of this episode.

I really enjoyed having Jon and MsClick on and Kim has great inputs too so it isn’t about keeping it to just the two of you! Think it is about keeping that causal chatty, chilled vibe.

I was really digging the Nontendo podcast when it was just Bob and Wood, even when half the episode was off-topic chatting about life stuff, you guys are so chill its enjoyable listening to your banter. This episode was hard to get through, dont know who this Scoot guy is but he is steamrolling the vibes of the show big time imo. I understand the value of having someone there to fill in knowledge gaps but I would rather listen to you guys talk about what you like without some faceless character constantly butting in with their opinion, no offense but its super annoying.
I think that it would be better if they had him on camera for this episode and mic'd up

Thats the podcast I would tune in to weekly or even daily! These gimmick episodes feel forced and rushed, the chemistry is gone. :(

I subscribed to hear these guys banter, and its fine to get some people invited, but Skoot is derailing it.
The constant interruptions makes it feel like he wants to take over, the F potential sponsors will bite you along the way, please decide what you want him to do. Will he drive the topics? (which has been proven to be bad) or will he be a host? Wood looks like the kind of guy that like to keep a tight ship and Wulff is a chill one that add some nice comments, but Skoot is not it.
Yeah, we are here for Bob and Wood. Not for Scoot. Occasional helpful input is cool but don’t interrupt who we are here for.
It's not just Scoot. RGT 85 is the same for spawncast. These guys reference that joker too. One guy just ruins everything and these guys will literally keep them there and risk it all.

Yeah. I read comments ahead of time and felt they were exaggerated. But having finished the episode, wow this seemed like a mess. I had just binged the other 9 and this was the first stinker for me. I agree with most of the list even, but if these other people are going to speak, there needs to be structure or bring them on directly.
And Scoot cursing at Skillshare didn’t help. It was so unnecessary and unprofessional even if they weren’t sponsored

It’s cuz They are all friends, and Skoot is a much smaller online entertainer so calling him out on screen might hurt him, wood is to nice to say anything on camera, Bob has this mean and grumpy persona but i dont think he can actually get mad at a friend on camera, and I’m sure they see Skoot as a little buddy they can’t really get mad at for some weird reasons. I hope they had a serious talk with him off camera.

As someone who studied business and has some experience in sales, my humble opinion is that the spec ads (that’s what they’re called) y’all have been doing for sponsors is an EXCELLENT idea! However, cursing the potential sponsor in the middle of the ad is a HARD no. Joke or not that was a very bad move and downright disrespectful. I recommend trying to do the skillshare one again in another podcast. Just my opinion though I’m not like an expert lol.

I like both of you guys and I think this podcast can become successful, but some things need to change to keep it enjoyable for everyone. I would just like to offer some feedback, it's meant in a constructive way. You could do a bit more preparation like proof reading today's list or the quiz questions that other time and maybe reading up on the specific topic you want to discuss. You guys should also keep in mind that you can't show stuff on camera since it's a podcast and listeners won't have a clue what's going on. And definitely either give a mic to the people in the background or not include them in the episode at all. Anyways, good luck to you guys!

Dude, you didn't ruin the episode. The real problem is that your audio was bad, as was Kim's and everyone else but Wood and Bob. Get a microphone for everyone who talks and it would've been a great episode. The H3 Podcast would be a good model to follow. All the producers have mics that they can turn on and off when needed, and contribute to the show while the main hosts are still Ethan and Hila, so it's never people talking over each other.
People don't have the tech knowledge to know why they didn't like this episode and focused on you as a speaker rather than the technical problems.,
Everyone makes mistakes, however you steamrolled a opportunity at a potential sponsor ; less is more!

I really liked the episode idea, but having Scoot jump in so often hurt the flow. I appreciate his knowledge but I think he should be used to fill in gaps if he's gonna be an off-camera voice.
Also the "f**k Skillshare" comment was a real downer. That was gonna be a funny bit but having that right in the middle and not edited out could be an issue with actually getting the sponsor considering it was immediately followed by comments about first-hand use by Bob

They've been pushing Skootish for awhile now, both on this channel and on Wood's video of him hunting for Switch games in New York. It's great, he's funny sometimes....but I'm still on the fence with him. I want to like him and his content...but in my honest opinion, he tries too hard. He's the "Look at me!!!" guy of this group and it shows.

I’m not really a big Xenoblade person but X was amazing! It was definitely in contention for my favorite Wii U game. The giant open world and detailed creatures were so cool. Not to mention the characters, weapons, and mechs.

It's incredible how many iconic and groundbreaking franchises (at the time) these two video game content creators haven't experienced. Like you'd think they'd atleast TRY OUT Advance Wars, for example to have an opinion.
With how much stuff they have to play just to stay relevant, it's not easy to go back and play the classics

I typically don't usually comment on videos. I have been watching the podcasts since day 1 and this episode I felt was hard to get through at times. Especially after the ad read interruption. I am mainly here for Wood and Bob and for having someone like scoot keep butting in at times it was just unbearable. I liked the time Kim came on the podcast. I feel it had a nice flow to things unlike this one. I feel this one didn't have the flow it typically had. By far the worst episode so far.

Yeah I've been watching these guys for years they got me through some tough times while recovering in Walter Reed from injuries in Afghanistan, this scoop guy just steam rolled everything and destroyed the whole vibe of the show; I couldn't even finish the episode! I wouldn't mind if Kim,Wood,and Bob did the show themselves. Kim could do what scoot was doing,helping them out on certain things and just letting them talk and do the show the way they were doing it. I know she will not steam roll the show, plus we all know her and like her from other streams!
I think the problem is that they're not Mic'd. It's dissonant when you hear two perfectly clear voices, an echo-y voice and a bunch of mumbling. That's what ruins the flow of conversation, making it seem artificial..
The dude off camera might as well have been running a blender or a vacuum cleaner. He derailed the whole thing.

My biggest beef with Brawl is a personal one, I've been playing Samus since Smash 64 and they nerfed her into F- tier for no apparent reason. A fully charged beam shot seemed to just tickle opponents and forcing Zero Suit rubbed me the wrong way.
I'm not offended by swearing or passion about games, but Skoot really is making this podcast suffer. Having F**K shouted into the mic and constant butting in on the presenters talking is just unacceptable. A sponsor isn't going to sign up if they think someone is going to say "f***k the sponsor" during the promo spot.
Seriously keep Skoot behind the camera and silent otherwise you risk losing subscribers since Wood is very family friendly and Bob isn't offensive, despite the odd swear word. I am just offended by Skoot, his language and his opinions.

This video was honestly just terrible. The people talking off screen had AWFUL audio for how much they talked and the 2 hosts had the most shallow hot takes over and over. Half the video was the same joke of "lol D for Donkey Kong, lol F for F Zero, lol C for Cruisin'" and the other half was them just saying that the latest game in the franchise was the best. These guys barely seem to know anything about Nintendo games older than like 5 years tbh

I really loved the first couple eps, but the last few idk. I’m not sure how much doing a tier list or Nintendo trivia works for purely audio listeners. It’s the kind of thing that’s fun to watch live but if I miss the stream and it comes up in my podcast feed, it just feels like it was meant to be watched live and the audio is just for posterity. I would love to see y’all return to more audio friendly output. The episodes with guests have been great!
Please talk to Skoot about how he is contributing as a producer. It’s irritating as a listener and a fan of both Wood and Bob, to have a non-host constantly interrupting some of your favorite content creators. You can tell in this episode, Wood wants all voices to feel heard and that is valid however, it’s not improving the content. Especially when you guys are trying to get sponsors and there’s a giant F-Bomb for no reason in the middle of this now ruined bit for me.
Love all the topics of discussion so far and having guests from Spawnwave and Indy developers are great but Skoot (not sure I’m spelling correctly) is ruining the show.
Really enjoyed this Podcast until it became all about Scoot's interruptions. Came for Wood and Wulff's banter, Kim jells with them, the rest take away from the flow.

Feedback: Scoot take a look at what the producers at kinda funny do. When they interject they keep the conversation going. Talking over the hosts makes the listener feel uncomfortable and less engaged. I had a hard time getting through this one. Hope my feedback is heard and I’ll look forward to the next one. I would like to see a podcast that’s a mock courtroom trial of the Zelda franchise vs the Mario franchise with Wood and Bob acting as the lawyers for each side respectively. They could do opening and closing statements and bring in witnesses to question (guests) and the fans could decide who argued the better case for their game reigning supreme.

Given Bob tends to love platformers like Celeste, Meatboy, and Ross' Mario Maker levels, I'm surprised his reason for disliking DKC is "you can't see what's coming" and "trial and error". The sometimes crazy difficulty is part of the appeal to me.
My biggest critique of the OG Rare DKC games is that while I personally love the prerendered visuals, it leads to a lot of weirdness when it comes to hitboxes. That said, it's still S-Tier overall for me, but to each their own.

NO WAY. KID ICARUS UPRISING WAS GENUINELY AMAZING. Its genuinely my favorite game on the 3ds and has one of my favorite stories in any nintendo game. The gameplay once you play it for 5 minutes becomes amazing. Yiiiikes it genuinely made me rethink all of your alls gaming opinions lol
BALLOON KID on game boy. I loved that game and the music was perfect for a little girl floating away with her balloons. Just as impactful as balloon fight in my opinion

I think uprising was a very good game, controls were a little weird but running it on emulation and using a trackpad makes the game feel like a natural shooter

Scoot is abrasive and unfunny with constant interruptions, killing the flow. Couldn't make it to the end...
Oh man, the "Donkey Kong" section lost a lot of potential disregarding the remake for the original Gameboy. That brings the arcade saga way up in the tiers imo because of how expansive it got with it's puzzles through the new stages - and that totally could extend into the Mario vs DK series as I'm sure their puzzles were heavily influenced by the GB DK game's stages.
I can agree with the Pokemon conversation. I love Pokemon but there are some features or gameplay styles that I don't understand why they haven't tackled. As an example, I love to play Temtem just so I can get a good Multiplayer Pokemon style game that I can coop with my friends online. Some of the last Pokemon games have been sooooo easy that I can play the entire game and never lose a battle. All in all, pretty good list.
Pokémon mystery dungeon at F tier was criminal though 😩

I wish the tier list was put on the TV or put the tier list longer with each listing. I'm trying to keep track but it's annoying that ,as a non podcast viewer, I have to remember what the ranks are currently. The inserts were simply too fast and wish it stayed longer while your voiceovers talk over it. (AKA J-Cut)
I don't remember Culdcept being a Nintendo property. I personally still have the PS2 original and the XBox 360 sequel Culdcept Saga. Maybe Nintendo bought Omiya Soft and now have the IP. Great game BTW where a CCG meets Monopoly in the least boring way one could combine the two.
You know I'm quite excited to hear what Wood thinks about Xenoblade 3 since he loved XC1 and hates XC2. I think he's going to like this one better than XC2.
A lot of people were turned off by the steroid shot cocktail of Weebo Fanservicy stuff in 2. All the previews seem to indicate that 3 is more like 1 at least in that regard
Some feedback given with the best intentions. I like you guys but felt like I wasted my time with this one. I'll probably watch another future episode if it's on a topic I like, but maybe this podcast isn't for me.
1) You guys seemed bored throughout the episode. Asking how much time was left, low energy on a lot of these franchises, lots of interruptions. If you're bored by your own show, you can bet I am too. Get a clock off camera so you don't need to keep asking how long until it's over.
2) Felt too imbalanced toward complaining about the games you talk about vs expressing enthusiasm and appreciation for games. I know a lot more about what you don't like about these franchises, but not too much about what you do like. Kinda felt like being stuck around a co-worker who really needs to go find a new job/career.
3) Cut down on the off camera banter. Well covered in other comments. Trashing a potential sponsor was pretty terrible.
4) Prepare more. I get that just riffing adds to a natural, intimate feel, but showing up prepared would make this a lot better. You'll still get the natural convo feeling because you two have some chemistry.
Game rankings should fill the comments with what other people like. Instead the comments are on the poor quality of this episode.
